Talking with others isnโt easy for some, it wasnโt for me when I was younger.โ She stated as she looked around camp at all the catโs socializing. She may not know everyone in the tribe, but she had never seen Flower before. Flame | Forest + Warrior | Forest Camp | Eagle Flame chuckled softly at the thought of Dove trying to tear his fur off; she could never. However the tom got his point, maybe he should try to be more understanding. Dove | Forest + Hunter Future | Forest Camp | Midnight Dove stayed focused on Flower for a moment. The other she-cat seemed kind, well, from what she could tell. Maybe she would try and introduce herself later. Doveโs ears flattened slightly at the mention of her brother, looking over at the scruffy looking tom. Why did he get the more colorful pelt if he couldnโt even keep it looking nice? Her tail flicked in annoyance. โYes.. yes thatโs him.โ Dove replied with a nod, shaking her head as she watched her older brother attempt to fix his fur miserably. Flame | Forest + Warrior | Forest Camp | Eagle โYes I suppose youโre rightโฆ again.โ Flame responded, the feeling of embarrassment creeping back up. โThatโs another thing I donโt get, this fur. Thereโs too much of it.โ The Flame point hissed, quickly licking down what he could. Why was he cursed with such thick fur? It was a blessing during the colder seasons, but it was a disaster to keep clean. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw both Midnight and Dove looking at him and froze for a moment. His fur grew hot, not exactly enjoying the idea of them talking about him, and shifted uncomfortably. โHow do you keep your fur so nice Eagle?โ Flame asked, looking the tom over. He had decently long coat himself, yet it always looked nice. Was it simply because it was much darker? Or because Eagle actually out in effort. 0 players like this post! What things does he tell you that 'help' you?" she decided to ask a mild tone of amusement as she looked towards the tom mildly amused at the toms failed attempt at fixing his fur. She offered the tom a smile as she noticed him look over at them. Her ears perked up rather interested in what Dove would have to say about what he had told his sister. Fox | Forest + Hunter | Forest Territory | Ash Amused, Fox let out a chuckle. To his surprise Ash was on his paws way too fast again, making his laugher calm down. As he listened to the other cat's plan on how to effectively figure out if the new cat was good or not, he tried hard not to giggle at the silly idea. However his idea probably weren't much better, although... everything he did was simply better! Ash was close second though, so his trail of thought might actually work. "What are we waiting for then? Shoo, back to camp Ash! And make sure to put on the most convincing tone you have so that Storm really understands our point! Now run, come on!" He ducked himself and sprung up with the energy that was stored in his paws, before sprinting towards the direction of the camp, only halting to check if Ash was following... (repost <3) Flight | Forest + Healer | Forest Camp | Open (creek/wren)? The brown cat huffed. She was exhausted and in a terrible mood, wandering around camp like a bee was chasing her. Flight mumbled something along the lines of 'why are they so silent?', 'speak up' and 'if only I could do something'. Not that she was talking to someone though, it was herself she was arguing with. Abruptly she stopped, somewhere along the side of the camp and sat down, tired from running around. Their ancestors had been quiet for some time now, it worried the she cat and at first she hadn't thought of bothering Midnight with it. Now that it had been a couple moonfalls she was sure she had to tell someone... who would be able to listen and give her good advice, probably Creek! If I were to be myself Iโd be doing what Iโm doing now. A-and I donโt think anyone will make fun of me..โ Dove trailed off. Yes she did. โBut I donโt know. Thereโs not too many my age, I donโt really know what to talk about.โ She responded with a shrug. It was hard to talk to the adults of the clan. Most of the time it was about the weather or border patrol or hunting. Which were all fine subjects for clan life conversation, but Dove wanted more. Flame | Forest + Warrior | Forest Camp | Eagle โFish and honey eh?โ Flame commented, simply ignoring the comment about regular grooming. โYou know, I never considered eating honey. Got it on my paws once and it was pretty good, Iโll give it another go.โ The flame point was now imagining his fur, soft and luxurious. Maybe he would give Eagleโs advice a shot. However, Flame was known for being a wild bundle of fluff his whole life - would it really change? โAs for the river, maybe thatโs something Iโll skip for now.โ Flame said with a small shiver. Even thinking about the river made him feel freezing. โPlus no one would want to see me with wet fur.โThe warrior added with a laugh. Sure Flame was a big, stocky cat but a lot of his size was due to his fluff. He looked awfully awkward with wet fur. 0 players like this post! Like? |

All everyone wants to mostly talk about with me is hunting, patrolling and things involving the tribe. Thatโs why I try and take the opportunity to talk to cats like you, because I know there will be more things to talk about that just tribe life.โ She stated as she looked around camp. When they did, he bounced on his paws as if jumping to attention and ran off again, chasing after Fox. His paws were light across the ground as he bounded after Fox, thoughts of the delicate little mushrooms in his mind. Yes. This plan was sure to work. Anyone who didnโt find the mushroomsโand Fox for that matterโadorable was simply wrong. Ash had no hesitations chasing out a cat, but he would do it gladly if they could prove and convince to Storm as well that the cat was evil. And it was foolproof! Well, things in the Tribe had been peaceful so she could see how conversations could grow boring. โI appreciate you taking the time to talk to me.โ Dove responded with a soft purr. Usually by now the young she-cat wouldโve snuck out to do some hunting on her own, or even just enjoy the views of the forest. โHonestly, thatโs how many of my conversations seem to go as well. I think cats default to talking about the weather and hunting when they canโt find anything else to talk about.โ Whenever she would talk to any of the older cats, they would always ask about her training and if she thought she had grown as a Hunter-Future. It all got quite repetitive. Dove actually felt comfortable talking to Midnight, it was nice. Flame | Forest + Warrior | Forest Camp | Eagle Although Flame hated the idea of going into the river, Eagle was right. Although not exactly old, the tom was 42 moons, and in his opinion not as attractive as he was in his earlier moons. If he wanted to attract a mate and carry on his lineage, he should probably start focusing on his appearance a bit more. โDove might be willing. Sheโs always said I need to take more pride in my coat.โ The truth was they hadnโt been talking as much lately. Besides the large age gap, there was no hiding that the two siblings were very different.
