make all combo bases special! out of all the combo bases we have in the game, all of them are special rarity except for three, which are listed as common; cloudburst, smog, and nadir.
🌱 all combo bases have the same chances to pass, and are difficult to breed. smog and cloudburst even have extra requirements to be bred that other special bases do not always have. 🌱 because the bases are common, they are undesirable to have on kings; the majority of that king’s offspring will have “fail”, or common bases. this makes breeding high-quality cubs very difficult. some concerns: let’s get these wonderful bases the love they deserve. please consider supporting this suggestion, and feel free to post any questions, concerns, or ideas in the replies! |

it makes more sense for applicator bases to not be specials than for combo bases to not be specials, especially considering how hard they can be to breed, such as nadir which is a common! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Holy I just had a thought, why not add a 4th tier... which would be specifically for combos and the hybrid bases. This would make either easier to not only identify but since they all are Bred differently then specials, as the hybrids are already really hard to achieve, harder than combos I've heard... anyways it also means commons and specials and rates can all create this 4th tier... mainly it would just be a hard job for the coders... but it would help because commons shouldn't create specials by the breeding logic, but putting combos in this 4th tier it doesn't matter because it would be a mix anyways... 0 players like this post! Support! There really is no reason why Nadir shouldn't be Special. Its factors are special bases and the only one that isn't, Ebony, is breed only (Much like how two combo bases are also factors for the base!) Cloudburst and Smog should be uncommon AT LEAST. It's honestly insulting to the player by making the bases common considering the bases are never guaranteed when breeding the factors together. The reasoning of "genetics categories didn't have enough commons" makes no sense when you look and realise there are only 10 uncommon bases. Any kind of rarity for Cloudburst and Smog would be amazing and appreciated imo 0 players like this post! Like? |

Big big support. My queen fails to a lot of the factors for Cloudburst, and even after keeping Maltese/Korat/Chartreux/Albino lionesses around to breed to other studs for Cloudburst, it took me a ridiculously long time before I got my first, and I still struggle to breed them. I also have yet to successfully breed a Nadir, Smog, or the Cloudburst x Unholy base, Squall, and not for lack of trying. It only makes sense for the bases to be Special, especially the season-dependent ones, because Cloudburst or Smog kings can't even pass their base to another Cloudburst or Smog outside their season, and getting a Cloudburst lioness to line up her heats for the four days of wet season? It's pain.  Making these combo bases Special would maintain consistency and also drive more interest in having kings with these really underappreciated bases. 0 players like this post! Big support! There's ultimately no payoff for trying to breed these bases otherwise... combos are already so hard breed, without the added fact they'll only throw commons which deters so many people! 0 players like this post! Like? |
