Now, I know a lot of you probably gawked at the title, but hear me out! The RL raffle ticket prices should be raised to one GB. 1. The current 50 SB price feels more like an annoyance, rather than an actual fee. It might as well be a free ticket with it being so low. 2. It prevents a lot of new players from entering the raffle. At first, this might sound like a bad thing, but really it isn't. A lot of new players do not understand the value of raffle lionesses (As we saw lately with the Soul RL) and may be yelled at or bullied for changing their lioness. Not to mention, it can really stress out a new player to be bombarded with people asking to buy their lion. 3. It gives older players a chance to win. There are several people who joined in 2014-2016 who have never won an RL, despite how many times they've entered into the raffle. Now, I'm not saying that they deserve it just for joining earlier than others, but it would feel more fair to give them a better chance at winning. Older players tend to have more currency than newer players & especially with the recent boom in players, there should be more of a chance for older players to still win. 4. It balances out the economy. The game has only 1 real GB sink - The oasis. This poses a problem bc as players purchase more GB without a place for it to go, the value of GB significantly drops. The oasis essentially stops the circulation of some GB, but it's still not enough. By making there be a weekly 1 GB fee to enter into the Lioness Raffle, it creates another GB sink & raises the value of it. This is especially helpful now with the way that piebald and primal prices have plummeted, if GB goes up, the value of those lions does too. 5. It's good for the company. There will be people who constantly buy GB to enter into the raffle. This would be another way to fund the game, and compared to how much people pay to purchase RLs, their heats, or their clones, it's an extremely small price to pay. 6. It's good for those who enter. Less of the site will be able to afford purchasing a ticket, meaning that there will be a significantly higher chance to win when you do enter. Not to mention, those who are less well off will be more selective on which raffles they enter, meaning that there will be even less competition. Not to mention that if a player were to win an RL, those can easily go for 1k GB each. Meaning, you'll be reimbursed for that 1 GB about a thousand times. Not such a steep price, huh? 7. GB isn't that hard to get. Food can be accumulated through explore or hunting & even selling it to monkey business can get you a lot of SB to turn into GB quick! The game would be further rewarding players who play the game the way it was intended by offering a special raffle that they could enter. New players who are dedicated to it could still make 1 GB by the end of the week. If you have any suggestions let me know, and if you disagree i'd love to hear your thoughts! I think I like it how it is now. The RL is made for anyone to have a new, really nice girl for them to do what they want with it. While I was upset a tiny bit about the Soul RL, it was ultimately the new player's new girl, so they could do what they wanted with her. I think there should be a second, maybe small bit better RL for more experienced players. Maybe players who have been active for a few months or more. I understand there is problems with that but I think the 50 SB is nice, so it's accessible to anyone who wants to try for her.  11 players like this post! Like? |

As someone who's been playing for about 2 years, sometimes we simply don't have the funds. I've run into the "You can't afford" fee quite a few times at just 50sb Not to mention that your king has to be dreamboat, so new-new players who don't grind impression can't enter the RL anyway. Personally, the best chance at blocking newer users would possibly be implementing a block like they did for the anniversay- not allowing brand new users to get the free stuff. The block could be a 30-day RO type ordeal like I've seen other users mention nefore Although I don't have an issue with newer users winning. It's just luck of the draw 8 players like this post! The point is to make it a little less accessible, for the reasons i listed above. That person got so much hate and had no idea what they had done wrong. Not to mention, GB is easy to get. If you hunt and sell a package of 100 food uses for 1 GB, you would then have enough to enter the raffle. The point of my suggestion is to also protect newer players who might not understand the community around RLs and how valuable they really are. I really feel for that person bc while it was shocking to me that they would base change her, they had no clue that she was special. Imagine hundreds of people leaving sometimes nasty comments on your den page just bc you base changed your lion. 0 players like this post! Like? |

i think the dreamboat requirement is enough. Old players aren't entitled to RLs, and its really not that big of a deal. There are literally countless RLs on the site, so who cares if ONE isn't hoarded and maximized? There will be many more to come after it as well 13 players like this post! Like? |

I think that's fine to not have the funds. I personally dont have stacks and stacks of GB either, but i still believe in the suggestion bc part of it *is* not having the funds. It means that players could either work hard to get the RL, or they could be more selective on which RL raffles they enter. Any player, new or old, could easily get 1 GB in a day from exploring and hunting. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@akiosecret That's part of it. Those RLs will likely never spread bc new players often dont know what a crunchy worm is and dont have the funds to get one. The markings might spread, but honestly a lot of new players play for about a month before dipping. And honestly, after the whole fiasco with the Soul RL, i wouldnt be surprised if that person quit by the end of next week. 0 players like this post! Like? |

As an older player who has played for several years, I think it is wonderful that younger players get the chance to win a lioness they really love. Are people jealous of them? SURE. But is that any reason to restrict that from them? NO. Let players have fun. The system should stay as it is. Not everyone wants to accumulate food every week to claim a raffle lioness, especially people like me who NEED that food at the bare minimum to keep their pride from running. Keep it at 50 sb. Or if you want to increase it, make it 100 or 200. 1 gb is too much of a stretch. Lets keep the raffle lionesses open to EVERYONE who may want one, who have worked hard enough to get to dreamboat to get one. Being a dreamboat is a good enough restriction. Earning gb is not the "CORRECT" way to play the game, let people play how they would like to. Not everyone needs to endlessly grind to make money to be playing this game correctly. That is the entire reason this game is fun: Because you can do whatever you please. There's no rush to make money if you don't need it. There is no 'intended' way to play this game. And for the "Older players have more currency" spiel, I don't have much gb nor do I have the many sb on me at any time. That argument is awful. This isn't supposed to come off as rude, and apologies if it does, but we do NOT need to fix something that isn't broken. What NEEDS to be fixed is the harassment of players who win them. If they haven't put them up for sale, people shouldn't ask to buy them and and leave it at that. If someone hasn't said the lion is for sale, people should learn to assume it ISNT FOR SALE. It is not lioden's fault other players are assholes. People need to learn to say congratulations and move on. Stop being jealous of newer players because they get lucky. What about the super rich people who have an entire line of RLCs to themselves, refusing to sell clones? If your argument is the markings aren't being spread, then what do you propose we do about them? The Ra lioness that everyone shat themselves over hasn't been spreading, and several others I've seen have only a couple clones that are all in the same pride. The answer? We do nothing. Its their lioness, their choice, and this should apply to EVERYONE, regardless of how new they are. 12 players like this post! Like? |

People are allowed to hoard RLs and their lines, I 100000% support anybody who owns a private line. However, you saying "who cares if ONE isn't hoarded and maximized?" implies that they'll spread more easily going to new players, but that's just not true. What if to stop harassment of new players, you focus on the issue of people finding the RL in the first place? Instead of targeting newer players, target the search function that allows the RL to be searched for 14 players like this post! Like? |

I think this is a great idea! New players may not understand or care how important the RL traits are. I lost count how many go to chat panicking about their pride about to leave due to hunger/boredom. Also they could alter it to fit their personal preference. A specific RL trait introduced might not be put on another for months if not years later. Can't blame folks for wanting to clone them. Future breeding projects are riding on those RLs. Many RL lines have gone extinct. Those who "hoard" them most likely just want to prevent the ones they love from dieing out. Cloning isn't cheap nore is it guaranteed to be successful. I've heard and seen folks try heat after heat just to get 1 clone even with buffy balls every time. For slots if you need a specific one most folks with it will be willing to lend a paw one way or another. That's how I got *this girl* for my breeding project. It seriously isn't hard to get gb no matter how folks try wording it. I actually got my very first gb the same day I made my account! This is a strategy game. If you learn the basics on the first day and strategize you'll get farther than not. Participating in the monthly events is extremely helpful. I kid you know when I say I get around 90% of my currency from event items. 4 players like this post! Like? |

Hmmmm... after thinking on it a bit I tenatively support. It's a bit of a bandaid fix on a broken system, but it's still a fix nonetheless. I wouldn't mind paying 1gb to enter the raffle each week and it's a smart way to have the RL available for mostly more knowledgable players. I don't hate the idea of a RL going to a newbie but it's rough when she's the main way to spread new traits and new players are not given the knowledge neccessary to understand why she is so valued. Figuring out how to get 1gb is something you figure out once you're more invested in the game, so it's a clever way to make the pool of people entering for the RL smaller and ensure it'll likely go to a player who will know what to do with her. 7 players like this post!
