The river otter sank down into the water, cursing the ripples above her under her breath. god damnit. why did water have to move so much? She put her head above the surface slightly to see what was going on, attempting to slowly swim backwards away from the scene.

Aphrodite suddenly saw the otter backing away, whipping her head towards the motion. "Hello!"

Spice flinched at the sudden movement, clearly surprised. She was hesitant for a moment, her mouth feeling clamped shut as she tried to figure out what to do. After a moment the large otter dived under the water, creating a tiny wave as she pierced the water's surface and vanished out of sight.

Suddenly, a big flash of golden orange flew out from the trees, jumping on where the otter had disappeared. The big cat missed, searching around for the small-big animal.

Spice stopped swimming, looking up at the surface. For some reason, the fact that this stranger had tried to attack her just pissed her off. The otter's eyes narrowed, swimming up to the surface and poking her head out from the water.

The otter merely hissed in response, her fur bristled in annoyance. Her first thought was that the weird hybrid.. thing, had been trying to attack her. she wasnt really aware of any other reasons they would've done what they did a few moments ago.

A growl rose in her throat, carefully moving out of the water. She knew she couldnt beat a tiger, but she could pack a bite and hoped this hybrid knew that. Spice puffed out her fur in attempts to be intimidating, her claws scraping wet dirt.

Sayha bristled her fur, ready to leap down on the tigers neck if it attacked. Her body shook, and she unsheathed her claws, gripping onto the bark. She flattened her small body against the rough surface, a growl rumbling throughout her whole body.

The river otter's eyes narrowed, giving a short growl. she didn't really understand why she was being called a "stick", but it didnt sound good. Especially being said by a big cat version of a mutt.
