Zayne backed up, as the water began to overflow and spill onto the floor of the room. "Well that was not what I was expecting to happen.... This probably isn't a good thing." He said looking around and walked over to the door.

He walked over to the platform, trying to see if he could see anything hinting at what to do. “If this thing fills up we might be dead,” he continued to look around as the water continued to fill the floor of the room.

"Yeah." He looked around on the door, "you think we'd be able to break the door down, maybe that wouldn't be a good idea the water would spill into the other rooms..." they said running his hand along the door, as his hand reached the middle of the door a small circle around his hand lit up. He backed up and a screen popped up, it had a section for 5 numbers. "Found the answer... it's a code.."

He looked over at them and then back at the platform. “Read the code to me and I’ll step on the one that fits it. Hopefully that works.” He held the torch closer to the platform to see the numbers better.

"Erm let's see... 5... 8... 4... 6... 2..." They said reading the numbers off slowly. He turned to look at them, waiting for them to step on the number or see if they needed a repeat.

“5…” he looked for the five and eventually found it, stepping on it. It slightly went down under his weight but nothing happened so he figured he was doing fine. “8…” he looked around for the eight and stepped on it. He repeated that for the rest of the numbers and after he stepped on the 2 he heard the door give away and the water seemed to stop filling.

He looked around as the water drained into the corners, once all of the water had drained out of the room. They took their hand off of the door and the numbers disappeared. The half-elf grabbed the handle and twisted it opening the door, he backed up, he was sure what to expect. The room was completely dark and even with the door open and the light seeping in they could see nothing but darkness.

They walked over to them, peering into the room. “Well that’s kinda eerie,” they took out their axe just incase something were to jump out at them. They slowly walked into the room, straining their eyes to try and see anything.

"Erm, Hold on." They said as they reached into their bag, they pulled out a small ball and tossed it into the room. It took a second but then started to glow and it lit up the room, there were two doors on the other side and something sleeping in the corner, it was rolled in a ball and its face was hidden. It had dark black fur and seemed to be at least Vyn's size.

He squinted at it as he tried to figure out what it was. He knew it was alive by the slight breathing movements. He slowly got his axe out incase it was something dangerous even though he knew he was bigger than it.

The thing turned it's head, It was a very large wolf, a deep growl came out from its mouth. Zayne paused, putting his hand on his sword. The wolf sat up it watched them as it started to walk around going back and forth from one door to the other door. The wolf looked very skinny and obviously hadn't eaten in a while, but it still looked strong enough to defend itself.

He huffed and brought his axe up. He looked around to try and figure out how they were supposed to get through. He slowly made his way closer but kept just out of reach as to not get harmed by the beast.

The animal seemed to size itself up to each of them, it would probably end up targeting Zayne. As he was smaller and looked frailer. "Maybe we offer it some food? It looks hungry." He said, pitching the idea to his partner, not really sure about it himself but he figured it was worth a try. He probably wouldn't have anything the carnivorous animal would want.

“That would be ideal but we don’t have anything to feed it,” they continued to look around. “Unless you have meat with you. I certainly don’t,” they shrugged and looked for anything that could help them.

"I don't, I don't eat meat so I'd never carry any around. I mean I have tofu, but idk if it'd eat that." He said as he turned as looked at the animal, which had slowly gotten a bit closer to them. It bared its teeth as they looked over.
