This RP is closed and has been remade here: LINK A feminine, monotone voice echoes through the halls of a suburban family home, "An estimated 250 dogs live at the plant itself, 225 in the city of Chernobyl, and hundreds more roam around, for a total of more than 1,000, according to SPCA International. Wolves and the need for food have driven the dogs from wooded areas surrounding the plant into the Exclusion Zone." Suddenly, a sharper female voice cuts in. "Don't watch something so depressing, sweetie. The puppies are fine." The screen goes black. setting music The city is picturesque from the television screen. Though living amongst the crumbling, overgrown, radioactive buildings is another hell entirely. Dogs whose ancestors were abandoned by their masters in order to escape the explosion generations ago still remain here to this day, too far into the Exclusion Zone to be saved by any humans residing outside of Chernobyl. Many have been born with birth defects, sometimes visible but more often affecting their minds, organs and lifespans. Two major packs have risen out of the dust, Abolition and Insurgent. The packs have always been at odds but due to the encroachment of wolves and low resources, space is low and tempers are at an all time high. Can they come together to overcome the odds or will their own greed tear them down?
Current season: Early Winter. [Frigid temperatures. Long nights, short and dark days.] Current major events: Time Skip!! 9/5 Two Abolition dogs have been killed by Insurgent pack members. This has caused unrest in both packs. A massive snow storm has swept over Chernobyl, bringing an early winter and a shortage of supplies.

Ferrer | Abolition Healer | Location: Abolition Camp Mentions: Mavy, Tyulen', Ranger. "Wonderful." He replied to Mavy with another yawn, sitting back on his scarred haunches. "Have you eaten today? Are you in need of anything for pain?" He continued, not wanting to seem too pushy but still concerned nonetheless. Sometimes it was best to ask, and he mostly just wanted to do something to busy himself. Sitting around wasn't his favourite past time. His head whipped around as his beta mentioned his name. Something about phsyicals and whatnot. Well, at least it was something to do. He stood up and shook his coat out, obviously not in much of a hurry. "Of course. Have you experienced any pain or stiffness recently?" He asked Tyulen' as he approached. A serious, yet dull tone to his voice as he studied her. He raised a scraggly eyebrow at her and the warrior, Ranger. Letting out a heavy, annoyed, sigh. Ugh. Young love. Isa | Insurgent Leader | Location: Insurgent Camp Mentions: Shadow, Fang, Jet. She bared her teeth as Shadow brushed her off once again, hurrying after Quillon. Certainly she wouldn't interrupt his hunt, being the beta, but that pup could pose to be a problem if it took up too much of her time. She decided it was best to just let them be for now. She could deal with them later. Pacing around the side of the building, her gaze landing on the scrawny figure of her youngest son, tucked away in a thicket of thorns. She let out a disdainful sniff as she passed by, if he couldn't be useful at least he was keeping himself out of the way. Out of the corner of her eye, a bright coat catches her attention. "Fang." She calls out, stiffly trotting up to the scout. "You aren't just getting out of bed, are you?" She asks, a stern expression molded into her features. "Quillon is leaving camp now, accompany him. Perhaps you could help him locate prey if he fails to do so." She dismissed the older male with a flick of her tail. Quillon | Insurgent Warrior | Location: Insurgent Camp Mentions: Shadow. Quillon slowed his pace as he came back to his senses, allowing Shadow to match his speed. "I- I'm sorry, what do you need?" He finally answered, still heading out of camp but at a slower pace. The only priority he had right now was to bring something back to feed the pack. He had no intentions of returning empty-pawed, it would be a death sentence.
