definitely supported, as one of the few active nadir kings ;-; I don't plan on changing my guy's base any time soon, but it's kind of sad how much nadir is dying out because no one wants to put resources into a common base :')

Exactly! Although I do not have a Cloudburst (or well, any of the 'common' combo bases), I was looking into bases I could breed for with Chartreux and I found Cloudburst and went "Oh this base is really pretty!" and then found out it was common right after checking pass rates. It doesn't make sense-- really, it doesn't! Even if not Special, it should at least be changed to Rare due to its factor bases!

I support wholeheartedly. I’ve put a lot of time and effort into my nadir king, and the fact that nadir isn’t a special base even though it should be is a turn off for a lot of other breeders, making it hard to find factors and other nadir lions overall.

I have no idea why people aren't supporting this This would be amazing! I love the Nadir and Cloudburst bases, so having them be special bases would help me breed them more often! It's the only reason I ended up deciding against a Nadir-based king :(

I hate that nadir is not special its made by special and rare bases! If anything should be at least rare is Arabica as its literally made by common, uncommon, rare (might just be common and rare but I forget the rarities of the butter duo)
Asiatic should be common because its literally made by common bases! Or at least if we follow the breeding patterns! Black rose should be rare or uncommon by this
Cloud burst should be Rare as its highest base is literally rare
Smog can be considered common as it is made by common bases, of course since its a breed by season it should be at least uncommon or rare
And olive should be uncommon because that's the highest base

Now I know uncommon can produce rares... Now I do believe that they should all be special but if we're talking about the commons common=common etc. Its not nadir that should be taking the fall, and cloud burst and smog are seasonal already so why in the world would you make them undesirable... I have a Maddy boy I love and the fails he gives still give good ones (mainly cuz I don't have as many Maddy producing lions right now but I'm getting there) and rates especially help me because their shedua or one of the combo specials half the time...

I just posted the same thing then was redirected here. I 100% agree and it is really not fair for cloudburst/smog and Nadir to not be classified as SPECIAL. All the 22 other combo bases have the chance to breed to common tier lions and get rare/uncommon except those 3??? It's absolutely shocking and I feel like almost discrimination to cloudburst/nadir and smog lovers and combo breeders who take the time to specifically breed these bases.

If they want to make more common tiers in color groups they should look at developing it in the background and not penalize combo bases which are extremely hard to breed & special.

I think all COMBO bases should be special regardless of how they are made because it is no easy feat gathering all the specific lion groups and finding a stud if you can't use your own.

I am NOT saying i do not support it, but I’m also NOT saying i do support it.

I think that there was a reason behind some bases being common, such as cloudburst. I know, trust me, i understand it is indeed a hard base to breed- but at the same time it is a combo factor in squall and such. Maybe making it a common genetic means that it makes it harder to breed squalls, which is a special combo base. (Cuz according to genetics a common x special = lower chance than rare x special or special x special)

Thats just my reasoning behind why some combo bases, although hard to breed, are common / going to stay common.

I have nothing against making them special, in fact it’d make it easier to breed other combo bases but i think thats why they decided not to do that :)

The main reason why a lot of people support this is that there is no difference in difficulty obtaining some combos or the time taken despite being common or special.

The breeding factors also have no consideration into breeding common vs special combos i.e

Arabica (special) is made by Black, Buttercream & Buttermilk (which are all common)

Nadir (common)= Ardor, Hellebore, Rhodonite, Black Rose & Ebony (all are rare or special tiers)


I definitely voted yes because I want all combo factors to be special especially because
-gaining combo factors is hard. Even if you get the combos you need certain players will not accept your breeding request which does not help.
-low chance of breeding it (so it is lengthy. Look at my nadir's king offspring and a lot of the lionesses are combo factors of nadir but I'e never bred one. **This is good however I want to it hard and rare BUT & I also want Nadir to be a special base for breeding outside of combo factors & not be disadvantaged.
-this would bring fairness to all combo bases (which is three out of the 25 existing)

I hope you will eventually change your minds <3 there honestly is no good reason to not make all the combo bases special. I'd be happy if they made some applicators that are craftable by gorilla all year round instead to be common based instead of making combo bases different tiers due to colour group rarity numbers.

once more, aqua did point out something smart. the creators, or whoever did it, most likely didnt have those few bases as a special because they are combo factors to another combo base; and again, like aqua said, according to genetics, you have a less chance to get a base when its common x special. maybe they did that on purpose so then squall and other bases would be harder to breed for, therefore more valuable and more of a challenge for players whose lookin for something to do?

im not gonna click the not support, as i do think its a good idea. but if this idea doesnt pass through, id understand. its more of a neutral view on it from me LOL

I agree with Jay too- I’m not “NOT supporting”, but I’m also not “supporting”- I’m good with either way and what i said was less of a disagreement and more of a hypothetical explanation for why i dont think they will add it, but if they do add it, it’d be cool aswell! I’m just neutral :)
