 This thread is part of the Ilanga’s Adoptions clan, although anyone can adopt cubs here. Please check it out, we’d love to have some new members! You are still welcome to request cubs, but keep an eye out for future changes! Welcome! This is one of Lioden’s longest-existing cub adoption threads, created in October 2018. It has since expanded into multiple shelters and a clan. It’s named after the owner’s first broodmother, Ilanga. All of the cubs here are free for the taking, as long as they are marked as “Adoptable”. All you have to do is write a quick roleplay, even if it’s just a couple sentences long. Once you’ve read the rules, you can speak to one of the broodmothers at the adoption center and let them know which cub(s) you would like! Rules -Please DO NOT kill/tree/sell a cub you get from us! They are looking for permanent homes. -You can adopt as many cubs as you like! Just make sure that you can actually care for all of them. -To make things easier for us, please specify the name of the shelter or broodmother you are adopting from in your roleplay. -You don’t need to include a link to the cub, just their name. -We generally have a first-come, first-serve policy, but if someone puts more effort into their roleplay or message, we might choose them instead. -Please do not argue with the decision of a shelter owner. However, if you have a problem (such as a cub not arriving, or receiving the wrong cub), don’t be afraid to reach out to us! -If you break the rules, we may prevent you from adopting a cub here in the future. -We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Born during the poaching season, Vikela lost many of her family and friends to vicious attacks when she was just a cub. She witnessed firsthand the deaths of countless cubs, and made it her mission to protect as many as she could in the future. She trained as a warrior alongside the pride’s other guards before becoming a broodmother, and as a result, she can seem quite tough and intimidating at first sight, especially to outsiders, who she distrusts. However, despite being a bit overprotective at times, she is popular among her pride and a hero to the cubs she raises. Once you’ve gained her trust, she will be loyal until her last breath.
Despite being an elderly lioness, blind in one eye and beginning to lose her hearing, Khatiba is as sharp as ever. She may not be as fast as she used to be, but she keeps a watchful eye on the playing cubs from her resting spot. When they grow tired of running and wrestling, they gather around her to hear one of her stories. She loves to tell the cubs about legends passed down through the generations, of vicious battles and ancient gods. She is gentle and kind, balancing out Vikela’s fiery energy. You may have met her daughter Kuhle at the clan’s stockpile.
Amina is a very trustworthy lioness. She would die before she saw any of the cubs she protected be harmed. Her goal in life is to find a good home for each and every cub she can. She is confident, kind, and most important to her, gentle. If any cub gets hurt in her presence she will be sure to rush to it and care for it to the best of her ability. Though she may get suspicious of some lions, she does her best to trust every lion and lioness she comes across.

He stood tall and looked around one last time and felt sorry for the cub .He looked at the broodmother "may i also have that cub? my queen will raise her to be a figher, to be strong" he said proudly.He remembered the time he was a cub he needed a guide that had helped him get to where he was now,a leader of a growing pack. 0 players like this post! While she waited for the response about the cub, Ice, the powerful looking queen, Deltarune, wandered over to another cave, this one reading as Nyumbani. She took a look around and spotted three cubs that she saw as fit pride members, so she confidently walked over to a broodmother, Vikela, to inquire about the cubs I am searching for more beautiful cubs to take in for my pride and a few have caught my eye. I would like to take in Hurricane, Martian, and Pluto 0 players like this post! Like? |

[Cool, thanks!] Ghostscar walked into the shelter once again, curious to find a new heir/male to add to his pride. He walked into the Nyumbani shelter once more. Seeing all of the beautiful cubs made his heart warm up from all of the fighting and scars. Normally, he’d pick another lioness but this male really caught his eye.. Thunder. After making his final decision, he walked up to one of the broodmothers. “Hello,” he said, bowing in honor. “Is Thunder by any chance available for adoption? @WintersMoonlight Vikela considered the lioness for a moment before deciding that she could be trusted. “Alright,” she said. “You may take them. I’m sure they’ll do well in your pride.” @LeafAlli Recognizing the familiar lion, Vikela allowed herself to relax. “He is,” she said. “I’m glad to see him go to a good home. It’s so hard for young males to find a pride to live with.” (@Kellogg once you’ve decided what cub or cubs you want, just write a quick roleplay of your king or one of your other lions asking the broodmother at that shelter for them! You can see each shelter by clicking on the name of it, and the names of the broodmothers are listed below that. If you need ideas for what to say, you can look through other posts on this thread for examples. Also, most of the shelter owners, myself included, are willing to give cubs to people even if they just send a quick PM instead of roleplaying on the thread if you’d rather do that  Hope this helped!) 0 players like this post! Khatiba glanced up at the visitors. She slowly rose to her paws, stretching. “A good hunter, you say?” She looked around, thinking back to yesterday’s training session with the cubs. “Tansy’s skills are coming along quite well. Fanaa padded into Shelter Nyumbai, looking around curiously. Seeing all the cubs and young lions enjoying their time there, he let out a deep purr. Wanting to give a lioness a chance at a new life, his eyes scanned the shelter. “Excuse me, who is the oldest lioness here? I want to make sure that even the older ones can have a home.
