Night pointed her nose to the skin and took in a deep breath through her nose. She couldn't smell impala but she did catch a whiff of zebra.
"Change of plans, we're going for zebra." Night followed the scent making sure she wasn't going to scar anything away. She followed the scent a little way until they say them. The zebra grazed the grass. There was a whole herd of them casually grazing. Night looked back to Red who eyed them hungrily. Night looked over to Okala. "Alright, Okala, you go left. Red, you do right. I'll go straight. We go for that zebra." Her eyes trained to the zebra that was a few feet away from its herd. It was gradually getting closer to them trying to find a good spot to eat. "Red, do you think it's a good one?" Red may not be the best hunter, but she was very good at identifying what type it was.
"Zebra, female, full grown, seems like its getting on the old side. Should be able to take it down pretty easily. Has a limp, you can see the scar on its right leg that slashes down. Add by the way it walks funny." Red spoke in a hushed voice as to not scare the zebra herd away.
"Alright, get to your positions. When I jerk my head you go." Both Night and Red got to their positons.

Okala quickly nodded, and headed left, making sure to keep her paw-steps light. She closed in carefully, looking at Red and Night, almost asking to go after it, though she waited. The poor zebra must've lived a long life already, which was better for Okala's conscious. She growled lightly, and padded even closer, making sure if it ran, it'd be caged.

Night, Red, and Okala surrounded the zebra. Night jerked her head and ran. She had crept behind it and chased it away from its herd. The rest of the herd bellowed and ran the other way. But Night trained her eyes on the one they had surrounded. She raced after it her paws pounding into the ground.

Red saw Night jerk her head She ran for it. Red saw it running. She growled and sped up pounding her paws into the ground making her go at an incredible speed. She nipped at the zebra's legs chasing it right towards Okala.

Okala ran out into the open from where she was, and with a strong jump, quickly pounced onto the zebra's back. The zebra stumbled, but hadn't gone down yet. She was already panting, as it seemed to have a hidden strength.

"Need some help over here!" She growled, struggling to keep her grasp on the zebra. She dug her claws into its back, and bit into it.

Night ran and threw herself at the zebra slowing it a little. She clawed it thighs and tried to get a better hold on it. She was slipping though. The zebra was still running even if it was getting slower and weaker. Red ran past the zebra and then leaped grabbing its throat. Night felt the zebra start to stumble.

Okala released her grip, before readjusting it on the zebra's neck. It fell down, allowing them to get a better grip. Okala backed away, her muzzle red. "Good hunting!" She said with a small smile to the others.

Red nods licking the blood for her mouth.
"Good hunting. Now we gotta drag this back." Night laughs thinking of the three of them dragging it back.
"Well duh." Red chuckled standing up. Night stretched out her paws and looked at the zebra.
"We did well today." Night spoke licking some blood off her paws.

Okala nodded, "I agree! This will definitely feed the pride for a bit..." She looked at the large zebra, frowning now, and her ears flicking backwards. "Night... you're definitely right... this is going to be a pain to bring back now that I think about it." She licked her muzzle and looked back towards where the camp was.

Xena yawned, smelling fresh Zebra. Her ears perked up trotting toward the scent, about a mile off. Approaching the lionesses, she smiled.

"Hello there." , she slightly nodded her head in recognition. "Would you like some help with that fresh kill?".

She asked this question in almost a motherly way, being kind and hospitable.

Okala turned to Xena, her face lighting up. "Sure!" She turned to Red and Night. "What do you think?"
