Hi! Thanks for accepting me ♥ The last few weeks on lioden I figured out what I want to breed and got rid of all my dirty lions. My heir(already 1500+Stats through loads and loads of patrolling) unfortunately has Ysdaar in his heritage and I'm trying to avoid that stud for the latest breedings. Would really appreciate the stating guide! I kinda have another male lion as possible heir with a good linage but he's still under two and I was no able to patrol him yet. Apologies, I missed your last message! Would you mind linking them? It would help to be able to see them. I avoid Ysdaar myself simply because of how hard it is to avoid inbreeding since so many lions have him in their heritage. My playstyle is no inbreeding, so that might not apply to you. That being said, it's always at least good to let your heirs age up and get their stats from cub training before kinging, so if that isn't possible, the Ysdaar lion might be a better bet. The other question to ask yourself is "what are the generations of these lions?" Are they short gen, or much longer gen (as most lions with Ysdaar in the heritage are)? In that case, I would steer toward the lower gen heir since people generally prefer them for studding and avoiding inbreeding. This is not a universal preference. Some people do not care about generation or inbreeding, but a large majority of the player base does, so it should be something you consider before kinging. 0 players like this post! Like? |

No problem I just wanted to reach out again 🤗 Dios this is the Ysdaar one. I started avoiding Ysdaar as well the last few weeks with my lions and I'm breeding clean Especial This is the other one. I could use a ageing crystal on him. That way he would age up tomorrow. His training is already finished. I'm just sad about missing out to patrol him 0 players like this post! Like? |

This might not be what you want to hear, but I wouldn't king either of them. Dios's problem is obviously Ysdaar, but Especial has a long heritage for a statter king. If it were me, I'd get a G2 or G3 lion to use as king. I understand you might not have that option since you are limited on time, so the second one is probably a better option in that case. Also, fun thing I noticed - Especial is related to my statters Asterus and Zelgius, as well as one of my favorite lionesses, Delixena haha 0 players like this post! Like? |

Haha no that's kinda what I expected since I was reading up about stating. But as you already mentioned I'm kinda running out of time. I will try for a short heritage heir after this one. Yes, May will make it very easy and cost effective to get a G1 male to stat up as an heir, so that's very true! And if you really like your king's looks, you can always keep his looks and just make him G1 using a groupie. I was wondering if there is anything you can do to make your submale less likely to fail his patrols? Or how many patrols per day should he be going on to make substantial stat gains? This is my currently my heir https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794188702390 . I bought him at 450, stat trained up to 525, and now he's been on 53 patrols in the past 6 days, but has only gained 81 stats from them. I've slacked (and probably shouldn't have rolled) over easter, but I've been sending him on around 10 patrols per day and it feels like he doesn't make stat gains easily. I plan on feeding him as many egg yolks as he is able to eat this month once tier 3 opens up, but I would really like to see him at at least 2k stats when I king him and start planning how to be even better at statting for my next king. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to ensure that he gains stats. Submales will fail patrols and return with absolutely nothing to show for it quite frequently. That's just RNG, and we have no power over it at all. If you can consistently patrol your male 10 (or more) times a day and use a stat amusement item (and a stat food item if you can afford one) each day, you will see significant gains over time. However, these gains may take several in-game years to be noticeable, so with him being so young, it is normal to not be seeing any kind of significant growth as of yet. Typically, I can get around 5k stats on a submale between 2 years and 15 years during their patrolling. In that 13 year time frame, that would mean that my submale is only gaining around 384 stats in a year. It doesn't sound like much, but it will add up over time, I promise. Even if you only get 250 stats on him a year, as long as you patrol him until he's 14 years 11 months, he is likely end up gaining over 3250 stats in that time period. Just keep patrolling him and you WILL see progress. Like many things on Lioden, it just takes time. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

As you start to run out of egg yolks, what should you go for after running out? I still have 170 yolks and another 50 on a friend's frozen account for a stash nearer the end of his training, but should I slow down to 5 eggs a day instead of as many as he can eat so they last a bit longer? @Morr 🔥 {Cinder} (#26583) I would recommend using all the Yolks sooner than later. Going down to 5 Yolks won't accomplish anything in reality. Once you run out, I recommend switching to Honeycombs. That is what I use on my stat reps for most of the year. If those are too expensive, you can use any number of the stat items from this list on the wiki. I have a preference for Turtle Eggs, Gerbil Carcasses and Small Tortoises, but you have a lot of options! 1 player likes this post! Like? |

I didn't know gerbils gave stats at a decent rate o.O alright I will supplement honeycombs with gerbils, small torts, turtle eggs, etc. The reason I mentioned going down to 5 is that I really haven't had ANY luck at all with anything over 4 yolks, or at least I usually get a zero the first yolk, 2-4 good(nonzero) rolls, and then alternating 0s and good rolls, but it never gives me more than 4 good rolls depending on how many yolks I'm using It's like it knows 👀👀 0 players like this post!
