But I've got some questions about the roleplay, sorry if its a lot :')

1. How long has it been since the fall of humanity? How long have people been living like this? What caused it? What did the remaining human societies do in response? (A lot of people think that, if a zombie virus ever broke out, governments would start bombing quarantine check points and other such things like that.)

2. What system do they use? Barter/Trade System? Currency?
(I'd assume there's farms and scavenged canned goods that they can use for Nourishment.)

3. What does the setting look like for each group? Where do they live and how do they live? How do they survive? Are they doing well as a group, or are they falling apart? Or is that for us to decide?

4. Is there still things that get scavenged? Things like weapons, scrap, canned goods, etc etc. And what weapons do people use? Guns, blades?

5. How do the groups interact? Do they have a set view of each other (ofc the humans got beef, but-). How close are they to each other? Borders? Deals? Treaties?


Thats all i can think about for now. I dont think any of this has been covered, as I've read everything a couple of times over, but I don't doubt I've missed things! Anyone else got questions too? I'm extremely interested in this world already! A neat concept.

TL;DR: A wall of text because I stink at plots. Hope this covers your questions at least a tiny bit.

It has been quite a few generations since the fallout, I'll just throw in a random number and say at least 500 years. It was caused by conflict between humans (ofc) that turned into a nuclear war which deadened a lot of the world, resulting in anarchy which further weakened the civilizations and eventually cryptids took over the dead areas, waning the number of humans until they're few and far between (at least on this continent of the world).

Huge grey area because plot holes

They no longer have an electric grid and live in a very primitive style, they often make their own weapons via metalsmithing or restoring weapons that have been kept for generations. They do use guns in human settlements, though they're only a few and not enough to go on the attack or make a serious dent in any other settlement, they're mostly used for defense. Crafts and resources are the main "currency" of sorts, they do scavenge from time to time but the immediate area surrounding all three settlements has mostly been wiped clean so it would be quite a trek to the next nearest abandoned town or city to scavenge and anything there would be quite decrepit at this point. They mostly hunt in the surrounded woods for food and gather herbs and resources there, it is quite dangerous though.

The humans live in a city in the midst of a forest and the Onai and Copac settlements live in the forest on either side, none of them have a strict territory besides the immediate area surrounding their establishments and run into one another quite often. The city is quite crumbling and overgrown, the humans mostly live in wooden houses and huts inside the walls. The cryptids live in more town-like establishments and have their own sets of walls to keep out the non-humanoid cryptids, though they are more likely to go out into the forest than humans are. The humans aren't so much aggressive as they are afraid of the two cryptid groups, the shapeshifters are pretty neutral in all of their interactions and the werewolves are known to stick to their own, though they will kill humans and shifters if the opportunity arises.

I would say out of all the groups the werewolves are the most prosperous though the shapeshifters aren't far behind and can definitely hold their own, the humans are being picked off little by little and are teetering on the edge of either becoming grounded or finally falling apart.

I apologize for the vague introduction, I had this much more fleshed out when I thought it up but I ended up destroying that and making it a lot shorter because I decided I hated the original plot. Most of this I've come up with on the spot and I'm more than happy to listen to plot ideas or changes if anyone has any, though I'm also interested in some plot points being developed during roleplay.
