OOc Thread Here! In a time of Great Sorrow, the land of Pyrrhia is thrown into turmoil....The assassination of two of Pyrrhia's dragon queens has sent the land into turmoil. An assassin on behalf of the former NightWing queen slaughtered both the RainWing and the SandWing queens - hungry for power, the SkyWings and Mudwings allied with the Nightwings in the Queen's quest for more power, fighting against the Seawings, Sandwings, RainWings, and Icewings.. The bloodthirsty NightWing queen's reign ended with her death, but the damage had already been done; the war rages on. Hybrids are being slaughtered left and right, eggs are being stolen from hatcheries; every dragon lives in fear as the bloodiest war in Pyrrhia's history wages outside their homes. Meanwhile, there have been reports of scavengers killing more and more dragons each year - the creatures they had never imagined as a threat were starting to fight back against them. Desperate to save her land, her tribe, and her lover, an icewing/seawing hybrid, Queen Bermuda sought the help of a Nightwing seer. He foretold that only seven hatchlings, one from each tribe, could help unite the seven dragon tribes and bring peace to the land. How, however, he could not say - and so, driven to exhaustion, Queen Bermuda stole an egg from the hatchery of each kingdom and hid them in a secret place. She can only hope that the seer had been right- she is close to death, and the land she so desperately loves is close to going up in flames...… -------------------------- Rules-You can have as many characters as you like, provided that you can roleplay with them all. If you make one and then decide you don't want to use them anymore, we can find a way to remove them from the roleplay (ex: killing the character, chasing them off, etc.) -Please no animus characters. :) -Please ask before designating any characters as a princess, king, or anything similar if the tribe already has a queen. Please ask the person in question who is playing the queen. :) -The roleplay will start when we have all the prophecy dragonets. You can have more than one. -Be nice! :) Anyone is allowed to join this roleplay as long as you follow this rule. As the Rainwing returned her greeting, Solstice turned to Serac, nodding at his question. "That would be ideal." She chuckled, rotating her good wing. She would eventually have to get her broken one looked at, she decided. She turned towards her general, looking him over before deciding that he was able to fly over the wall. "Take your soldiers back and get them looked at by the medics." Normally he would have protested at his Queen sending him away when there was a pack of strange dragons from another tribe in the vicinity, but he was so exhausted that he didn't comment, simply giving her a weak bow and turning to his soldiers. Solstice's attention was now back on the Rainwings as she studied them, wondering. ----- Bermuda watched her daughter's eggs hatch with a smile on her face, keeping a small distance between herself and them as best as she could - she didn't want to interrupted Jade as she greeted her new dragonets. However, she soon noticed the crestfallen look on her daughter's face, and she moved closer, peering down at the egg Jade was looking over. Dread filled her stomach, and she leaned down slightly, nudging the egg ever so softly with her snout. It's dead. She concluded to herself, but she didn't say that to Jade. Instead, she nudged her gently with her nose, offering comfort - she had been through this before during her lifetime, and she knew no words sufficed to help her cope with the loss. 0 players like this post! Jade gave her mother the same miserable look, hanging her head slightly. She sighed inaudibly, blowing bubbles from her snout. Her stripes seemed to pulsate slightly, glowing dim then growing bright again. She watched the three hatched dragonets, her eyes filled with pride. She looks at the egg sadly, shaking her head. " 'He'll never see the light...' " She flashed her stripes miserably, watching her three other dragonets with a sad sort of pride. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Bermuda sighed softly, feeling Jade's sadness as her own. "I'm sorry, little one." She watched her daughter carefully, staying as close to her as she could without overcrowding her. If she wanted her to leave, she would, but for now, she would stay here. She peered down as one of the tiny dragonets approached and started chewing on her talons. She chuckled a little, peering down to look at the small dragonet, blowing bubbles at it playfully. ------- Scorpius gave Koala a smile, until he realized it was probably the goofiest, dumbest smile he had ever given anybody. Once again, if he could blush, he would have. He wiped the grin off of his face and internally cursed himself for being a dork before he spoke, "I was hoping you would stay." He admitted, giving him another, less stupid smile. His head turned to focus on the other two Rainwings, wondering how, exactly, they were planning on overpowering Trunk. The idea kind of made him nervous, to say the least. "I don't know whether we should help them, or not." He mumbled out loud, frowning. He didn't want to get in their way, as Mango knew what she was doing, and he definitely didn't want Koala to get hurt, but at the same time, just leaving them would make him feel guilty. 0 players like this post! Koala flushed the colors of a hibiscus, before taking Scorpius by the talons and gliding downwards, towards the massive stone-floor-made-map, and landed. He poked his talons onto the dot that was Trunk, before looking up. “This’ll be where my mother is heading, to get the mad animus. We need to get to him before Mango does, to make sure she doesn’t kill him. She’s too protective, and would kill any soul who made me or my brother angry or sad. We need to convince Trunk to come with us, after we stop by my mothers home. She’s got stuff we'll need in there.” He stopped and stood up. “Am I going too fast? ~Random NPC messenger that Jade sent out to find Dreamwalker~ Jade's messenger was on the beach, looking/calling for Dreamwalker, saying they had a message for him from Princess Jade. ----- Jade smiles faintly as Colchis began to chew on her mother's talons, seeing her mother chuckle silently. She kept looking at the door, as if waiting for something. She frowns slightly, looking at Bermuda with a sheepish sort of expression. " 'Mother...' " She started, her stripes flashing as she continues. " 'I... I promised Dreamwalker he could meet the dragonets when they hatched... I know you don't really approve of him, but... I hope that's alright...?' " She asked with her stripes, her face hopeful but still kinda sad and a little scared. To prove what she meant, she pulls out a strange sort of basket from a small hidden hatch beisde the nest. It was obviously once made for transporting supplies, but had been modified slightly to carry small dragonets or unhatched eggs. She sets it between her talons, getting a soft squeak from Snowdream as her daughter wriggled out of the way. ----- Snowdream wriggled out of the way as her mother set down the basket. She floated there for a minute, a few stripes lighting up in confusion, when she saw Bermuda. She swam over hesitantly, her eyes looking up at the queen shyly. Then she began noticing some of her mother's features in Bermuda, and she seems to brighten up. She climbs onto Bermuda's head, and settles between her horns, yawning softly. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Scorpius frowned a little, before shaking his head. "No, I understand. I'm just not quite certain whether convincing him to go anywhere is in the cards. He might kill us before listening to us." He expressed. "We can't trick him - I assume he would be a little too hard to trick." He was frowning deeply again, thinking. "Where is your mother's home? I assume it is in the Rainwing kingdom? Or somewhere close?" ----- Bermuda sighed a little, eyes inspecting the basket Jade was holding. "I would feel better if someone accompanied you, if I am honest. They don't have to listen to your conversation with him or get involved - I'm not certain whether a Seawing princess and her dragonets would be safe outside the palace alone." She explained, shifting nervously while attempting to explain that she didn't see Dreamwalker as the only threat - sure, she didn't trust him, but at the same time, she didn't think Jade going out alone without protection was a very good idea. She was momentarily distracted by one of her little grandchildren climbing onto her head. Bermuda snorted playfully, leaning her head down slightly so her chin almost touched the floor of the room - her eyes crossing slightly as she smiled and looked up at the little one who had now decided to sit on her head. 0 players like this post! Serac nodded, beating his wings heartily and spiraling into the air. The icewing winged his way upwards, stopping a few feet from the Rainwing group. "Halt and descend." He snarled, "Or don't, and our Wall will take care of you." A warm feeling rose in his chest, unlike the bite of anger or frostbreath, it felt strange and right to refer to the icewing wall and kingdom as his or theirs. Serac smirked, hissing. ~Random Npc Messenger~ The messenger explains to Dreamwalker that Princess Jade's eggs had just hatched.. but, sadly, one had died before hatching. But, the Princess said she'd like to meet him here on the beach whenever he had time, and that she'd meet him here with her children. ----- Jade saw her mother's anxious look, and she sighs quietly, flashing her stripes again. She understood her mother's concern, seeing as Dreamwalker had hurt her once a long time ago. " 'I'll be ok, mother. But, if you want, I could take two or three guards with me, if it makes you more comfortable.' " She signaled silently, and she quietly whistled for her children to come. As she waited, she settles the unhatched egg carefully into the basket, staring at it a moment, before waiting for her dragonets. ----- Snowdream lifted her head sleepily at her mother's call, and she stretched, jumping off her grandmother's head and swimming to her mother. She lit up some stripes, not understanding. " '.....Going?.....' " She signaled, pointing to the basket. When her mother nodded, Snowdream seemed to shrug, and climbs obiediently into the basket, and waits quietly for her brother and sister. She was careful not to bump the egg in the basket, which her mother was - for some reason - bringing along as well.. 0 players like this post! Like? |
