- A Private Warriors Roleplay - There were once four Clans. Until the world seemingly fell apart. Now the miniscule remainder of the distraught Clan cats elect two leaders of two new Clans-Dawnstar of DawnClan and Gazestar from MistClan-and the cats choose a leader to follow. MistClan took over the wide expanses of grassland and mountain. DawnClan claimed the forest and beaches. The two Clans lived peacefully...at least, for a time. The new Moonpool, hidden in the neutral territory between the two Clans, holds StarClan's power. The two leaders travel to the Moonpool to receive their official nine lives and suffix. They stumble across one another and bond over the journey. They return on good terms. But soon Gazestar and Dawnstar realize their feelings for each other are more than just allies. Bearfang The tom watched the cats that wandered about in the center of camp. “I am going to go hunt and stock up the fresh kill pile.” He said standing up. “That way, when the hunting patrol gets back we will be good on food for a while.” He said with a smile and a nod. “If I am not back by the time you leave tonight, safe travels, Dawnstar.” He purred before trotting away. 0 players like this post! Dawnstar nodded. "See you later, Bearfang!" She called, standing up. The sun had now reached it's peak; it would begin to set soon. She was going to meet the leader of MistClan, a tom named Gazestar. Hopefully things didn't escalate? She wasn't keen to fight, especially near the Moonpool. She wasn't going to upset StarClan on her first day of leadership. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Gazestar The tom let out a soft sigh before entering Moonwillow’s den. “Moonwillow, are you ready?” He asked. His sister nodded before moving a couple herbs around and following him out of her den. Gazestar looked up and nodded. “Let’s head out, it’s about time.” He looked around his camp and thought about anything else he needed to do before they had left. But hours before he had assigned patrols and hunts, they were prepared for anything. Moonwillow licked her brothers shoulder. “Come on, the clan will be fine.” She slightly chuckled before leading the way out of the camp to head to the Moonpool. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Dawnstar stood up, yowling. She organized the patrols and hunts before Rainflower emerged from her den, smelling of bitter herbs. "Time to go," She murmured, glancing at the setting sun. Dawnstar nodded, then loped into the forest, following Rainflower's steady pawsteps. The sweet-smelling pine leaves rustled in the evening wind, disturbing the silence. Gazestar Gazestar and Moonwillow approached the Moonpool. Their paws tingled, a powerful feeling over-coming them both. Moonwillow looked around before glancing to Gazestar. "I wonder when the other leader will be here." Gazestar spoke looking to his sister, beating her to the same question. "I suppose they will be here soon..." Moonwillow answered, she sniffed the air before moving back and sitting closer to the trees. Loping over fallen trees and other debris, Rainflower and Dawnstar approached the Moonpool, which they sensed from a twinge in the tips of their whiskers. Gazestar The tom's ears perked and he looked in the direction of Dawnstar and Rainflower. He couldn't help but feel speechless at seeing the leader. 'Beautiful.' He thought before standing and nodding. "Glad to see you both traveled safely." Gazestar bowed his head. Moonwillow let out a soft 'mrrow' to greet the other cats. Her nerves seemed to settle seeing that they were calm and arrived in one piece. "Congratulations on becoming leader." Gazestar gave a slight smile. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Dawnstar mewed a greeting to each of the two, gaze lingering on both of them. "I hope StarClan has protected you on your journey here," She said carefully. She smiled faintly at Gazestar. "Thank you. I congratulate you as well. You'll be a fine leader." Her gaze rested on the faintly glowing moonpool. "When the moon reflects on the pool, simply lick up a few drops of the water and sleep beside the pool. Then StarClan will come to you." Gazestar The tom listened carefully to the instructions. He stood and nodded before slowly walking closer to the moonpool. He took a deep breath, and tried to hide the shaking. He glanced up at Dawnstar with a slight smile. "Good luck in there." He bowed his head. He looked back at Moonwillow and she smiled at him for encouragment. Moonwillow Moonwillow’s tail wrapped around her body tightly. Dawnstar shivered in her sleep, eyes flitting under their lids. Rainflower watched her intently. "You're right," She said to Moonwillow, glancing up at the full moon, heavy and low. The tom opened his eyes and blinked a couple times before standing. His tail flicked continuously as he glanced around at the other cats. Dawnstar nodded to Gazestar and Moonwillow, then turned to Rainflower. In silent agreement, they both patted out of the sheltered clearing, the glow of the moonpool slowly fading.
