Time of day: Weather: Warm day, with slight cloud cover MoonPride The pride was formed by Moonstar, a imposing and strong cat, together with his queen he leads the pride with strength and power. MoonPride rules over the territory surrounding the large lake, known by all living animals as the white lake. It received this name, because of its cover of white ice which covers it most year round. The pride has made its home under a large outcropping next to the lake, the outcropping looks over several large caves and bushes in which dens are located. Moonstar has always seen strength, as the number one thing and will not tolerate weakness. Ever since the king's death, Moonpride has received a new king, Emberstar. The pride is stronger than ever and will always be a pride, that lives by the claw. Ranks Description of Territory MoonPride lives beside the large lake, known by the simple name White Lake. MoonPride is filled with fierce and powerful cats. Ruled by a powerful leader, the pride does not allow weaklings to join their ranks. The pride has specialised in hunting in and beside the lake, offtain catching fish and other marine animals as prey. Description of Camp The center of Moonstar's clan is nestled between a cliff and a small mound. The warriors den is in the mound right next to the lake, it has many nests inside. The apprentice den is left of the camp entrance there are not nest, but the floor is covered in a thick layer of moss. The healers den is next to it, there is a stream originating from inside of the healers den. At the back of the healers den, is a cave system leading to the herb store and the Moonstone cave. The river flows through the entire camp, with a fallen tree serving as a connection between the two camp halves. The fresh-kill pile is nestled in between the healers den and the apprentice den, there is a smaller fresh-kill pile located between the elders den and nursery. Between the river and the king's and queen's den is a very large maple tree, this tree serves as the meeting tree. The king will often hold pride meetings from the largest and sturdiest branch on the tree. The kings and queens den is next to the healers den, this den is made up of two small caves. The bigger, at the front, serves as the leaders meeting den and the back den is covered in a thick layer of nest material and is the kings and queens privet den. The elders den is next to the leaders den, there is a big hole in the ceiling and provides a great sunning spot for the elders. The nursery is nestled between the elders den and next to the training area. There are two nest at the entrance of the nursery for the Boodmothers and two large nest in the back for den mothers. The entrance of the sandy training area is located between the Warriors den and Nursery, there is a big beech tree where the apprentices can learn how to climb and the area is right next to the lake. On one side the the camp is adjacent to the lake, the second side is protected by a sheer rock cliff, and the rest of the camp is protected by a thick juniper wall. (I will be redrawing the picture and posting it soon) -------------------- Events Shadow cats have appeared. Explore the territory for more possible encounters. "Its a much needed skill here, can't have you drowning because you could outcompete a small current." he added, turning only his eyes to look at his apprentice. His own pupil was bigger than he, that's embarrassing he thought to himself. Furrowing his brow a bit before fluffing up his coat nonchalantly- trying to make himself look bigger. He stood and began to pad closer towards the first and largest river to the southwest of the camp. Flicking his tail as a signal for Sandpaw to follow. They would scale the side of the cliff rather than going through the juniper wall and around camp, It would be another way Shrewpelt could test his apprentices skill- though, Shrewpelt wasn't much of a climber himself. Echofrost - Moonpride Healer - 2.2 Years Old - Maneless Piebald Lion - Location: Camp - Mentions: Flowerpaw, Open! Echofrost opened his sapphire eyes after another night with tossing and turning. He always seemed to have nightmares, never able to catch a good night's rest. He let out a massive yawn. He stretched out his tired limbs. His only wish was that he had been able to rest his mind properly. Getting up, the maneless lion looked around his den, seeing if anyone had disturbed its peace since his rest. He looked out, the sun had yet to rise properly, and the camp was quiet. Deciding that this was the perfect time for a little herb hunt, he quietly snuck out of camp. He returned after the sun had risen, his mouth full of herbs yet to be dried and sorted. The camp was bustling with life by now, apprentices out and clearly eager to learn. He paid them no interest however, instead heading to his den. He was pleased to see that Flowerpaw had settled herself just outside. "Good morning, I brought some herbs back from my before dawn walk. Identify them as we lay them out to dry." He instructed, bending his head and gently letting go of his bundle. He had gathered various herbs, including but not limited to; marigold, sorrel, burnet, chervil, borage, and thyme. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Goldencub | MoonPride Cub | 1 Month | Male Leoponger | Location: Nursery | Mentions: Cypressstar Goldencub's cries came to a halt as he heard somebody enter the nursery. He looked over, and there was his mother, Cypressstar. The cub purred as he watched her come over and lay down, wrapping him in a warm nuzzle. He gave out a tiny sigh of satisfaction as he felt himself begin to warm up. Then everything came to a stop as he heard a tiny rumble come from his stomach, he was still hungry. Goldencub gave a whiney growl, softly pawing at Cypressstar's side. He looked up at her, his little face had a grumpy frown on it and his eyes gave the usual feed me look. 0 players like this post! It was quite humiliating to say the least, and to make matters worse Snowpaw was there to see it all! "Your laughing now! But you wouldn't be if it was you who fell in!" He joked, giving the snow leopard another nudge. The cheetah felt instantly better when Sandpaw suggested they go train, and nodded his head eagerly. It wasn't everyday they were given the opportunity to go and spar with an older apprentice, like Sandpaw. "That sounds exciting! My legs need a good stretching anyway." Runningpaw opened his mouth to speak again, but shit it quickly as Snowpaw ran out into the clearing. The young male gave a shrug to his clanmates before racing off after his friend. It only took a few paw steps to catch up and pass Snowpaw, and as he did the apprentice let out a victorious laugh. It wasn't long before he left his friends in the dust and made it to their set destination. "Now that we all finally made it, what should we start off with first?" Runningpaw asked, tilting his head. "Maybe you could show us-" The Tom was cut off as Shrewpelt came and joined the three apprentices. And before he knew it, Sandpaw and Shrewpelt had left to go training. Leaving him and Snowpaw alone. The cheetahs fur bristled as he watched his d3puty and friend fade into the distance. "I guess it's just you and me now." He said with a shrug. "So why don't we start?" Runningpaw could feel his heart thumping rapidly against his chest, making him feel nervous. | Emberstar | Moonpride king | 6 years old | Male tiger | Location: camp | Mentions: Cypressstar, Addercub, Goldencub, and Snowpaw, open | Emberstar returned his mates affections and gave her head a gentle lick. The large feline made sure no cat was paying them any attention before finally speaking, "Good morning my love, how have you been feeling?" He wished that their den was big enough for all of them to fit in, but sadly it wasn't. With a silent sigh, he made himself comfy. Once he saw that Cypressstar was eating, Emberstar began to give her pretty pelt a proper grooming. The sound of a fussy cub soon reached the two felines ears, and before he could blink Cypressstar was on her paws and in the nursery. The king couldn't help the small smile that formed on his muzzle, she was such a loving mother. At the leopons request, he grabbed what was left of the rabbit and padded inside the nursery. His tail lashed in annoyance as three apprentices came rushing into then out of the clearing, and Snowpaw nearly crashed into him. Emberstar ignored it for now and went inside to join his mate. The tiger settled down next to his family and gave his cubs a quick inspection. "Their all so beautiful like You," He purred, giving each of his cubs a lick. A smirk came to his face as he watched Goldencub squirm towards his mother for food, "Goldencub is pretty determined for his age." Her tail lashed from side to side as she made her way to the Freshkill pile. Picking out a thin arctic hare, she began wondering how he sister and her kittens were doing. She took a bite of the hare thoughtfully. Hadn't she just given birth to them recently? The Leoponess could not even remember. Her onyx, white, and dark-rose-colored pelt shivered from the cold as she finished her meal. (Hey, everyone, I might have to go on hiatus from the roleplay soon. Instead, she focused on her sister's orders. Wasn't she supposed to be taking out Snowpaw and Runningpaw out on patrol today? Staring down at Falconcry, she was secretly envious of his thick fur. And she was here shivering. She let out a small huff of annoyance. "How's that rat you have there?" She asked gruffly, shifting her gaze from him onto the rodent. "Tasty?" She brought her paw up to groom it, but as soon as she stuck her tongue out, it started to sting from the sheer cold. 0 players like this post! Like? |

She grunted, the bones of her last meal still sitting in front of her paws. Cherryshadow patted a small hole in the snow, nipped the skull, and placed the skeleton into the hole. She gingerly covered it wih the loosened snow. After she buried it, she sat in the freezing atmosphere for moments longer before she got to her paws in search of Snowpaw and Runningpaw. Muttering curses, she called their names. "Snowpaw? Runningpaw? We three were assigned a patrol." Her jade-colored eyes stared out into the distance where she thought she saw the snow leopard and his companion. Sitting down as she waited for them, she stuck out her cold tongue again and groomed her freezing, white paws. The cold stung her tongue again, but she knew that they were filthy and needed to be cleaned before they got an infection. 0 players like this post!
