Appearance: An average height for a woman (5'7), with long brown hair with high light and undertones to match accordingly, with stunning blues eyes. A very feminine face, and when she does smile it seems to glow. A toned figured as well, as she has been trained all her life to be a warrior, explaining the serious look she always seems to have, those most would describe as a scowl or RBF. Three slashes run diagonally across her back to match that of a dragon's claw, a wound she received in battle.

Personality: A serious person, who just radiates respect and authority when she walks into a room, and doesn't have to say a word. In occasional moments she can crack a joke, or play around, but her work must come first. She's not one to cross, as she has no problem to put someone in their place verbally, or physically. Not one to hold her tongue, she'll say what's on her mind, and doesn't care who's feelings she hurts. She's training warriors, not nursery maids.

Brief History: Raised by two of the best Generals of Dririam, she was trained from birth to be a warrior, thus why she succeeds so much now, and was deprived of a childhood. Her mother died due to labor complications delivering her younger brother, who sadly died as well. This was a hard hit for her father, but he didn't let her skip a beat in her training. She excelled when she got her dragon, and she surpassed her class, and graduated quickly form the school. This allowed her to be in the army going on 9 years, 2 years of that training the next warriors.

Sword: A long, wide, smooth blade made of the best metal is held by a grip wrapped in extravagant, pure black, bear leather. Because its sharp on just one edge this weapon is ideal for both cleaving enemies as well as blocking their attacks.The blade has a jagged, warped cross-guard, offering plenty of protection to the owner's hands and thus their life. The cross-guard has a lavish gold eagle crest on each side. A massive pommel is engraved with the sword maker's symbol, a symbol one can be proud of. The blade itself is engraved. Several words of power have been artistically etched into the blade, which only adds to the elegance of this weapon
Bow: This fine composite bow has been skillfully constructed of long-lasting walnut wood. Its string is made from a valuable hide. The limbs have been decorated with gilded details and end in long points ornamented with feathers. The handle is wrapped in rare leather and decorated with ominous carved woodworks. The large quiver is made from rare fur and hide and is supposed to be worn around the archer's back. The outer side has been decorated with carefully wrapped leather, which must be there for more than just decoration. In the hands of anybody this bow is capable of firing arrows up to 295 meters while still retaining lethal power.

Shield Description: This tough heater shield, made from ironbark, offers a robust cover, especially against attacks. This is no coincidence, as this shield was forged by fury dragonkin in a draconic workshop. The shield's edges are augmented with large metal studs and have been decorated with golden studs. Its center is ornamented with the family crest. Nothing has left its mark yet, who knows if this shield will ever get to stare at death and smile, but one this is for sure: this shield craves a master of its equal.

Armor Description: A mix of leather, metal, and chain mail complete her armor. Metal shoulder, hip, side, leg, and arm guards, while chain mail connects all the metal pieces, with leather under her armor as added protection and comfort. There are added spikes on the metal to make her look like her dragon. Her helmet, with spikes, fits snuggly, except in front of the face, where it juts out to, yet again, look like her dragon, with a raise-able piece over her eyes. Her armor meant to strike fear into the opponent, and it does so, and well.

Dragon's Name: Rootkan Holder of Storms (Root-Kaw-n)

Special Ability: Controls Storms (Thunder, lightning, storm clouds, rain, and wind to some degree)

Description of Dragon: 19 y/o, 33ft tall, and 160ft long, a large dragon for his age, that's entirely black, with spikes scattered around his body in both defensive and tactful positions. A ridge of spikes lines his back all the way down, and two large horns jut from his head like devil horns, and another horn of a smaller degree below that one, and large horns on his elbows as well. Horns are even in his wings, where it bends, and at the ends of them as well. And his wings are large, a couple of feet shorter than his body, but strong and able to lift his heft stature, and go through the air rather quickly. Moderator removed image due to lack of source.

Personality of Dragon: A terrifying dragon to say the least, and he can bit of a sour patch, but once you get past his very, very thick skin he can be very protective and friendly to you. He's confident in himself, and his rider, and does everything he can to the best of his ability for her. He's short tempered, and sharp tongued just like his rider, but he'll be the first one there for his friends, and his rider's friends. He is a serious dragon, but like his owner will be humorous occasionally, and can hear his rumbling chuckle from time to time.

Name: Valentino "Tony" Laguardia

Age: 19

Appearance: A tall young man (6'2), with olive skin going into his prime. A toned and muscular build, but not overbearingly muscular. An olive skine tone with thick, dark brown hair that isn't short, but isn't long. That perfect length when he can style it a little, and the hair barely goes above his fingers when he runs them through it. His hazel eyes appearing more like a gold, and a white charming smile to top it all off. His mark being three, 1/2", black, half circles that start at his thumb, spaced 1/2" apart, and go to just above his wrist.

Personality: A social and charming lad, who will talk to anyone who he approaches, or approaches him. Laid back and easy going in nature, he doesn't usually look for a fight, but if someone manages to flare it up, watch out. He'll do anything that will give a thrill or a laugh, for himself and others.

Brief History: The youngest of three boys, he survived their torment by doing their dares or by making them laugh to forget their anger. The years of practice have turned him into the spectacular young man he is. His mother means the mot to him, as she raised him and his brother's almost single handedly, as his father was a soldier, and in his off time: a drunk. The farm work was left to the boys. The farm was always well cared for, even after their father's death when he was 12. His older two brother's, 16 and 18 at the time, took on the role as the men of the house. His oldest brother wed soon after, and he built his home a few yards from their mother's, and took over the land, leaving their mother to 'retire' as a cook and aid for him and his growing family. The middle brother soon took to the sea, setting out to explore for more lands and treasure. And Tony, well, he decided to follow his father's foot steps and become a soldier, much to his family's disapproval.

Sword Description: Large, broad, and warped blade from years of use from his father. Faded, dull, brown leather wraps the grip. Sharp blade meant for stabbing, jabbing, slicing, and dicing, shredding them with each swing. A jagged but straight cross-guard, still offering lots of protections to the hands and the wielder's life. A faded and eroded carving of a lion on the cross-guard, a once beautify design, now half erased. The pommel, while not massive, big enough to stop the sword from sliding through your hands, has smooth grooves, twisting down the pommel to a point, used for close encounters to bludgeon the opponent. The blade itself is bare, except for the nicks from it's years of use. A beloved blade, but worn.

Shield Description: A sharp, mighty, heater shield, made from mithril, offers very resistant defense against arrows, slashes, and coordinated attacks. By no coincidence either, as it was forged by titan orcs in a volcanic workshop. Tick metal edges carved into an intricate scaly texture. The center adorned with complex metal work. Dings and nicks clearly show this shield stood to tests in battle. Found memories probably lay in those very dings, but this shield surely calls for another chance at glory and victory.

Armor Description: Lacking much of his father's armor, as him and his father varied in stature in girth. Him being taller than his father, meant he couldn't take his pants, and since his father grew round over the years from the abuse of alcohol, the stomach piece was too big for him. He is only able to fit into the boots, chest piece, shoulders, and gloves. Though not much, you could still tell this suit too had seen it's glory in battle, as nicks and dings riddle the pieces.

Dragon's Name: Zanthon

Special Ability: Absorbs other dragon's powers around him (within 50ft), or can shoot horns from tail, but has to wait for them to regrow (5 minutes).

Description of Dragon: A light sandy brown-gold dragon (with a white underbelly and throat), standing 25ft at the shoulders. A slightly longer neck resembling a serpent in it's soft s shape in his resting position. At around 250 ft, he still has room to grow, but he is still a young dragon(13 yrs old). Darker, milky chocolate brown, horns appear in a series of four along the top and bottom of his eyes, the longest being just after his eyes, providing protection, another set of six horns of the same color going down the back of his jaw, the first being before the corner of his jaw, the last one ending slightly below his two massive golden horns that spur in their vibrant gold color from the temples of his head. Three horns spurt from his chin, one in the middle and two on the sides of it, in the same shade as the rest of his scales. His nose coming to a beak like shape, making his bite lethal. His nostrils an ovular shape on cartilage, that come to a point after forming their own horns that just raise enough off his body to not say they are flush, but also can see the tip of the other from the other side. One his forehead, the same three horn pattern appears with broader horns, the middle one coming to a fierce point, followed by a set of three more horns, growing larger as they go back toward his neck, and continue down to his tail, tail another familiar pattern of three long, milk chocolate brown, horns balance on the thin tip, making lethal gashes with a whip of his tail, and if there is no dragon around for him to absorb their power, he can send these horns flying at his target. A slightly darker shade, toasted bread brown, surrounds his sunken in emerald green eyes, making his green eyes contrast and stick out vividly.

Personality of Dragon: A fierce dragon, but only when needed. When his rider, or those he or his rider cares about are threatened, this dragon will do anything to protect them, but if that is not the case, then this dragon would rather stick to himself, though not unfriendly. He can be seen laughing, and playing with his rider, but when it gets crowded or if he simply doesn't want to join in the fun, then he can be found hovering around near by, or lounging around.

Personality:
Quite the laid back type, but, she shy's away from people. Though, she will put on a bright smile to those who approach her, and can easily start up a conversation. She seems happy most of the time, but she has a lot of hidden emotions. She stays away from fights and arguments, and can swiftly but out of drama. The thrill off battle and heights always makes her super happy, and because ahe has all the balled up emotion, she is amazing with battling.

History:
She was put up for adoption at a very young age, and for some reason no one adopted her. So she was sent to a foster family at ten, then had to be switched out the a second one at fourteen. She never had luck with families.

Meanalistic (opposite of albino, solid black), with golden eyes, with darker black rings around them. Like Lexi, she has a golden birthmark on her right thigh. She is 24 feet at the shoulder and has a while to grow, she already has a massive wing span.

Ability:
Can roar teleportes that can carry only her and Lexi through, they can only reach two miles and shorter depending on her or her rider's request. Can also shoot venom out of her top canine fangs (like a venomous snake).

Personality:
Very sweet towards humans, but tries to dominate other dragons, which gets her into trouble often, she gets along wonderfully with dragons that submit to her, and can be around ones that don't, but acts hostile with them. Shes very protective of Lexi, and will attack anything that is a threat, even the smallest threat, to the largest threat. She is very fearless and thoughtful.

Appearance: Elfie stands around 4"11, with big, blue eyes the color of the sky at noon day and thick, curled eyelashes. She has long, naturally curly strawberry blonde hair and full lips. Elfie has roundish features, with a heart shaped face, giving her a rather childish, friendly look. She has a rather Petite build with very pale, fair skin. She normally wears a pastel pink shirt with no sleeves, and light blue jeans rolled up to look like shorts. Description of Dragon: Elvira is a small land dragon, the size of a cat. Her scales are a sparkling blue, as are her eyes, which match Elfie's. Her teeth are a pearly white, and her claws are a foreboding black. She has a two horns on her face, like a rhino, and two horns on the side or her head that curl in spirals.
Personality of Dragon: Elvira, though her eyes are like Elfie's, her personality is rather contrary and disagreeable, the opposite of Elfie's. She doesn't take well to strangers and is very blunt in her responses, but never lies, to a point where it is a flaw, and she is rather disliked by other dragons. Though disliked, she is respected for her visions.

Name: Rosalind "Rose" Allerton

Age: 18 Years

Appearance: Rose is a tall young woman, standing taller than even some of the boys at the school at a height of exactly six feet. Her skin is fair, and she has very sharp, distinctly feminine facial features: angled eyebrows, high cheekbones, and full lips. She has a lithe build, and although it makes her look slightly delicate, she carries herself with elegant, practised poise which gives her an air of importance. Her long, dark brown hair, falls past her shoulders in well-maintained waves; she prefers to keep her hair down, only occasionally braiding it for important events. Her eyes appear to be dark brown in colour, but, upon closer inspection, you'd find that there are flecks of green in them. Her rider's mark is a small, crescent shape that's right behind her left ear, and though it's usually covered by her hair, when she ties it up the vibrant, light-blue colour of the mark makes it stand out.

Personality: Having grown up in the world of politicians, Rose is more accustomed to using words as her weapons. She's a polite and charming woman who thrives in social situations. She's generally very good with people; she's easily able to read the emotions of others, and, even as a child, she's been known to talk herself out of any trouble she gets into. While these traits come in handy for her a lot, the nature of her upbringing does mean that she's not used to the blunt attitudes of those who work in the army.

Though she's always initially friendly to everyone she meets, she is rather guarded, and won't share things about her personal life until she's developed a closer bond with you. She's taught herself to hide her emotions, suppressing them rather than dealing with them, so even her closest friends might not know there's something wrong with her until she reaches her melting point or has a breakdown. This issue, however, has seemed to improve since getting a dragon, as their mental bond makes her feel comfortable enough to confide in the dragon.

History: The only child of an important politician, Rose has had a guarded upbringing. She never really knew her mother, as she'd gotten sick after her birth, and passed away when Rose was only four years old. Because Rose barely remembers her mother, her death hasn't affected her very much, but it did make her dad a lot more protective of her. He was a strict parent, and, growing up, there were a lot of things that Rose wasn't allowed to do. Being so limited was frustrating for her, but she understood that her father was only doing what he thought was best, and that he was extra protective of her because she was his only family. Though there were occasional fights between the two, Rose and her father still developed a very close bond. When Rose, at the age of eight, brought home a dragon egg, her father was originally afraid for her safety, worrying that the creature would harm her; but when the egg hatched he was surprised to see that the dragon, Larkspur, was being gentle and caring towards Rose. Seeing how close of a friendship she was building with the dragon, he decided to let her keep it.

Originally, her father had wanted Rose to follow in his footsteps and become a politician, and for several years it looked like that was what she was going to do. As Larkspur grew, however, she became more and more interested in the world of dragons, and started asking if she could learn how to fly. At first he rejected the idea, claiming it was dangerous, but as time went on he saw how restless Rose and Larkspur were getting, and eventually he gave in. When Rose reached the age of eighteen he reluctantly gave her his blessing to go to the School of Dririam.

Sexuality: Heterosexual & Heteroromantic

Bow Description: A traditional recurve bow made of strong rosewood and a string made from a rare, springy type of silk. Flower patterns have been etched into the wood of the bow, and the ends are decorated in a few bright blue feathers that Larkspur has lost over time. The quiver is narrow and light, made of soft animal hide. It is worn on her belt instead of her back, and hangs at her right leg so that the arrows are easier to reach while she's riding on dragon-back.

Shield Description: Rose carries a metal shield that has a triangular, kite-shape, and is slightly smaller than average. It's light enough to be worn across her back when she's not using it. The shield is silver in colour with black edges, and it's embellished with her family crest: a raven with outstretched wings. It is obvious, however, that the shield is yet to see battle. There's not a scratch or dink to be found on it.

Armour Description: Because Rose is more experienced in archery and doesn't do much close-range fighting, her armour is made so that it does not restrict her speed or agility. Her armour is mostly made up of leather and chain mail, with a few light metal plates covering her shoulders and her chest. The leather on her skirt is layered to mimic dragon scales, and, like her bow, her shoulder plates are decorated with a few of Larkspur's feathers. Her armour is also brand-new, and is yet to be damaged.

Dagger Description: Though Rose doesn't use a sword, in the event that an enemy gets too close to her for her bow to be of any use, she keeps a dagger on her belt to defend herself with. The dagger is one of her dearest possessions, passed down in her family from generation to generation. The dagger has a smooth, slim blade, and the grip is wrapped in extravagant bear hide which has been dyed royal blue. It ends in a single, sharp point, perfect for piercing skin. There are a few small emeralds in the cross-guard of the dagger, and the blade itself has a raven engraved on it.

Dragon's Name: Larkspur

Special Ability: Along with the normal powers of a land dragon, Larkspur is able to generate electricity from her claws and the spike on the end of her tail, delivering a shock to any creature she can dig them into. When she opens her jaws she can create a ball of bright, white light that temporarily blinds her enemies (for a second or two). Instead of roaring, Larkspur produces more of a screeching sound, and at its loudest it can be rather jarring. When combined with her ability to create bursts of light it can cause a sensory overload for her opponents - and is good for defence.

Description of Dragon: Just over 10 years old, Larkspur still has a bit of growing to do. Currently, she's 20 feet long and 8 feet tall when measured at the shoulder. Her wingspan is double the length of her body, measuring a massive 40 feet long from tip-to-tip when outstretched. She slightly resembles a serpent, with a long body and neck and a slender, narrow head. She has a four, well-muscled legs, and five claws on each foot, which she can use to grab onto things. What sets Larkspur apart from other dragons is that, instead of scales, she's covered in electric blue feathers. Though the feathers darken slightly on her underside and the tips of her wings, they are mostly very bright, and have a glossy sheen in direct light. Her eyes are narrow and piercing yellow in colour.

She has two large, frilled crests on the top of her head which are made out of cartilage and dense fibrous flesh. These crests are twice the length of her head, and the feathers that cover them are even brighter blue than the rest of her body. These crests usually lie flat against her head, but she raises them when displaying aggression or dominance. She has a single, black horn in the middle of her nostrils, sitting atop her muzzle. This horn is too short to use as a weapon, and is there mostly to deter her opponents from biting at her face. What you really need to watch out for when fighting this dragon is her tail, which makes up half of her length. She uses her slender tail as a whip, and is especially dangerous because of the sharp, scythe-shaped spike at the end of it, which, like her claws, can deliver electric shocks.

Being covered in feathers means she isn't as well-armoured, but it makes her light and agile. She's an extremely swift dragon, and is able to make sharp twists and turns when flying.

Personality of Dragon: Exceptionally witty and intelligent, Larkspur displays a curiosity about the world around her that not many dragons have. She's constantly looking for new things explore and shows a particular interest in the inventions of humans. But, because she is so intelligent (and also happens to have a seemingly endless supply of energy), if she is not constantly mentally stimulated she gets bored, and becomes reckless. She's very playful with Rose, but always takes special care not to harm her in any way. If she thinks she's hurt Rose she'll feel guilty about it for the next couple days.

Name: Henry Lee Wilcox

Age: 16 (Birthday; August 13)

Appearance: Henry Wilcox is a fairly tall fellow for someone of his age, standing at roughly five feet ten inches. He has pale skin, and freckles haphazardly littered across his cheeks. Henry is lanky and skinny, a twig has probably more bulk on itself than his arms. He has messy blonde hair that never seems to lay flat, and bright blue eyes with speckles of deep golden around the rim of the iris. His mark is a single, seemingly bloodshot eye with no pupil or iris on his shoulder. It is relatively small, and can be covered up with regular sleeves, so Henry thanks God for that, as a tattoo of an just a bloodshot eye would sure get some stares.

Personality: Henry is flighty to say the least, it doesn't take much to spook the scrawny lad, although truely scaring him is a much harder task. Henry Wilcox is an energetic specimen , good for someone who has run from attacks during training. He is outgoing among others and very extroverted, someone to make friends quickly and plentifully, but only considering few close friends. It takes a lot to offend him, and he doesn't like bad blood and disputes among friends, arguments either. He is a peacemaker, and creative in his ways of getting people to cooperate, but never goes over-the-top, or at least to what he thinks is more than necessary.

Brief History: Henry Wilcox was brought up in an abusive household, his father being a constant drunk and taking it all out on his mother, who smoked one fourth of a pack a day to try and forget the pain, and his older brother, rarely Henry as he was a smart child, and knew to hide or shut up when his father was getting even slightly aggressive, as his temper commonly escalated fast. As the years went by, his father's situation worsened, until when Henry was thirteen, and his brother eighteen, their mother got up the courage to divorce her husband and move out. (The rest shall be revealed in roleplay!)

Sexuality: Asexual

Crossbow Description: Henry's crossbow is a standard, lightweight hand-crossbow, given to him when he signed up for the academy. It doesn't stand out from any other crossbow, other than it's much smaller and meant for quick reloading. It's accuracy isn't the best, but Henry makes do with what he was given. All in all, nothing special, Wilcox doesn't have the money to afford anything fancy.

Shield Description: Henry's shield is a regular metal buckler, meant for mobility and deflecting singular arrows or sword blows. As another advantage, it can also be used as an offensive weapon to punch with if truely desperate, but Wilcox doubts he will ever find himself in such a desperate situation.

Armor Description: Wilcox's armor, if you haven't guessed already, was given to him shortly after he joined the academy. It is standard, flexible leather armor with a chainmail shirt and collar for protection of the torso and neck if Henry ever happens to find himself in close-range combat.

Dragon's Name: Bill

Special Ability: Bill can open a pair of short-lasting portals(they only last about a minute) that can be placed on any surface within 200 feet of him. They can range from circles with five feet to fourty feet radius (Is it radii? I dunno). All should be cautious when dealing with portals, as for if a limb happens to be in a closing portal, such limb will be cleanly chopped off. The dragon also has the regenerative abilities to rival an axolotl's, managing to regrow limbs in two days. Well, it depends on where you chop off the limb, but that's detailed and this is supposed to be brief. Like a chicken, the anomaly can survive for half a month without it's head, wich is enough time for it to regrow, as long as the wound is not infected. Thus, entitling him to play with portals all he diddily-darn pleases, as long as he doesn't chop off too many limbs that is. Even things like this have a limit.

Description of Dragon: The first thing you notice about Bill, is that his short pelt is a bright, obnoxious yellow, comparative to that of a honeybee's fuzz. He stands around ten foot five inches, and is around thirty and a half feet long to the end of his sturdy tail. His feathered wingspan is fifty feet long, although commonly folded at his sides. Another odd thing about him is the dragon has only one eye, stretching across his face. No, said eye does not have iris or pupil, yet the yellow monstrosity can still see. He's a weird one, for sure. Seeing as he's full grown and has been for a while, and is still this short, one eye, and last but not least, his 'paws'. Six-digits padded and clawed, each paw(or hand, whichever you see it as) having an opposable thumb, spare for his hind paws. Those have only five digits, and were definately not meant to grip anything.

Personality of Dragon: Bill is cunning and intelligent, using his brains and the fact that most dragons when battling are bloodthirsty barbarians with some special powers to his advantage. Humans are even easier to manipulate, especiaslly if they're young, Bill finds. A lesson taught to him by good old Henry Wilcox when first bonded with him. In a fight, Decipher actually puts his assests to fair use, and his human's, of couurse. No, this is completely untrue, Bill couldn't give a flying rat's tail about Henry, as long as he stays alive. If you couldn't tell already, this creature is selfish and arrogant, although not entirely bad company. He knows how to crack a few jokes, but has a twisted and demented sense of humor.

Appearance: At a height of 6'4", Caspian has gotten used to being much taller than many of the people he meets. His build is slightly on the leaner side, though he has gained a fair amount of muscle from training with his dragon, Sorcha. He's fair-skinned and has rather attractive facial features. He has friendly, dark brown eyes, and a defined jawline which is usually complimented by a light stubble. There's a small scratch mark along his cheekbone, right under his left eye; a scar from a small mishap when he was a child. He does have glasses, but is farsighted, and only really wears them whilst he's teaching a class. His hair is chestnut brown in colour and is slightly curly. He never lets it get too long, keeping it at just the right length so that he can still style it. His mark is about three inches in length and located on the lower, right side of his neck, just above his collarbone. It's dark brown in colour, and resembles a flower.

Personality: Though Caspian can initially come off as intimidating because of his stature and height, he’s actually a very calming presence to be around. His teaching position at Dririam being his first proper job, he’s very passionate about his work. He is aware, however, that not all students find history the most exciting subject, especially alongside more hands-on classes such as flying and combat, so he’s always trying to make his topics as engaging and interesting as possible. He has a friendly, optimistic personality, and a genuine care for all of the students at the school. He’s perceptive to the emotions of others, and if he picks up that someone else is upset he’ll try his best to cheer them up.

While all of these personality traits may make it seem like Caspian is a social person, he considers himself as more of introvert. He’s an intelligent man – and very curious as well. He’s happiest amongst his books and, especially enjoys researching history and the biology of dragons. After social events he’ll usually want some time for himself, so don’t be surprised if he spends most of the day after a big party off somewhere with Sorcha. Though he’s had thorough training in combat, he disproves of violence, and is hesitant to fight. He only uses his sword as a last resort.

Brief History: The younger of two brothers, Caspian grew up in a well-respected family. They weren't extremely rich, but his father was a soldier, and although he was away often, whenever he came back he'd teach Caspian and his brother, Caleb, how to fight. Right from the beginning, it was clear that their father wanted them to follow in his footsteps and join the army. Caleb was all for it, and he threw himself into his training. Caspian, on the other hand, had doubts about which path he wanted to follow in life, and seemed to be more interested in his education. But when at the age of thirteen he found a dragon egg, his father saw it as a golden opportunity to get him a good placing in the army.

He invested large amounts of money to get Caspian and Sorcha a trainer who was experienced with dragons, so that they could properly train in combat together, and because his father had put so much into his training, Caspian was afraid to tell him that he didn't, in fact, want to fight to earn a living. Only four years later, when he was seventeen, did he finally break the news that he wanted to become a historian. Since he had been bonded to Sorcha he'd been doing research into the history of dragon riders, and became completely engrossed in it. It disappointed his father, but he didn't want to stop him from what he wanted to do. But then, many years later, Caspian was offered a job at the school in Dririam, which was an outcome that pleased both him and his father. Caspian got to follow his passions, and his father still felt that he was contributing something by training the future dragon riders for the army.

Sword Description: Caspian owns a fairly small, narrow, jagged sword which is made of iron. It is held by a grip wrapped in dull-looking, yet good-quality leather. It was clearly designed more for practicality than for its looks. The sword has a dual-edged blade, which often comes in handy during battle. The sword has a broad, straight cross-guard, adding weight to the blade for a better weight balance, as well as offering hand protection during fights. It's not visible from afar, but the blade of the sword has several markings etched into it, symbols that are meant to give Caspian strength in battle.

Shield Description: A forceful-looking, pointed heater shield made from metal. It's an agile safety guard, especially against bludgeoning and slashing attacks. The shield's edges are reinforced with small spikes, and it's embellished with golden paint. The shield has never gone to war, though it has a few small scratches on it which are barely noticeable; gained when training with it.

Armour Description: Caspian's armour is a mix of plate and leather. The helm is rounded and has an open face, covering him just up to his cheeks. They're decorated with rows of animal claws, all of them curved towards the back side. His upper arms are protected by rounded, layered rerebraces which sit quite well under his shoulder plates. His breastplate is made from many layers of small metal pieces, mimicking the scales of a fish. His lower legs are protected by greaves which have several small spikes covering them.

Dragon's Name: Sorcha

Special Ability: Sorcha's most dangerous weapons are her two snake-like fangs, which are capable of delivering large doses of venom. Her venom doesn't cause any pain to her unlucky victims, but it can make them extremely drowsy and will usually cause the infected creature to start seeing hallucinations. It takes her a while to generate this venom, and if she uses a lot of it she'll have to wait before being able to bite again. The larger her opponent, the more venom she'll have to use. Her other ability is more defensive. She makes up for her lack of spikes with unnaturally strong armour - her scales feel as hard as stone. Her skin is tougher than any shield.

Description of Dragon: At a length of a fair one-hundred feet, Sorcha would be considered to be a medium-sized dragon. However, though she has a very bulky, well-muscled build, she has short legs and is rather low to the ground for a dragon of her size, only coming up at fifteen feet tall at her shoulder. At an age of only thirteen, however, there is still a chance that she will grow more. In terms of her body shape, many would describe her as an overgrown skink (though with thicker legs), as she looks very lizard-like. She has a wide, flat body, and her head has a triangular shape. She looks extremely smooth; she doesn’t have a single horn or spike on her, and, as a water dragon, she doesn’t have any wings either. However, she has much stronger armour than other dragons, and if you were to touch her scales you’d find that they’re hard and rough.

Sorcha’s underside is a dark brown, almost black colour, but most people wouldn’t know that about her because it’s only visible when she’s lying belly-up. All the scales visible from the top of her body are varying shades of light brown. Her scales help to camouflage her, as, if she were lying on a beach, she’d probably be mistaken for a mound of sand. That is exactly how she hunts: waiting patiently on the sandy floor of the ocean for her prey to come close. Though she is a water dragon, she has no gills, only lungs, and while she can stay under water for several hours she’ll still need to come up for air eventually. Since she’s bonded to Caspian, she actually spends most of her time on land, only taking little breaks at different points during the day for a dip in the ocean.

Personality of Dragon: Calm and slow-moving, to many Sorcha would look like quite a lazy dragon. Like her rider, she's smart, but not many people know that she is, as she rarely interacts with anyone other than Caspian. Not even other dragons. What others might not realise, however, is that she's extremely observant. She never says anything, but she observes everything that goes on around her, taking in whatever information she can get. Despite her slow demeanour, she does have quite the temper on her, and if someone does something to upset her she can get aggressive, which is something Caspian is trying to work on with her.

Brief History: Kaska grew up in a small town in Mongolia, when at 7 years old she was kidnapped by pirate vikings. she then was saved by her dragonet, Thorskera. And she graduated from school and grew up to be a teacher in combat.
Appearance: Thin stomach area with a bony ribs, and a flame shaped gash on her forehead. Muscular arms and legs, with large olive-green eyes. Her hair is blue - black color. Kaska owes all her life to Thorskera, Her dragon, who saved her from viking pirates as a young child. Her skin is pale khaki. and she has broad, flushed out pink lips. she was also quite heavy, about 161 lbs.

Personality: Kaska is extremely serious and tough, and acted more like a man. She loved to watch her students grow and learn, although she did punish miss-behaving students. She was very clever when it came to combat and fighting and had a high temper. All her students mostly became amazing prospects in combat, and most won trophies.
Sword Description: A long, thin blade-like sword with a spade-shaped end and gold studded handle. It always seemed like it was made of newly made metal - but it was just because it was diamond coated with iron. The spade was narrowed to a whip-thin tip, and it was VERY deadly.
Shield Description: An 3-coated iron shield with a limestone rim. Engraved in the iron in the middle was, "Намайг туршина уу." Which means, "Try me, and die." In Mongolian.

Dragon Name: Thorskera
Dragon Description: A massive brunette-brown dragon, 43 feet tall and 174 feet long with peanut brown swirls and green twisted horns and leaf shaped spines covering his whole back, with venomous spurs tufted onto the spines. The shade of green was the color of a lime peel, with the color of lime fruit striped down the leaves. His snout curls like a beak, and he has a taupe-brown hole shaped mark on his chest. His legs have claws, but they are hidden under the poisonous spurs that curve as they reach his paws. He had a stocky build, massive claws, massive wings and massive, toothless jaws with a beak as sharp as a machete. He had fast reflexes, and was extremely strong. His tail was long and it narrowed to whip-thin end with the suction cup, his greatest defense. His body, unlike most dragons, was tall, wide, and thick. Kaska sat on the dragons neck when she rode him so she didn't get poked with the deadly spurs. His element was anonymous.
Dragon Powers/Extremities: Thorskera is immune to poison and has the colors of a tree, allowing him to blend into the forest, and his most deadly weapon is his tail. Itis narrowed to a flat curve, which had a disc shaped suction cup bared with spines which could spin, shredding even dragon scales. When doing this, he has to do it quickly, for he can only spin his tail for up to an hour before friction gets too intense for him to handle. His other attribute was his curved, sharp beak. That beak was stronger than diamond, it could snap one in half.
Dragon Petrsonality: Thorskera is a snarky dragon who often thinks for himself. in times of crisis, he will fight his hardest, but when he knows the opponent is better, he quickly saves Kaska's life by flying away. Her would sacrifice himself for Kaska, even if she'd been rude to him. Thorskera is strong-willed, passionate, friendly, and amazing in combat.
