So I’ve been thinking for a while about this suggestion and I know it’s going to get mixed views which is ok! My idea is that Lioden could introduce a banking system where players could input their Sb and Gb into a “bank” that could include a interest system (or not) where they get a certain amount of intreast over a period of time I.e 5% over a month (only on Sb). I think a bank system would be a good idea, especially for players who are saving their Sb or Gb to reach achievements but don’t particularly want it to “mix” with their “disposable income” that way it’s easier to save and less stressful!. There could even be a bank keeper whether it be an old lion or which ever animal lioden chooses! Im not sure on how this would work with coding etc and hopefully I’ve explained it well. I apologise if I haven’t I struggle with this and apologies if there’s spelling mistakes I’m dyslexic and it doesn’t show spelling errors! Please be kind with comments if you don’t support, as I said it won’t be to everyone’s taste! Thank you <3 |

Yeah, but like some people have over 1000+gb which would be over a million in sb. 5% of that (or even 1%) per RO would be way too op  0 players like this post! Like? |

Hi Vix thank you for your input, as stated it wouldn’t be every roll over it be monthly or yearly. However the intreast doesn’t have to be incorporated, just I thought about how banks usually work. That’s all :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

A few suggestions for this: - Players have to pay a small amount of GB to access the bank (perhaps to an NPC like the OP said) - It's only for Silver Beetles (GB interest is a little much when it's supposed to be the special $$$ currency) - 1% interest every 10 rollovers, maybe? I'm not sure if that's viable... someone who knows more about money should make that percentage, not me! And, if this entire "interest" thing is a dud, perhaps "The Bank" could just be a free-to-use place for users to store their GB or SB when they are saving up for something and they don't want to accidentally overspend! 0 players like this post! I think I'd like the idea of a bank if it replaces the bundles we already have. Cause the bundles are currently our way of storing SB and GB from ourselves, so we don't overspend them. It would seem kind of redundant to have that AND a bank. XD I know close to nothing about interest and such as well but there's that old virtual pet site that has a bank function, and you get interest from it, daily, based on how much site currency you store in it. The more currency you store in it, the more interest you get. Just throwing that out there as an idea, honestly lol. I definitely don't see why we couldn't be able to store GB in the bank as well, as long as we DON'T earn interest on that, cause we do need to keep the site running.  0 players like this post! they'll never approve the GB part but i really like the idea of the SB interest, i feel like it'd need a money cap though to keep it fair like if you have a certain amount of sb on your account you can no longer acquire any interest. i feel like if there was no cap rich players would just get crazy rich and it wouldn't help anything 0 players like this post! Think it could be a good idea to save for the future maybe, but there are some downsides too, like the first comments there are quite some older players or players that just spend basically their entire lives on lioden and earn around 50 geebs a day or more, but it could also be possible to just make a bundle in hoard and like call one ‘bank’ / ‘savings’ and another one ‘spend’ or smt, so that could also be used as a banking system 0 players like this post! This is a very old suggestion, but I would like to include by input while I'm scrolling around: I do not know if any of you are familiar with the game Xanje, but it is kind of...similar to this, I guess. Far less complex indeed, though. But anyways, they have a banking system on there that also includes interest, though I forget the rate (I'll edit it in later). I've been using that site for 3 or 4 years now, and I have yet to see it have an overly negative effect on the economy. Though I can agree with the idea that interest applies to sb only for the sake of fairness. 0 players like this post! Like? |
