Currently the "Night" theme on lioden is still very bright, and if you are someone like me who tends to play at night, the brightness is VERY noticeable and starts to hurt my eyes. I'm suggesting a darker version of night mode, replacing the blue-ish grey with a dark grey (almost black) with white text, with the same trees/background as night mode. This would save players like me with eye strain issues from not being able to play for very long before our eyes start to feel like we're staring at the sun. Ideally the text color would be customizable WITHOUT using a css Please let me know why/why not you've supported the idea, as I'd like to know what to change/add/remove  |

A dark mode is already in the works and should be available when the recode arrives! If memory serves, it's not unlike what you are suggesting, albeit, with the same background as shown at the side of the screen for night mode as well. 3 players like this post! Like? |

Iirc from what older players have said, the recode has been in the works for years. While I'm happy its coming eventually, I still can't handle playing lioden with more then 10% brightness on my laptop, which makes text hard to read and even then still hurts a bit when my eyes adjust to it. A dark mode would be a genuine help to people with eye strain issues like myself 0 players like this post! Like? |

I keep getting flashbanged whenever I switch tabs from discord to lioden, so I figured I might as well suggest it. It hurts my eyes a ton staring at a bright ass screen, which is why every app/website I go to regularly is in dark mode 1 player likes this post! Like? |

yes pls. a decade ago I pushed lioden to implement an alternative to the #FFFFFF pure-white-bg and they came up with Night Time style which was a great relief to my migraines. I feel that it's been long enough to implement an actual dark-mode for the remaining tension relief. My Dark Reader browser extension doesn't touch the site because of how it's coded, so I'd like a real dark-mode. 3 players like this post! Like? |

I support this. Side note, If you have eyestrain issues, I recommend using f.lux. It’s a free downloadable software that blocks the blue light on your screen. I used it on all of my computers at this point because I am a software developer and therefore stare at screens constantly. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

My laptop has a built in nightlight mode, which blocks a ton of blue light thankfully, but the main issue on lioden is the pure brightness 1 player likes this post! Like? |

I don't have any visual ailments but just prefer the aesthetic of dark modes. I do have multiple friends who do have vision issues that dark modes on their phones and different websites have greatly reduced the impact of. I think this is a wonderful idea. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

i support/agree because literally if i look at my screen too long aswell my eyes will, too, start feeling weird or like in a burning way, and it dosent go away for awhile which means NO screen time at all for a bit until i feel better. i really hope this gets added!! 0 players like this post! would say definitely don't have it a pitch black, maybe like a discord kind of dark mode theme? on a completely black background the lighter colours stand out way too much and is a eyesore, making the white writing hard to read. A soft grey like some of the themes you can see on sites like better discord, or the general search engine dark mode would look awesome. Dimming my screen is way too inconvenient as then i can't read text on other apps. 3 players like this post! Like? |
