Huntray slowly retreated to the water away from her pride, what does she do now? Could she ever betray her own king or should she disobey and still see her one love? She sat as tears began to form.

Grim'Heart ran further into the pridelands, soon reaching the badlands. Filled with deadly hyenas laughing chaotically and exiled or outcasted lions, she counted herself as one of the outcasts.

Huntray began her jury home she wished to speak with Grim'Heart before but couldn't find her. She took the long way, stalking past the badlands border and through the marsh till she found herself just outside her territory. "Whatever will we do...?" She breathed to herself.

Grim'Heart managed to make some friends and was making a lot of noise with them. The thoughts of her pride at the back of her mind, and thoughts of Huntray at the front.

Despite this, she tried to not worry much. She hoped war would not happen and that she could keep making memories with Huntray, her one and only mate.

The noise grew from the badlands but Huntray shewed them away, though she had the biggest urge to investigate. Her friend Blackstripe came and sat next to her, trying to reassure her that war was the best and only option. And no lionesses would be harmed. Huntray tuned her out.

Grim'Heart told her new friends that she best go hunt, in reality she did want to hunt, but she wanted to get away from everyone and be alone for a bit. When she got out of the badlands territory, she spotted Huntray and tears filled her eyes quickly. Grim ran over as fast as she could and jumped on Huntray, pinning her down and hoping that her friend didn't take it as an attack.

Huntray chuckled and submitted, "I wondered when you'd come!" She'd rolled and pinned Grim'Heart to the ground locking her ear and chuckling playfully. This was good timing she had gotten rid of Blackstrioe for the most part.

Grim giggled and purred softly, rolling over and pinning Huntray again. She nipped at Huntray's ear, forgetting her own strength andmaccidentally ripping it with her teeth. When she realized, she instantly got off. "I'm...so sorry-" Grim'Heart winced, her ears flattened. She saw a larger lion walking up to them, looking like Velvetstar but with a very angered look, he looked like he was ready to attack.

Huntray winced as blood was drawn, she scented Velvetstar approaching and stood fast in front of him. "We where just tussling she didn't mean to-" Velvetstar growled and took a step forward, "Don't test me! You!" He glanced at Grim, "Dtay away or face the consequences!" He roared and stalked off before turning to Huntray, "Come. You are to stay in the pride." He walked off.

Grim'Heart's ears twitched with fury as she roared out. "No! Huntray is my friend, actually...my BEST friend, my ONLY friend!" She growled, knowing that they were more than friends. Her claws unsheathed, she was dug them into the sandy dirt, as if she were getting ready to pounce.

Velvet star turned and leaped over Huntray pinning Grim down he growled low, Huntray slunk down nor too sure what to do. "I SAID not to test me rat! If she was a friend of yours she won't be any longer!" He nipped at her ear that turned away.

Grim winced a bit but fought back, she slashed deep into the king's eye before kicking his underbelly and kicking him off. "Huntray, we should probably make a break for it-" Grim murmured softly, looking to her mate.

Velvet star roared out in anger distracted, Huntray bounded up to Grim her ear now stinging, "Let's go!" She bounded off into the badlands hearing Velvet call after, "You too soft for this pride! Leave and never come back!"

After a while, Grim'Heart panted. "Hey...you could, uh- stay with my pride for a bit...we'll make an excuse, im sure of it, and I think Fire knows that I love you. I'm not sure how, though." Grim stopped and laid on a rock, catching her breathe.
