Splatterstar star yawned from her perch in the den. She smiled at the clan, her eyes glinting off the sun. She might as well make a patrol, as they were running low on prey. She yowled, her mew ringing throughout the camp. Her paws moved her to the high-rock, where she sat and looked at her clan mates beneath her.

Ashfur walked calmly out of the medicine den. She had been working with her herbs when she heard the yowl. She padded over to the front of the rock and sat down. She looked up at the leader with respect in her eyes. She coundn't help wonder what was going on.

New Leaf - A little chilly for Smokeclan, but they are fine. The weather is great for racing and training.

Green Leaf - The Smokeclan cats love green-leaf! It’s the perfect time to play, and dash around! The fast cats uses their speed to catch the most prey during this!

Leaf Fall - Chilly, and the Smokeclan cats prepare for Leafbare. They gather tons of moss to line all the dens with, and combine one large bed to keep warm with each other

Leaf Bare - Very cold! The Smokeclan cats don’t go out in this weather unless to hunt, sometimes patrol and play as well. The cats sometimes run out of prey as well.

Pros:
- Very quick
- Agile
- Tough pads from running around
- Stealthy
- Can go for a while without waters
- Long limbed to help run
- Can jump high to catch Crows and sparrows

Cons:
- Can't deal well with cold weather
- Can’t climb well
- Twolegs invade territory during leaf-bare to bring small boards and race down the hills.

Splatterstar looked down at the medicine cat. “Oh just wanted to do a few patrols, that’s all!” She said, noting the concern in her medicine cats eyes. She also had other news, but waited until the patrols were made. “I have another announcement.” “As many of you know, I have lost one life due to an open wound. I am down to 8 out of 9 lives, but this clan is thriving well.” “Thank you Ashfur for helping us keep the clan healthy, as well.”

Ashfur couldn't help feeling proud. She had put her life in to making sure the clan was healthy and safe. She smiled. “Thank you. I love taking care of everyone. I am happy things are going so well.”

Ashfur hesitated, “I have news as well. If i may.”


Ashfur sadly turned to glance at all her clanmates. “Despite all the work i have done one of the elders who was sick passed on this morning.”

She sat down and waited for everyone's response.

Whisperflight|| Deputy || Location: SmokeClan Camp || Mentions: Open

Green eyes opening slightly, the calico wondered what had woken her from her nap before hearing another yowl echo through the camp. Opening her eyes fully and yawning widely, she rose from her nest and joined the rest of the gathering cats. She was surprise don’t to find Splatterstar up on the high rock and wondered why the leader hadn’t alerted her about the meeting. Long tail flicking anxiously behind her, she quickly takes her spot besides (I don’t remember where deputies sit during clan meetings whoops) the high rock and curls her tail around her paws to hide both her anxiety and annoyance.
As Splatterstar begins to speak, she couldn’t help but feel another pang of annoyance towards her leader, it was technically her job to arrange patrols, if Splatterstar wanted more patrolling done she should have asked her. Putting on a blank face, she listened to the rest of the announcements.

She leaned down, seeing the slightly disappointed look on her deputies face. She quickly realized why. “Actually, Whisperfight will arrange the patrols, as I am busy.” She smiled at the cat and jumped off rock, noting the elders moving their clan-mates body. “I’m sure you did all you could,” whispered her to Ashfur.

Whisperflight || Deputy || Location: SmokeClan camp || Mentions: Open

The calico’s ears twitched at Splatterstar’s mention of her and she struggled to not roll her eyes. As the meeting came to a close, Whisperflight stood from her spot and approached a group of young Warriors that were huddled together, gossiping. Deciding that is was best to split them up for a patrol she motioned over two older warriors and then spoke to the group “I want two of you to go with [name] and patrol the border we share with SnowClan, I got word that a few of their cats got a little too close to our border yesterday. You two,” She meowed, motioning at the other two young warriors, “will go with [name] on a hunting patrol. You may leave after paying respects to our fallen elder.” With those parting words the calico turned away from the group and payed respect to the elder herself, she didn’t know them well but wished them a safe journey to starclan.
Padding over to a sunny spot in the clearing, Whisperflight laid down, content to relax for some time before assigning someone to go on an evening patrol with her.

"thank you. I really did. But, Splatterstar there is something i need to talk with you about privately." she whispered back to Splatterstar.

Ashfur then got up and patted off to see how everyone was doing. Lots of cats were getting sick right now and she needed to make sure everyone was feeling okay.

Splatterstar smiles. “Thank you Whisprflight, she mewed, her tone soft and a little stern. Though the elder (let’s just say: Patchtail) was on a safe journey, she couldn’t help but feel a pang of sadness, because she respected all her clan mates like they were her parents. “And Ashfur. Could you check out my paw?” “It seems to have a sharp and small Thorn I couldn’t get out with my teeth..” She mumbled, turning her paw, the usually pink pad was stained red with blood, and a small pointy object was nudged in there.

Ashfur looked down at Splatterstar paw.
"yes, that doesn't look good." She used her paw and teeth and got it out. Then she applied a herbal paste to it so it would heal better.
"Splatterstar? I didn't want to tell the clan and frighten them but i got a message from Skyclan. Something is brewing. And it doesn't look good. Lots of bloodshed." Ashfur whispered in a worried voice.

Splatterstar looked down at her paw, licking the edges and she winced at the sour taste of the herbs. “No...not more fighting.” She was a peaceful leader, and didn’t like any bloodshed. She looked down, her tone grim. “Did they say anything else?” She groaned and swiped her tail at Whisperflight, motioning for her to come over. “We got a message from Starclan. Blood will be shed.” She flicked her ears backwards, her eyes darting from each cat to the next. Could someone try to...betray her?! Was someone eager for her power? She sighed. (Let’s make the prophecy.......Before the blood red sun will rise, the path will be red, and the cats will cry) (does that sound cool?)
