First Explore
The woods are full with birdsong. Something very ill-fitting with the eerie tension that haunts the place. So far, you've come across nothing but peaceful denizens like deer, but it's clear that something is lurking behind the trees. Finally, you escape the trees and come across the great lake, Vesperpool. But your feeling of sucess is harshly ripped away by a loud roar. You definitely can't go south anymore...go west, north, or east?

Heading east, you stay close to the lakeshore, just in case anything decides to jump out of the trees. In the distance, you see some eggs, but you're pretty sure they're not a chocobo's. It might be a nest for something you might not wanna' meet. You return to the Post empty-handed, maybe try again next time!



Gyshal Greens; Makes it easier to tame wild chocobo!

Second Explore
This time, you find your way much faster to the Vesperpool. The nest you found is now surrounded by Sahagins, which you might not want to mess with. You walk around the lake a little farther when you see it. A black chocobo! You slowly approach it, but its feathers ruffle up when it spots you. What do you do?

You hold out the treat, careful not to make any sudden movements. The bird is clearly interested, but it's movements are just as wary as before. It takes two steps forward and snatches the greens from your hand. The chocobo's not running, that's a good sign! You turn up your hands to show that you're unarmed and the chocobo slowly eases itself in your presence. Finally, it gathers up enough courage to come closer. It circles you to check for weapons, but also in curiosity. Not many get to see humans so up close, especially harmless ones. It lets out a friendly 'kweh', I guess you did it! We'll have to clean this big boi from lake muck, but rest assured that you'll get to see 'im soon!
