OOc Thread Here! In a time of Great Sorrow, the land of Pyrrhia is thrown into turmoil....The assassination of two of Pyrrhia's dragon queens has sent the land into turmoil. An assassin on behalf of the former NightWing queen slaughtered both the RainWing and the SandWing queens - hungry for power, the SkyWings and Mudwings allied with the Nightwings in the Queen's quest for more power, fighting against the Seawings, Sandwings, RainWings, and Icewings.. The bloodthirsty NightWing queen's reign ended with her death, but the damage had already been done; the war rages on. Hybrids are being slaughtered left and right, eggs are being stolen from hatcheries; every dragon lives in fear as the bloodiest war in Pyrrhia's history wages outside their homes. Meanwhile, there have been reports of scavengers killing more and more dragons each year - the creatures they had never imagined as a threat were starting to fight back against them. Desperate to save her land, her tribe, and her lover, an icewing/seawing hybrid, Queen Bermuda sought the help of a Nightwing seer. He foretold that only seven hatchlings, one from each tribe, could help unite the seven dragon tribes and bring peace to the land. How, however, he could not say - and so, driven to exhaustion, Queen Bermuda stole an egg from the hatchery of each kingdom and hid them in a secret place. She can only hope that the seer had been right- she is close to death, and the land she so desperately loves is close to going up in flames...… -------------------------- Rules-You can have as many characters as you like, provided that you can roleplay with them all. If you make one and then decide you don't want to use them anymore, we can find a way to remove them from the roleplay (ex: killing the character, chasing them off, etc.) -Please no animus characters. :) -Please ask before designating any characters as a princess, king, or anything similar if the tribe already has a queen. Please ask the person in question who is playing the queen. :) -The roleplay will start when we have all the prophecy dragonets. ~Random NPC Messenger~ The messenger nodded, and with a quick twist they jumped into the sea to go back to the palace to tell Princess Jade Dreamwalker's response. ----- Snowdream chirped softly as Colchis dropped into the basket beside her. She snuggles close as they wait for Seastar to pay attention and swim over. The young hatchling, not even a few hours old, was wondering where they were going. Maybe to see their father? No. She figured not, since her father had not been around during their hatching.. ----- The messenger arrived a few minutes later, and gave Jade Dreamwalker's reply. After doing so,the messenger bows to her and the queen, before hastily swimming off. ----- Jade smiles slightly after the messenger leaves. She couldn't wait to show Dreamwalker her dragonets, wondering faintly what he'd think of them. One by one her three hatchlings climbed into the basket. Now, she just needed Seastar, and three guards, and she'd be ready to go see Dreamwalker. She calls in some with a loud but slightly muffled sound, and she got slowly from the nest. " 'I'll be back soon, mother. I promise.' " She flashed her stripes, and gives her mother an awkward hug before slowly swimming out the door - and grabbing Seastar as she passed - with her guards, and disappearing down the hall. Colchis burbled and tackles his sister, thwapping her with his many-shaded blue wings, lighting up the weak stripes along his spine. Looking closer, he could almost pass for a SeaWing if he kept his back spines flat and kept his wings close to his sides. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Snowdream giggled softly, and playfully shoves her brother off. She then remembers the unhatched egg (Was it late hatching? She thought faintly), and she stops, turning to Colchis with a tiny frown. She faintly lights her stripes, almost accurately signalling 'Careful'. She turns to the egg again, and curls up next to it. Her violet eyes watched it in confusion. Why wasn't their brother hatching? Then she wondered.. how did she know it was a male? 0 players like this post! Like? |

(Ik, but i feel sad cuz of the bab being ded.. even if it was my plan :'D)) Snowdream pokes the dead, black talon with her paw, whimpering softly as she carefully uses her front paws to break off small pieces until the small, fragile body fell out. It was curled up but limp in the basket as it lay still in the bottom half of the eggshell. She chirps sadly, poking it gently with her nose. She gives a quiet, muffled wail, trying to wake up her dead brother. Snowdream gives a sad, defeated cry, curling up beside the broken egg and lifeless body with closed eyes... then, she noticed a cover form ove rthe top of the basket, and she whimpers, curling up into a smaller ball. ----- As Jade's head broke the surface of the water, looking around for Dreamwalker, she noticed what was going on with the hatchlings. She makes a soft, sad, and purring like sound, nuzzling them gently. She'd have to tell them eventually.. Meanwhile, a sort of cover formed over the top of the basket, sort of like a soft but very tough mesh screen. Jade climbs out of the water and onto the sand, shaking water from her scales. Then, she calls out hesitantly as she keeps the hatchlings hidden in the basket for now, calling Dreamwalker's name. "Dreamwalker? A-Are you still here?" 0 players like this post! Like? |

Dreamwalker pulled out of the tree line, eyes meeting Jades. “Yes, I’m here.” He hesitated, before coming closer. “The messenger said that the eggs hatched, are they okay?” Colchis burbled sadly, before flapping down to Snowdream and poking the still black shape, curling his wings around her and the limp shape. 0 players like this post! Jade smiles slightly, and she nodded. She walks a little closer, fluttering her wings as her tail swished slowly in the sand. "Yes. Three healthy hatchlings. Two females and a male." She said, a hint of pride in her voice. She pulls back the cover on the basket and nudges Snowdream and Colchis. "Say hello, little ones. This is my.. friend, Dreamwalker." Her voice caught at the word friend, though she couldn't understand why. ----- Snowdream pokes her head up hesitantly, looking around at all the yellow-white sand and bright sunlight, her white scales and lavender eyes seeming to reflect the light. Her gaze lands on Dreamwalker, and she stops, staring at him curiously. She then opens her mouth, and gives a light chirp in greeting. So this was her mama's friend? Well, if her mother liked him, then he was her friend too. ----- Jade chuckles at Snowdream's response, and waited for Colchis to say hello. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Dreamwalker held out a cautious talon to Snowdream, black-green eyes glittering with curiosity. Colchis suddenly sneezed a burst of glittering, freezing air, and he burbled at his mother happily. He ducked back into the basket, holding the limp black shape by one talons, with it's wings draped over him back. He rolled his sibling on the sand with a burbled, and thwapped the body with his wings. Dreamwalker stared at the body with a mixture of fear, disgust, and confusion. 0 players like this post! Jade noticed this, and she quickly picks up the limp body of the hatchling, holding it to her chest. She picks up Colchis with her empty paw, and places him back in the basket. Then she turns to Dreamwalker to explain about the dead hatchling. "It... *a soft sigh*... he never made it... he was dead when he hatched, and when I remembered how you didn't like hybrids who looked anything like a Nightwing, I... I wanted to bring him so I could explain..." Her voice was quiet, choked up almost. She carefully places the baby back into the half of the egg that was still solid, and nuzzles Colchis and Snowdream, Seastar sleeping through all of it. "This," She points to Seastar. "is Seastar. She's the firstborn. Then there's Colchis, the second born," She then points at Colchis, nudging him affectionately with her nose. Then she places her talon on Snowdream. "This.. this is Snowdream. Bet you can't guess who part of her name is named after." She chuckles nervously, chirping softly at Snowdream. ----- Snowdream saw Dreamwalker's reaction to the limp body, and she chatters at him.
