Meadowlark was angry. She was supposed to challenge Queen Falcon first, instead Robin, her evil younger sister, had done it first. She was tempted to go back to the palace and kill Robin with her own claws, but she was smarter than that. She was the smartest out of the five royal daughters, three of which were already dead. Meadowlark flew out of Skywing territory and neared the Mud Kingdom. She could camp out for a while until she formulated a plan.

Flofern sunbathers at the edge of the rainforest, she wasn't quite welcome due to her being too smart for her own good. She wanted so bad to challenge the queen but alas failed and was now waiting the few years to try again.

Meadowlark took out a gem, a beautiful topaz, and enchanted it. "Bring me a dragon who feels the same way as me." she whispered. The topaz flew out of her talons and drifted southwest, towards the rainforest. She waited until the gem and a dragon came back.

Flowfern felt somthing nudge her wing, she opend an eye to a topaz. She stretched and watched as it floated off, "Ooo intresting. Fate take me where shall we go." She giggled and flew after with her rainbow esk stars wings.

Meadowlark sat up straighter as she saw the topaz and a dragon winging her way. The topaz dropped into Meadowlark's talons, and she whistled. "Down here!"

Flowfern glanced down and smiled, new friend? She dove and landed elegantly. "Hi! Is that floaty topaz yours?" She smiled folding her wings and letting her long tail curl around her talons.

Meadowlark scowled. "I'm Princess Meadowlark, banished from the Skywing kingdom by my evil sister, Robin. Yes, the floaty topaz is mine. I'm in need of a favor. In return, I'll grant you what you want most. I'm an animus." she said, flaring her wings.

Flofern was in awe, "No way I'm a prinsess to! Well used to be anyhow. What's the favor? I'd love to help with anything." She said excitingly, when Meadowlark mentioned the Animus part she instantly felt like asking a ton of questions, "Wait your an animus!? No way that's so cool!"

Meadowlark pulled out a small blue bracelet, and demonstrated to Flowfern. "Enchant this bracelet so that I cannot lose my soul as long as this bracelet is touching me." she said. She slipped the bracelet on and shuddered. She pulled out an hourglass, with one side with white sand and the other with black sand. "I made a replica of the original hourglass in the Nightwing ruins. This is a soul reader. See, the white sand shows me how much good I have left, and the black sand shows me how evil I am."

The black sand wasn't that much, only about ten to fifteen pieces. So Meadowlark wasn't evil.

Flofern gave a small shudder at the mention of the nightingale ruins, "That's intresting. I guess that good though because now your powerful and kind!" She smiled, Flowfern was one for going straight to the positive. "Do what'd the favor you need? I'm so ready to do somthing other than suntime haha!"

Meadowlark leaned in close to Flowfern. "I need you to help me take back the kingdom. Robin will throw it into utter chaos." she said.

"Oooo how would we do that? If you need a plan I got that down!" She smiled, Flowfern was a bit childish but when it came to serous things she'd be the smartest one there. "If you haven't noticed I've got venom and camouflage! Plus the future tells me we will succeed oh and rule side by side!"

Meadowlark rolled her eyes. "Robin's too smart for a full head-on assault. She'll have guards posted all over the kingdom by now, making sure I don't come back. When I drop this on the ground, show us the Skywing kingdom's current status." she said.

"So we steathly take out the guards then we storm in. If your planning to become queen I can't help with the battle as I know other tribes fight to become queen. But I can help with you getting back in!" She said excitedly.

Meadowlark shook her head. She dropped the diamond, and it rippled the grass to reveal the Skywing kingdom. Meadowlark grabbed Flowfern and dived into the Skywing kingdom, unfurling her wings at the last possible second.
