Ashfur hesitated and then spoke up
"To be prepared for anything and everything i need lots of herbs. So much in fact that i don't think i can collect it all by myself. If you would be okay with it Splatterstar i would like to have a couple of warriors come with me and help?"
She looked out of the leader's den and then back at Splatterstar
"i would just take some of the apprentices like i do sometimes but the herbs i need to collect need to be handled with care."

Blue-grey ears pricked as he he watched his leader motioning for him to come. Giving a small bob of his head, he bounded over to his leader. Lifting his fluffy white tail and waving it in a respectful greeting, Fluffytail meowed, "Yes, Splatterstar?" He politely asked the she-cat, awaiting an answer. He turned his gaze over to Ashfur as the medicine cat spoke. "I could go if you wish? I already went solo hunting today so I believe I could help you out and let some other cats go hunting instead." he let out a short soft purr. He knew how boring it was, especially for a warrior, to collect herbs. He figured that since he already went hunting, he should go.

“We can collect herbs with you on our way back from the border if you don’t mind Ashfur.” Whisperflight meowed, exiting the den. “The four of us can make our way to the MoonClan border and then quickly check our borders with SnowClan and FrostClan and on the way back to camp we can stop and collect as many herbs as your heart desires.” This sounded like a good idea to the She cat, it maximized time and effort. She looked at both Splatterstar and Ashfur to wait for their opinion on her plan.

With a swift nod, the strangely patterned cat jumped to her paws, giving the hurt one another swift lick, then she scampered out of the ivy tunnel, making sure that it was intact. Seeing that it was though, she made her way out into the forest. She purred at the smell of delicious squirrel that hung in her jaws, but she shook it off, as she knew there were many more important jobs. Besides, she could grab the prey on the way back. Her fur suddenly stood up on end. She smelled cat...but not NonClan cat....a Clan cat....maybe Frostclan... "Do you all smell that?" she asked, her ears pressed against her head. "I smell a cat." "On OUR border!" She unsheathed her claws and then gave into a quick sprint, her paws scraping on the mossy forest floor.

Dovestar stood up and shook out her fuzzy pelt, just to catch a glimpse of a cat running towards her.
"woahh" she meowed, moving out of the way in case the cat, Splatterstar to be more exact, didn't stop.
"It's only Dovestar, Splatterstar. I don't have any warriors, I need to speak with you though." she meowed, worry in her eyes.

Ashfur sniffed the air "they don't belong on our territory but maybe they want to discuss the prophey. Let's see who it is and what they have to say before we attack."

She nodded. “Of course.” She made her way to the cat, respectfully nodding her head and flicking her tail to the camp. “You all please continue checking the border, Dovestar, join me in the camp.” She stepped forward and then walked to the bramble boundary, the vines draping her head. She walked inside and a few cats gasped, seeing the great FrostClan leader in their camp. The queens sheltered their kits. “Please excuse our visitor, we have to discuss something. “Ashfur is out collecting herbs.” “If it is turkey important, please talk to me.” Her voice was stern. She didn’t like others on her territory, but for this cause, she could accept.

Dovestar nodded respectfully to Splatterstar, trying not to prickle her pelt at the gazes she received from the cats around her. Once in the leader's den, she started speaking.
"I've had an omen and a vision" Dovestar whispered. "I fear a great battle between your clan and MoonClan, and I have been shown signs on who to side with. Have you received anything recently?

Ashfur paused in the middle of getting herbs. Something was wrong. A second later she fall to the ground. First dizzness but then visions asailed her. Usually Skyclan talked to her when she was sleeping. Only when it was very important did they talk to her. She lay there vision after vision coming and going.
A vision of her clan battling. Warriors injured all over the place. Bolood...some much blood. More then the first time Skyclan had talked to her. But...she saw something..it was Splatterstar ..hurt..
Ashfur sat up weak and more scared then before. She told the warriors that were with her to go and let Splatterstar know what she saw...now

Her stare was firm. “Yes....I have gotten the omen too.” “I presume the other Clans have as well.” Her tone was stiff. She felt awkward. Was Dovestar to choose Moonclans side.....that would be embarrassing. “Anyway.” “You said there was an omen showing you which side.” Her eyes darted from her to the floor. “You may share if you wish....” She let out a small sigh, showing how angry she was with herself. “I just can’t see how it lead to this....” “we were a peaceful clan, helping is our job!” She crossed her paws and wrapped her tail around them slowly.

Whisperflight was uncomfortable with the fact that her leader was going back to camp alone with Dovestar. Sometimes Splatterstar was just too trusting, maybe the other leader’s intentions were good but it’s possible that she was just here to start problems. Following Ashfur, with Fluffytail besides her, she’s was in deep enough in thought that Ashfur’s sudden collapse almost had the skittish cat jumping out of her fur. Green eyes wide, she looked over at Fluffytail who also seemed to be in a state of shock. Lucky for the pair, Ashfur came out of her episode quickly.
Whisperflight listened to the medicine cat talk, worry framing her features, but when Ashfur told both of them to go she shook her head and looked at Fluffytail “You stay with Ashfur Incase anything else happens- and don’t tell anyone about what she said, not until Splatterstar decides what to do.”
With those parting words, the deputy turned and ran towards camp, her long limbs and nimble body had her arriving at record time. She hesitantly paused at the mouth of Splatterstar’s den before entering.
“Splatterstar, I need to speak with you.” She meowed, slightly out of breath from her sprint. She cast an untrusting glance at Dovestar before turning her attention back to her leader.
