Her eyes cast worry and despair. “Please, no more trouble.” Her claws sheathed and unsheathed and she cast a glance at Dovestar, with a bit of hurt. “Have you brought a patrol?” “Is this a trap?” “Have you just brought me here so I could be distracted from my clan?!” Her eyes slitted as she looked back at her deputy. “Hollypelt!” He mewed to the passing warrior. “Please guard Dovestar.” “See so that she does not run.” With that she jumped down from her den and then padded to Whisperflight. “What is the problem?”

Whisperflight watched as Hollyleaf approached the leader, hoping Dovestar wouldn’t cause any trouble for anyone. Bringing her attention back to Splatterstar, Whisperflight saw just how worried the leader looked “There has not been an attack of any kind,” She meowed, reassuring her that everyone was safe for now “but Ashfur had a vision while we were gathering herbs. She fell onto the ground, Fluffytail and I didn’t know what to do. Luckily, she is okay and when she gained consciousness, she shared her vision with use and it is... troubling.” Ears pressed back against her head, the calico sits down, wrapping her twitching tail around her paws “She said she saw our clan in battle with many injured and blood everywhere and you... she said you were hurt.”

Whisperflight deadpanned at Splatterstar, she wasn’t sure what to say but after a few seconds of silence she finally spoke up “Splatterstar, you are the leader of this clan, you are not allowed to behave like this. This is not the first time we have had conflict with other clans and it will not be the last. You cannot act as if we have already lost a battle that has not even begun and you also can’t go parading through the territory of a potential enemy. Nothing has happened yet. All we can do is watch our borders and make sure the camp is secure. If Dovestar is here to declare an alliance then all the better, if we end up in conflict then we will need all the help we can get. We are not a weak clan Splatterstar, but the thing you have failed to see is that neither is MoonClan, I understand their anger. They are not a weak clan but you have treated them as if they are and now they want to show us how they are not. It is time to step back and let Moonclan manage themselves, even if a conflict does not occur. Your focus needs to be on bettering your own clan and becoming a strong leader. This self doubt will only end up hurting the clan.” The calico knew she had spoken out of line more than once but she was growing frustrated with this whole situation. If something was going to happen then it was going to happen, wallowing wasn’t going to change anything.

Whisperflight nodded, and affectionately bumped Splatterstar on the shoulder “We got this Splatterstar. Smokeclan will be okay.” Standing, she turned towards the entrance of the den and walked out, Splatterstar behind her.
“I’ll get [elder name] to keep an eye out on the other elders, he’s still capable of protecting himself if he needs to and I’ll make sure some of the warriors check up on them. [Tomcat name] will be more than happy to sit watch over the nursery with his kits in there and he can take shifts with [name] and [name]. If anything does happen, they will be protected. I’ll send out two hunting patrols and a border patrol now so everyone has enough food and our borders are being watched.” The calico hopes she had thought of everything and looked back at Splatterstar to hear her thoughts.

The calico purred at the praise and looked around the camp to see who was around
"I'll go with you, just give me a second to assemble the patrols and talk to a few cats, it shouldn't take too long." Before Splatterstar could answer her, the multicolored she cat had quickly padded into the elder's den. A few seconds later she reemerged with {Elder name} at her tail. The old tom cat sat in front of the elders den, his chest puffed out and his cloudy eyes looking for any sign of trouble. Whisperflight tried to keep herself from rolling her eyes at his theatrics as she padded into the warriors den. A few more moments passed before she reemerged with {male warrior}, who looked quiet worried and dashed to the nursery- Whisperflight followed him at a much slower pace. She only stuck her head into the small, cramped den to quickly talk to the queens and then pulled away and padded to a group of three cats lounging in the sun. A few words from her and the group stood and headed out of camp. As she re approached Splatterstar another group of warriors padded out of the warriors den and also left the camp.
"I sent one border patrol out and one hunting patrol. {Aforementioned male warrior} is watching the nursery and {aforementioned elder} is watching the elders den. I told the patrols to keep an eye out for anything suspicious and i told {Aforementioned male warrior} and {aforementioned elder} that a fox had been spotted in the area and they have to keep a lookout for it... I didn't want to spook them yet if nothing happens."

But she shook it off as she nodded at the elder and warrior, “thank you.” She mutters, Before leaving the camp. “Holly leaf, please watch over camp wile Whisperflight and I go.” She nodded to the warrior thankfully then the pale cat trailed out of camp
