Hunger for yourself or hunger for your pride has brought you wandering, searching for easy prey to take down yet... there is nothing. Not even the birds circling overhead dip down low enough for your claws to reach. So, you continue walking... and walking... and walking... Sitting back on your haunches in defeat, a cub (https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794155231869) suddenly sprints past you holding a chewed up bird in her tiny jaws! Following them might yield some prey for your pride so you silently creep after them. Their destination ended up being a huge cave filled with various carcases. The smell is tempting enough that you sneak inside only to have a muscular lioness (https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794155205757) slip out with her teeth bared at your intrusion, "Is there a reason you're here?" She hisses out as the cub hides behind her. Recently, it seems she's gained two more little friends in her group! As Prince Holy returned Sekhmet raised her head off her paws to watch him enter. She looked surprised at his return but gestured with a flick of her tail for him to sit next to her, "Hello again, thank you for bringing more food. You look exhausted though. "I've come to donate some carcasses. One of my lionesses was hunting when she noticed this cave and the carcasses inside. She came back and told me, so I gathered up some of mine to give to you. I have plenty of food, but I've noticed starving prides recently, and I wanted to help out." Tamale nodded to his lioness and she came forward, dropping the pouch at Sekhmet's feet. King Orsiris grunted slightly at the opposing Queen's tone but he forced his head to lower as a sign of respect. "I see your work has brought many to you and I wish for no ill intent. Instead, I would like to bring you gifts to not only help your pride but the others who set paws here." The older King lifts his head just slightly as he nods to the pile. "My Queens often hunt and our pray is plenty - so much so that it often spoils. If you'd like, we can bring our freshest meats to you." ((Do I just send it to you or...? Sekhmet watched Tamale and Enchilada for a few seconds before pulling the pouch towards her. She carefully opened the pouch and sniffed the carcasses inside before pushing it into her hoard. "Tamale, Enchilada." She nodded to each of them in turn before smiling, "You're correct. I apricate your donation to the cause." As she spoke to the lioness and her king she glanced over to the other older king, gesturing with a flick of her tail for Orsiris to drop the spoils into her prey pile. Ryucka padded up with his head held low and his stumpy tail twitching insistently behind him. Locking eyes with the lioness that kept the seemingly endless amount of food- he bowed his head, quietly asking if she could share her bounty with him due to many of his lionesses falling pregnant and being unable to hunt. The king looked embarrassed of his predicament. Tamale and Enchilada started to walk out of the cave when Tamale noticed he had forgotten a carcass. "Oh, I left a bigger carcass outside. Let me get it before I go," Tamale said, nodding at Orsiris on his way out as a show of respect. He came back in a few heartbeats later, dragging a rather bloody rhebok carcass in. As he and Enchilada started to leave for real, he stopped again and added, "One of my allies, a lion king named Rootbeer, seems to be low on prey. He doesn't seem to realize the importance of hunting every day as much as he can. I'm going to tell him about this place so he can stock up on food while I teach him a thing or two about hunting. Just thought a heads up might be nice because he's going to need a LOT of food." (seriously though my side account is almost dead. o-o I've barely had enough food to keep all my lions and I keep forgetting to hunt on weekdays.) 0 players like this post! Like? |

King Orsiris once again nods to the Queen and he gives a grunt - a signal for two of his lionesses to come forth from the cave entrance. Alva ((https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794153711432)) comes forth, dragging an elephant calf carcass behind her. The young Queen quickly retreats back to the cave entrance allowing Orchid ((https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794151279105)), the other of the two Queens, to drag in a fresh bongo carcass. She sits next to King Orsiris, giving a friendly nod to those around her while the King continues to speak. "Take these gifts and use them well, if not for yourself but for others as well. If you happen to need more fresh meat, or even other items, do not hesitate to reach out to us.
