Im sorry but my point still stands? Its exactly like looking for something in TC? It says "View custom decors" and it takes 2 seconds of simple observation so find. Thats how finding a link works on every single website. Theres big letters, and right underneath there's a link


And another note- I have never heard of someone struggling to view their branch from the Branches section because again, its right underneath. Sure there is another place to view it from your den page, but I usually go to it from branches. Both are accessible

We're talking about two different things. It IS different. Some people might think that CDs are only available on TC & branches. Because original CD page is not in Crossroads directly so how are you supposed to know that it's anywhere. A CD is on sale at TC it's from someone, not original page. The same with CD for sale on Branches. Why should you think that "Custom decors" is something different than filters on TC? How people are suppose to know that you can also purchase them from original page? That "list of CD" is something tHow is it obvious that on branches there is also a link to original CD page?

Can you tell me why everything in Crossroads has captions? Since simple searching is enough apparently? Answer is: because it makes life easier. I have to say that Wolvden has much more easy to use crossroads.

Edit: I'm not on anyone's side, just wanted to say that it's not really worth getting into if y'all do happen to fight here. At the end of the day it's just pixels, no need to get upset. We can all be civil and just talk, yknow.

@callum completely agree! This shouldn't even be an issue because again, it is obvious where to find and buy it, just take two seconds of your time to actually look around. And It says "purchasable decors" in a spot much like checking off frozen lions from TC or Studs. So even if you see one on TC, you can go look and buy one on the page that is quite easy to find.

The Lioden team already has enough to do, making a page a tiny bit easier to find for less observant players isn't a priority.

My Support! Personally I have been here like for a year and just because someone mentioned here that is below branches I just learn I could find it there Going to Custom Decors is really complicated, specially if you start! I had to literally look for it on threads and google it to find the link and bookmark it It should have it´s own place, I don´t personally like the idea of it being in the Crossroads (I like how it is now and adding it will mean change the locations of the other icons or some of them to make room for it, not just images but links to everything )

I think it should be in the Oasis but not in Item Catalogue and more like to have it separate Custom Decor section (or change maybe the name of Item Catalogue to Custom Decor I think is more easier that way since people will automatically look for it there and if they want to look for something else beside that they can search in there )

I understand with those that don´t like the idea because there are other thing the creators want to do or should be thinking about (For example this July event! They will be quite busy making the story and putting it on the game for us ) and because if someone is looking they can search for it in threads,someone tells them but it doesn´t mean it can´t be something that they can add in the future years or when they have time, it´s not an urgency after all but it would be helpfull to implement in the future (After all that´s the point of the location of everything in the game not just because of aesthetics but because it easier for players to find what they are looking for, it doesn´t have to be give everything on a silver platter to player but it would make it just a little easier)

Just because something is just being call today doesn´t make it a bad thing for example I remember that I read somewhere that when Lioden changed their logo everyone made a fuss because they liked or not liked the change and so on, it was not something essential to the actual gameplay but they did You can say it was more to something of marketing and give a modern vibe, some wanted it to change and others didn´t but it change.

Right now this event gameplay changed too some mind, some don´t (not talking about the story or items more of the gameplay itself, it has that wolvden vibe ) It´s something new and different compared to the other event, something no one asked or complained about but still did it

Something like change the name of something or give it a special section is not something as extreme as the last one or something like the change of logo. It had happend before with many other apps/games around the world (the facebook/instagram/deviantart of now is not the same like years ago, some like it, some don´t) and it can happen here too! We are not asking to change the whole things here just make that specific thing easier to find (Specially for new players, I remember it cost me a lot not just a few minutes to find it and even after finding it it cost me some time to understand it while the other things here are a bit more easier to locate, I think there is a word for it, make it more intuitive? I´m not sure but I hope the idea get understanded )

And I get it and so true too! I´m really interested to see what others think too about it tho, if it get´s implemented or not is another story too because as you say they have lots of things to do and want to implement (new bases, markings, I remember I read an old post about the male poses too! And so on!) I´m really exited to see them all and other things they are planning so even if they accept this it won´t be implemented soon and it´s a big chance it doesn´t but it´s worth the try, it depends on not just the votes after all but what they have in their schedules

And yeah I knew it affected some people, I personally didn´t mind since I always assume it was surrounded to inbreeding that happens on game but yeah if you look to it more in deep and how Apedemak atittud was and everything I understand it can be more than just a shock to people and might affected in deep

To clarify: I didnt make this out of the blue. I asked around in chat multiple times and the result was that many people had just found the custom decor page after many years of playing or didnt know at all you could buy them directly.

I honestly didnt think this would be such a contended topic. I mean its not a change that would harm anyone at all. I think its just a bit disrespectful to all the artist who created the decors basically for free (1GB=50cent). Having an active community is essential for the survival of a game and Custom Decors are just that, a way to directly involve players in the creation of new items. And there are so many amazing artists creating Custom Decors. Changing the location of the page to somewhere more easily accessible would increase sales, motivating more artists to create Custom Decors.

I don’t think the idea of making something easier to find is ‘lazy’. The whole point of making it easier to find isn’t for the people who already know where to find custom decors, it’s for the new players who have no idea the page exists! As others have mentioned before, when I first found out about Custom Decor, I had to google how to find it. Even when I came back from a hiatus I had to re-google to refresh my memory. It’s pretty tucked away, so it would be great to have it in a more obvious spot!

How are you guys fighting over something that makes the site more organized? When the best way to get to a page is by bookmarking it, there's an issue. Same with item catalogue.

Custom Decor + Item Catalogue should be either accessible from crossroads, like everything else on site, or have their own links in the sidebar, like event shops. It makes no sense for the full Custom Decor list to be on the Branch Search page, nor does it make sense for the Item Catalogue to be accessible though Oasis.

It's not "babying" players. This is a legitimate issue I've seen come up time and time again, both in main chat and in off site communities. Also, adding a link to access these from more accessible places is as simple as changing a few html elements, which, as a coder, takes, at absolute most, maybe ten minutes if you're being slow. Just because some users may not see it come up often doesn't mean it's not an issue.
