The Kobalos is less aggressive as you move more confidently, she watches you move and begins to growl more loudly as you reach down into the container with the treats. Her teeth bare, even as you approach with the treat open-handed. She snaps at your hand as you move to offer the treat to her...

You set the treats down and sit by them. Close enough that she can sniff you without possibly losing a limb in the process. She circles around in front of you... taking a few steps in before retreating one and coming in again. Progress, by the way she holds herself in much more relaxed posture. She moves in and nips at one of the treats in easy reach, slipping it from underneath the cage. Progress indeed.

She flinches at your movement, but remains there and eating the treat. As your hand gets closer she begins to growl but allows the movement thus far. Right. Steady does it... You can just barely touch her fur... Its soft. Surprisingly so on a Kobalos that seems so... well... prickly. She's still growling, but is allowing you to touch her. You get a sneaking suspicion that it is now... or never. It's time. So. What will you do?

The kobalos flinches slightly... but allows it. You open the cage and it comes to sniff at your feet. It would seem you've got a long road of training with this one...

The speaker behind you blares to life, "Uh... I'll be there in a jiff. Just gotta run to go get the paperwork!" The sound cuts out and leaves you with your Kobalos... well then. What will you call her?
