Just think about the flavor texts of the nursing lioness.

"[Lioness name] is having trouble keeping up with her cubs' names. They both/all look the same, after all!"
That's just an example though-

Also, the cub texts.

"You went to greet [cub], but he/she only laughed, telling you that was the wrong name."
or
"[cub] greeted you and you responded with the wrong name, only for them to laugh and correct you. How embarrassing!"

I know those are kinda the same but heck, they're both cute-

I like this idea! Some more suggestions to consider:
- Higher likelihood with higher fertility lionesses?
- Huge mood / survival drop if one of the twins dies (for gameplay reasons, I think chasing, selling, etc. shouldn't have an effect, only if the cub dies from lack of protection)

I dont support as of right now, just because in outside groups about LD, i see people talking about how their kings or their lionesses have been cloned many times in breedings. Not many seem too happy.

If this were to go through, i would say, let there be an item to *remove* the chance, no matter how big or small, of cloning that the King or the Lioness could take before each breeding. Just make it something small like Chasteberries.

Some people work *really* hard on their kings or girls and really dont like someone getting pure clones for a cheap amount.
So, if an item could be made to severely lower to even remove the chance, then id support. Otherwise, i cant.

This isnt like a crunchy worm. At all.

Think of it more like a lethal being born, that’s how stupidly rare it would be. it isn’t a free crunchy worm. There’s always a chance for it to even be a pair of twin potatos, it’d be miles easier to literally just use a crunchy worm then to pray RNG gives you a identical twin.

Also, it isn’t the kings, queens or lionesses being the identical twin ; it’s the cubs of said pairings. Crunchy worm excluded (You cant get a identical twin of a crunchy worm roll).

People have been getting exacts or almost exacts of their lions without crunchy worms more than youd think. I see people complain about it all the time outside of LD.
If that RNG kicked in on a cub that was already an identical to a parent, i bet the majority wouldnt be too happy seeing people get twins to the parent. Thats what im saying. Heck, my sub Horo is almost an exact copy of his dad! and i didnt use any items. I get almost exacts and exacts quite often, and so do a lot of people. It wouldnt make it very fun to start getting even more of them.
And yeah, that might just be a glitch in the RNG, but we dont need the RNG messed with even more if so.

Side note; one of my old kings gave clones of himself any time his base passed. Hed give almost exacts often as well, with only the base and *maybe* a marking slightly different. It wasnt fun to see. And no, no crunchy worms wouldve been used since those are lioness only

The hate of clones comes from people who work really hard and spend a lot of money to make the perfect king (to them) and it gets cloned for less than 1gb.
Which i can heavily understand. I spent a lot on my king who ended up throwing clones out like crazy. Kinda made me regret getting him.
