@ Chow.Hound, you need to fight if not you aren´t going to get anything, if I have to count all the Axion Cores I get with no fighting are 5 - 8 and no more in the whole day, All Axion Cores to get to actually get them you need to fight.

And I agree with Sarah it´s just day 3. The first day with the 5 shards I got around 65 Axion Cores, once the 2 shards was implemented between later the first day and second day I got 200 Axion Core (not counting the previous 65) It´s way too much for 1 day and if it keeped going like that with 2 shards for the whole month (31 days! just doing math 200 x 31 = 6200, if you divide it by 100 that is the max price on shop you get 62. At the end of the month you have 62 Base App! Even if you have a Celestial Theme pride it´s a lot) would have been crazy And as Rowan mentioned the idea is not to have unlimited shards the idea is that you run out of them at some point (Literally let´s say you can get max of 10 Axion Cores per day as one person mentioned they got without fighting and I don´t know if for hours or that´s all they got the whole day. 10 x 31 = 310, at the end of the month you can buy 3 App or 1 and the rest spend it on whatever you want and this is how it works for all the events not just this one)

Just on the last month event, in previous years I didn´t got much from the shop and never was able to buy an app because instead I decided to buy decors because all I got would have gone on 1 app. This year I was able to get enought to get 3 Apps (1 from the 3 shops) because I was able to play more/I decided to fight more and got another strategy. (Normally I would only try to complete Seth, Anubis or Bast quests to get the 10 kepri but this year I totally ignore them and just fought to get the money/kepri and got more. And I don´t even buy , got no IRL money for that and not even spent the I have on energy bust. The max I use if needed is Bone Marrow that you can buy for 80 to get 20% energy and can only be use 1 per day)

As you all mentioned some are being lucky and others not but decreasing again to 2 shards would be broken and not solve anything, the right thing would be for everyone to be able to get something withouth being extremelly easy nor too difficult, the best as mentioned many times by many people before is to increase the events encounters + shards drops from explore (both to be more frecuent and give more shards) and decrease the difficulty in the enemies.

Maeryll I can see where some of you adjustments could work, but some things (like the step limit), and the extra energy from the explore gives u a chance to find more shards to explore, and the prices amount inflation's are a bit big...

I’m debating not rolling over either , my side account is already frozen and it’s really not fun playing this event . Even last year with 5 shards per step I already hated it and only played for the murder stone since it gave more energy . I was SO excited to finally be able to enjoy an event without endless grinding and 30 minutes after expressing my happiness they took it away -_-

I understand EVERYONE’s complaints about both sides to the coin , but a lot of people just wanna have fun . I’m constantly on lioden to the point my boyfriend even knows the game and he doesn’t even play ! But at the same time I don’t want to focus all my energy on here some times . Sometimes I DO want to , but for events like this and February + September where people are constantly grinding just for items , it’s tiring !!

RandomNorwegian (#144339) I can see how this event if rather frustrating for people with chronic illness (I suffer some myself), and I do agree that yes, the event should be adjusted to be a bit easier and less grindy, cause I may have gotten a lot of cores last year, but that was because I do have quite the abysmal sleep schedule aswell, but 2 shards was just a lil to low, 3-4 is def better then either 2 or 5

What no one is paying attention to is the fact that just joining an event already half/mostly into the month I was able to afford 2 apps and several other items on my main, and had enough to buy an app and items on my side.. and my side joined WAY late into June. So realistically if everyone played from day 1 to the end, they should have had double/triple the amount of kb I had. 🤷‍♀️

The economy isn’t going to break over old apps that are on thousands of lions already and return EVERY SINGLE YEAR. Just let players enjoy an event instead of trying to preserve a fake economy. I spent easily nearly 200$ last month and bought plenty of energy boosts to grind for fun for the last event. I even saved some and bought more to prep for July’s event because there’s SO much I want. But now it feels worthless to spend the money and time doing anything for this event because there’s no payout. A full bar of energy, 4-10 shards from explore.. 2 single steps in celestial explore and I’m done for HOURS. It’s boring, it sucks. I’m frustrated. I had an absolute BLAST when the shards were 2 for explore and I get it. But immediately raising it to 5 again, refusing to compromise with a majority of players to bring it down to 3 or anything is just upsetting. I don’t want to spend any of my hard earned money on this game for this month because it isn’t worth it.

To the person who obviously doesn't understand why plenty of people are upset. It's not worth grinding an event when you only manage to get a max of 3-18 steps a day. Unless you have plenty of GB to buy energy to constantly explore and MAYBE get a few more steps. It's not fair to the new players or to the people who generally just want to play the event. I have literally been on all day and I see no point in playing the event anymore except maybe the lioness.

I actually did address that in one of my comments partyhound, as I mentioned that it's the beginning of the month, and we shouldn't be able to get that many axion cores in less than 3 days, when we have a whole month to get these things

I'm espcially confused though as like, people can deal with low explore returns In February, which have expensive apps and not as expensive but still pricey breeding items, and is overall way more grindy than this, yet I don't ever see people complain Abt those lol

And isn't June also a primarily a fighting month? And don't u also loose actually energy from a fight in that event? I took me all month last year to gather enough beetles for a base apps, but, I don't think I ever see peeps complain over it...

What if they did reduce it again and instead changed the prices to the shop? Since a lot of people are saying it would be too easy to gain the items.

@ Sarah, Exactly! And Yes, june is a fighting month and loose energy and personally I think that what this one has even better is that you can get shards in normal explore spending 100% energy and on Celestial you don´t need it. (Yes, if you fight with energy you loose the 10% like normal fight but that´s why you need to check to not waste it in there)

About February the reason you can say you get a lot of the currency it´s because the items are expensive too, and in simultanious this event is more comparable with december I think where the shop is not that expensive but is balanced with the low currency you get from explore. (And literally here there´s nothing you can do to get more, no storyline, just giving gifts to other players and explore, that´s it. Some even make pop games where all the participants of the threads give each other poop) Each event have a mechanic + currency limit you can get + low/high price on shop

And as someone that don´t spend RL money here and just do it for free, you are still able to get things. Some events more than other but you can if you try. And there are some that don´t log everyday or have frozen accounts. Last year I had my side acount froze (not on this one but other events) and still got enought.

I must of missed your comment so I’m just echoing my past words and current thoughts.

No we shouldn’t be able to get that many axion cores in a single day. 2 was exploitable, but there has to be a better compromise than the abysmal drop rate in normal explore and a 5 shard step cost. I’m well and happy to dump real money into a game to buy energy boosts and stuff, but when you get a max of maybe 10 shards in normal explore, it isn’t worth my money or my time to continuously try to get more shards just to get a few steps and have to stop playing.

The June event, since that’s where I entered the game for the first time on both accounts, was worth the money and energy boosts I used for it. Yeah, it was all fighting, but it was still well worth it and that even deducts 10 energy per battle won. There’s no reason why I should be willing to spend hundreds of dollars on gb for that event which sucks energy up like a hog and not on an event with a whole new realm to explore. The drop rates need to drastically increase to keep the 5 shard step rate or they need to drop it down to 3. Hell, even make the stupid apps 400 ac per. I don’t care. If the fake economy is so important and upset over the apps, then increase their price. I promise that’s not the problem at hand lmao
