Hunger for yourself or hunger for your pride has brought you wandering, searching for easy prey to take down yet... there is nothing. Not even the birds circling overhead dip down low enough for your claws to reach. So, you continue walking... and walking... and walking... Sitting back on your haunches in defeat, a cub (https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794155231869) suddenly sprints past you holding a chewed up bird in her tiny jaws! Following them might yield some prey for your pride so you silently creep after them. Their destination ended up being a huge cave filled with various carcases. The smell is tempting enough that you sneak inside only to have a muscular lioness (https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794155205757) slip out with her teeth bared at your intrusion, "Is there a reason you're here?" She hisses out as the cub hides behind her. Recently, it seems she's gained two more little friends in her group! The piebald Ferus, Forsythia, approaches slowly. A group of lionesses follow her from a distant, each dragging a fresh carcass. "Our king has taken notice of your kind deeds." She drawls. (Sorry! I was at a party) Sakhmet approached Celestie with a thoughtful gaze, taking the food from the cubs with a soft smile before approaching the king. "I will gladly take four of your female cubs to raise into huntresses and one male to assist my king when he grows old." (Surprise me! Slow trudging steps brought the hibiscus hued king to the arching opening of a great cave, the enticing wafts of scent drawing him closer, the desire to feed his pride great. Regal head lowered cautiously he padded through the entrance and glanced around, star filled gaze alighting upon a well muscled and proud lioness with tumbling cubs just behind. He bowed low and spoke with a rumble "Greetings great huntress, I am Sharik, king of a pride 79 strong, our hunts have not been so successful this season and I have many mouths left to feed" He raised his head to meet her gaze "From the words drifting on the wind and what the birds sing I have made my way to seek your generosity if you'd be so willing " (I love how your doing this :heart:, I have 29 mouths left to feed ^^) 0 players like this post! When Sharik entered, Sakhmet had been busy teaching a group of cubs about the art of hunting. This lesson stopped though once the king entered and the cubs scattered. She looked slightly annoyed at the interruption but still met the king's gaze with a small smile, "Of course Sharik. How much of my prey do you require for your pride?" (Np! I used to play a few years back but... all my lions left due to starvation lol. Now I feed others!) 0 players like this post! Like? |

He bowed again adding "apologies for the intrusion" as his gaze followed the scattering cubs, he settled upon his rosette mottled haunches and ran over a mental note before confirming how much food he'd need "I have 29 lions to feed so any amount that would sate their hunger would suffice, 29 large feedings or double that of smaller feedings" (I've had that happen to me, just close to my year on lioden but I have lost half my pride due to starvation before) 0 players like this post! Seemingly out of place, a white and fiery mottled felis walks up to a spit then stops awkwardly. He looks around a bit, not really knowing where to go, "Uhm, greetings, I've been showed here by an ally of mine..." He trails off and his short tail flicks nervously. Finally and hesitantly he speaks, "I have good huntresses, and they always bring in a lot of food.... And I thought that it would be unkind of me not to share...." He lists his chin a bit and puffs out his chest "I wish to become a donator, I have a lot of food to share with the hungry" 0 players like this post! As the Felis approached, Sakhmet noticed how out of place he looked and gestured with a flick of her tail for him to come closer to her. When he finally spoke up though she gave him an encouraging smile, "Hello there, it's a pleasure to meet you. If you wish to donate simply drop the food of by the entrance of my cave and I'll sort it out when I have the time." (If ya want to donate simply send me the food <3) 0 players like this post! The felis smiled, relieved. "I'd hate to let my hard hunted food go to waste at a monkey or rot away! This seems like the best option!"
