The same thoughts echo from pride to pride, the sentiment surely came up in yours. Even a cub like you heard plenty of tales mentioning lions who intrude upon your pride's lands to steal prey, bring illness, and cause all manner of trouble. They belong to no pride, and the fault is always their own. They're chased out because they're cruel, sickly, or dangerous, words you never need to question until you wander a little too far and stumble upon one on your own.

There's a little cub drinking from the waterhole at the edge of your pride's lands. It's about the same age as you, but significantly smaller. Should you approach it? Be friendly? Chase it out? You don't have time to think about that. There's footsteps approaching the two of you and you quickly hide in the bush at the approach of what you assume to be its mother. It's not. There's a large, spotted hyena looming over the cub, and suddenly you remember your elder's warnings about going so far on your own. There's a sense of dread within you as the beast's muzzle lowers to the little ball of fur, but they only nuzzle in greeting. The hyena picks it up as if it was one of her own cubs, and hurriedly carries it off and away from your lands.

Very relieved to have survived an encounter with a predator, you run back home as fast as your small legs can carry you. Distraught, you tell your family about what you witnessed. They seem doubtful until someone returns from patrol, stating they've found the scent of a hyena in the area, but lost it at the river. Your pride seems convinced the cub was stolen from a rogue, and likely eaten by now. Security is tighter for a while, the patrols are done in pairs for a month, but no one comes searching. The cub is forgotten.

Seasons pass and you forget all about your encounter, yet you find the same face again as an adolescent, stalking after a river hog. It's young and must have been separated from its mother, but that seems to be a point of no concern for the hunter. Do you confront them?

Worth noting: I write posts from a third-person point of view, not like this.

- Something with centaurs (or less traditional types of taurs), I never see these used! Warring tribes, a bit of forbidden romance, or maybe an arranged marriage?

- Our characters are born as siblings, tigons/leopons in a pride of lions. What is their life like growing up? How are they treated? Can they find friendship and love or are they chased off once they're old enough to fend for themselves? Maybe they set out to make a pride of their own?

❤ You're in the world of elder scrolls and start to awaken in a terribly dirty prison cell. As you look around, you see another person sitting against the wall much like you, and suddenly the memories come flooding back. Were the two of you allies in a heist? How did last night go for the two of you? Will this be your existence until the end of time or will you break out?

- It's day one of the initial zombie outbreak. All hell has broken loose and you don't know where to go. In trying to scramble for your survival, you meet up with another survivor. Do you have a family with you? Do they? Will any of you survive?
