At fires word Huntray and the rest of her small pride froze. "You KILLED them!?" Both her and velvetstar said in sync. Huntray knew most and some where counted as her siblings. Velvetstar held back tears as he backed away, Huntrays small crew followed him glancing back at Huntray and the rest as they left. Huntray could no longer hold it in she had felt enough pain. She ran, past Fires pride through the dead lionesses and into the badlands beyond.

"Not all of them!-" Fire called out, Grim raced after Huntray, but it was too much for her asthma. She began wheezing and coughing, panting too. "Wait!...Huntray.." She panted, collapsing not too long after.

Huntray layed down and tears fell onto her paws, how did this happen!? She lost so many but she wants Grim....does she wasn't her? A dusky lion that looked quite old approached and sat next to her. "Your torn by love and loyalty." His voice was clear like a falling feather. "You must not let that define who you choose young one." Huntray looked up at the male, seeing him she remembered him from her prides tales, "Sphinx? Is....is that you?" Her dead grandfather had come to her aid.

Grim laid cold and no breathe in her, she felt like she was dying. Her chest hurt badly and she was wheezing heavily. "H...unt...ray.." She broke out in tears, her voice broken.

"Go to her, she has little time left." Sphinx said, Huntray awallowed hard he was right I had to go back at some point. Huntray stood but didn't seethe her claws just yet, she padded back the way she came before seeing a body. Her heart left as she recognized her. She ran and layed by Grims side locking her vigorously, "I'm here your going to be ok..." she kept cleaning the wound trying to slow the blood flow and hopefully help her breath as she locked the wrong way of her fur.

Grim'Heart winced softly. "G...o.. Go get...Fire.." She murmured softly. "He'll bring...the..meds.." She murmured again, this time softer. Her eyes slowly fluttering closed

"D-dont leave me now! Sphinx I need you!" She'd call but no answer came. "I'm not going anywhere you hear!" She conti ued licking but faster, she gave Grim'Hearts face a gentle lick tring to encourage her eyes to stay open. I can't loose her now not now! She thought to herself.

She passed out from blood loss, but she wasn't dead yet. Fire came by with a few med lions in case the two were hurt. They instantly ran over, and the meds started treating Grim'Heart.

Huntray glared at Fire the entire time hate bubbling up like fire, she kept it all down inside as she lay be Grim'heart, she cleaned the wound out pretty well but not enough for it not to get infected.

Grim's breathing became steadier and she slowly opened her eyes. "Ngh.." She groaned, still in pain

Huntray stayed still, continuing to stare at Fire, maybe if she said somthing to scare him off that would work. She felt warmth return to Grim and she happily turned to her liking her cheek, "Thank you Sphinx..." she whispered.

Fire sat still, his ears drooped down low and his face held a sad expression. Grim'Heart was his favorite lioness, and it hurt his to see her this way.

Hutray stood and turned to Fire, "How many." She said surprised by the calmness in her voice. Her tail lashed back and forth and her claws stayed out as she repeated her question with more force, "How many!?"

"All of your family survived since they knew you were here. The others who tried to actually kill us? Not so lucky." Fire murmured, keeping his gaze on Grim'Heart.

"Witch ones, describe them." She huffed taking a step forward. Huntray resented this war this war should have never happend in the first place, she wanted to tell him all of this but these where the only words she could muster, "We didn't steal prey."
