I don’t really agree, some people can’t help lineages when they’re buying and breeding so idc, plus most lions on here are bound to have a long lineage. My rule is: as long as the lion is pretty

One of my pet peeves is when people stack a ton of one mark on a lion (for example, all the gilded marks and nothing else). I understand the draw for dawn marks and BO traits but sometimes it’s just too much for certain categories or colours of marks. Maybe that’s just me though.

i agree for the most part, since it's an eyesore for a bright color lion and its maybe better if its more dull and less bright colors for the cubs they might give, but also something it's really overused to have a bright color bomb lion, i mean it's ok to have one and i don't mind really if you managed to make it look good and not a eyesore

a pet peeve i have is that when you give a lion that you love so much but you don't have any room for them so you give them to a person that seems like a good person with their lions and as soon as you send them, they either kill/chases/nature reserve the lion, even when you said not to or they don't feed or take care of the lion and it runs away

I agree to a point. Obviously people can do whatever they want with the lions they get, as once I give away a lion it is no longer mine. But if they want to nature reserve/get rid of it immediately, I’d prefer they don’t even offer to take it, since I could’ve given that lion to someone else or sold it. It’s different if they get rid of the lion further down the lion, but if they do it right after/soon after you send it, it feels weird. Like, that lion could’ve been for someone else. But, that is how the game goes sometimes, and we cannot prevent people from doing that, as the lions are no longer ours once we give them away.

I guess my pet peeve would be people making an offer in a trade that doesn’t even come close to what the item is worth. I’ve had multiple instances (luckily not recently) of people offering items on a trade that just aren’t worth what the trade is. Pls ppl, do your research and don’t offer 400 sb worth on a 6 gb item/lion. Going along with this, it’s also a bit annoying when I specify “no lions” in my trades and people still offer lions. Why would you offer a lion when I’m clearly not going to accept it, I don’t see the logic lol

I mostly agree with this—it’s very aggravating, and I totally understand the no lions(etc) part. I do have a bit of sympathy for those who don’t understand pricing, or just offer something a little below budget. But I know this is a big pet peeve for a low of people, and I try not to do it.

I guess my pet peeve would be when people change their (most likely already stunning) lion’s bases/mutation/etc to a new base just because it’s popular. A lot of times it doesn’t look good overall, and they just wasted whatever they spend on it. This also ties in to just popular bases that don’t look good with markings (or at all). It just ruins a perfectly fine lion. The only exception to this is when it looks good.

Do agree, as someone who plans out the colour schemes/patterns of my lions pretty carefully. I lovelove colourbombs, but only when all the parts work as a whole, if you will. Otherwise it's an eyesore D;

My pet peeve is when folks claim lions in the giveaways chat, and then either refuse to make room for them, or send the lions back. Beggars being choosers, in that second point. Like why bother claiming if you're not willing to take what you're given, and waste peoples' time?

That definitely sounds annoying. Though from what I see, most people only claim just so they can be the first ones to do it and not because they actually want it. I've found that most people don't even bother looking at lion links before pressing claim.

My pet peeve is people who ignore your messages centered around a trade. I get it, no ones obligated to answer pms sent to them. But if your trade says 'pm me questions' or something along those lines, what's the point if you're just gonna ignore me?

I definitely agree. If they're straight up saying to send questions if needed, then it's kinda crappy for them to not respond. Just gives me a reason not to buy from them.

My pet peeve is purists. AKA people who refuse to breed to, own, or buy any "dirty" lions. I would prefer to have clean lions, myself, but if it's a really pretty one, I'll make an exception. I especially think it's silly to not even entertain stud requests for dirty lionesses. I mean, how is that gonna affect them? It's not like the cubs are gonna be theirs lol. But on that same note, everyone has preferences, and that's completely fine.

i know, but then sometimes there is a decor that you need ( im trying to get every bird decor in the game, just because) but you don't know if there will be something better to get and the decor soon gets taken or you get the decor to soon find out there was something better then that

my pet peeve is for cost of somethings, like sometimes you need a feather or some meat for your lions or a snake quest but when you look at brach sales, its like 3000000 sb for no reason and you look in the tc but still can't find anything

That the giving tree has become a landfil for potato cubs. There are thousands of cubs in the tree and most of them should have just been used for fodder. In my opinion, the tree should be used for cubs that are at least slightly desirable.

I agree, I think the tree should almost be divided by slightly decent cubs and fodder potatoes, so people semi-know what they're getting into.

It might be an unpopular opinion but I don't like when people refuse/get rude about stud requests because a lioness is dirty, imo currency is currency and it's not like it's your lioness. I especially dislike it when they don't put anything in their rules regarding it and reject it out of nowhere. However, I can understand if the lioness is the king's daughter/granddaughter and they have an ick about that, that's definitely reasonable. Other than that, I don't think there's a need to be overly dramatic about it.

Totally agree! I feel like it's just unnecessary, it'd be one thing if your king is somehow related to the lioness but if it has no relations I don't see why it would matter.

I get a little irritated when people claim a lion in the giveaway chat just to chase them. I don't completely mind because I'm getting rid of them so I'm not all that attached anyway, but if you weren't planning to keep them why claim them especially when someone else could have taken and actually appreciated the lion. It's one thing if it's a potato but I like dropping good looking girls that I just can't take care of anymore. I once had a claimer claim just to chase them later when there were multiple people claiming for the same lion. It makes me a little sad since those other people may have appreciated the lion more. I just feel a little bad for not choosing someone else at that point.
I feel like a lot of people see an exciting message then get a fomo feeling and claim without actually looking at the lion before hand, then not caring about them and discarding them afterwards.

I could only really understand doing that if it was part of a bundle - otherwise, maaaybe if it's been a few days and they have adolescents aging and no space? Oh, or possibly chasing an adult female with inbreeding for the chance to cleanse her heritage as a chased NCL 0: But yeah, that seems annoying! I don't follow up with checking on lions I give away though, so it doesn't affect me a whole lot ^^

I'm bothered a bit when people don't use current branch or trade center prices as a reference when making a trade. Like listing a Buffalo Scrotum for 80 GB while there are a bunch listed at 20ish GB already. Or wanting to use "potential" prices as a factor in a trade. Like in September - yes, I KNOW GMO Cows can go for 60 GB... in 7 or so months, but right now they are 15 GB. Why should I have to wait 7 months to get the proper value of the trade while you get the item(s) you want immediately?
