Oleanderfall would've been literally passed out, not realizing he was being dragged back to camp by Pineshadow. Whirling thoughts swarmed in the fluffy tom's head, his small piece of fresh-kill still laying out there.

Pineshadow dragged Oleanderfall into the medicine den and dropped him in front of the rather surprised medicine cat. He quickly explained what had happened.

Stormstar sat in her den, staring out at camp. She slowly bared her teeth, No true Nightclan cat would not be loyal to her, their leader. Stormstar lashed her tail and hissed under her breath. She was annoyed that Pineshadow had the bravery to even question what she had done. Perhaps it had been wrong to trust him. Thoughts raced through Stormstar's head and the grey cat forced her eyes closed. Her clan was loyal, she was just thinking too much. Stormstar sighed and opened her eyes again. She curled her tail around her paws and stood up. She had seen Pineshadow drag Oleanderfall back to camp, and she wondered what had happened. Stormstar jumped down and headed over to the medicine den.

Silverheart's head broke through the surface of the glittering lake as rain poured down. She felt herself being dragged away by the water. Impossible! It had been forever since the lake had flooded. Silverheart shook her head frantically as her head went underwater again. No matter how much she tried, there was no way to get back to the surface.
With a jolt, Silverheart woke up. "Wha-" A cat, a brown tabby to be exact, was staring at her with an annoyed expression before stalking out of the den. Silverheart looked down at her paws. It was only a dream. She sighed and slowly padded out of the den. Sunlight shone down into camp and the silver cat stretched. Silverheart shook her head in annoyance, it was sunhigh already. She glanced over at the fresh kill pile as the hunting patrol slipped back into camp and dropped their catch on the pile. Silverheart nodded to them and quickly picked up a small fish.

Tigerkit sat in camp and watched the warriors and apprentices go about their day. Soon, she would be racing through the forest after prey and maybe she would even to give trespassing cats a few scratches they would never forget! Tigerkit couldn't wait to be apprenticed, of course, she would be fine with any mentor as long as it wasn't her father. She bounded over to Pebblekit excitedly, "Who would you want to be your mentor?" Tigerkit asked eagerly.

Cloudmist yawned and looked down at the forest floor. Stormstar had yet to send her warriors to watch Swiftclan, and she hoped the Nightclan leader never would. Cloudmist sighed, surely Starclan was watching them. The lack of unhelpful prophecies worried her. Usually Starclan sends something once in a while. Now it seemed as if Starclan had forgotten about the clans. If they were so powerful, couldn't their ancestors just solve everything? Send down a sign, perhaps? She shook her head slowly and glided down. Cloudmist cast a quick glance over at Dapplesong and narrowed her eyes. There was something she couldn't place about the she-cat, who was the father? It was rare that a cat never told who the father was, and it bugged her. Cloudmist walked away from the trees where Swiftclan had built their nests and told herself there was nothing to worry about.

Pineshadow glanced up when Stormstar padded into the medicine den. He couldn't help but tense, given how their last encounter had gone but his voice was perfectly normal as he mewed, "I noticed earlier that he had gotten sick but he refused to go see the medicine cat. Then I found him like this."

Stormstar nodded to Pineshadow and glanced over at Oleanderfall. She narrowed her eyes and tilted her head as she studied him. "So he had gotten sick." Stormstar muttered. "Is the clan this weak?" She turned to Pineshadow with a disapproving look.

Pineshadow's eyes narrowed at his words. Was he to blame for cats getting sick now? He wanted to lash his tail in annoyance but he controlled his reaction, only mewing evenly, "Cats will always get sick, Stormstar. No cat can prevent that."

Stormstar flicked her tail as she replied to Pineshadow. "Of course cats will always get sick." She said with a slight hiss. "But how will the clan stay strong with cats sick?" Stormstar turned away from Pineshadow and cast a questioning look at the medicine cat.

Peachleaf woke up with a start. She shook her feathers and noticed a bit of lint stuck between her wings. “Well thats great.” She grimaced and picked it away. She flew out of her nest and over the other trees to look for any high-flying birds of prey.

Oleanderfall let out a quiet hiss, tucking his paws underneath his chest. “Why can’t I just have a peaceful life..” He grumbled.

Peachleaf’s ears pricked when she heard an argument. She dove down and landed silently on a tree, listening in and picking at her feathers.

Silentriver would be in the nursery, tiredly watching Dawnkit play with the other kits as she slowly washed her swollen belly. She had become distant from everyone, for some odd reason.

Morningtuft would be chatting with some of the she-cats, puffing up her chest proudly and laughing as one of them made fun of her. (In a good way obviously)

"Peace?" Stormstar asked. "You do know what the clans are in the middle of, right? You can have peace when this is all over." And when Nightclan is still thriving unlike the others. She silently added.
