Meadowlark roared as the flames hit her, but she regained herself and launched at Robin. She pummeled her underbelly with razor-sharp talons and shredded her wings. "You made a mistake becoming queen this early, Robin. The Skywings know that I am the strongest princess out of Mother's daughters. Cowardly fool, only killing the weaker sisters and banishing the strongest one." Meadowlark hissed.

Robin roared in pain as her wings got shredded, "I make a better queen than they would have! Especially you!" She drew her strength and pinned Medowlark down, "I'll kill you just as I killed them!"

"Coward." Meadowlark grabbed Robin's jaws and shot another long burst of flame into them, throwing her sister off. She pounced and landed on Robin's back, grabbing her head. "For the Skywings!" Meadowlark shouted, snapping her neck. It was quiet for a few moments before Hawk shouted. "Behold! Queen Meadowlark of the Skywings!" he roared to the crowd.

Flowfern woke a few hours later stretching, she flew back down to the pavilion, "Still no word of the Grove?" She asked a nightwing, they shook there head. Flowfern sighed and sat down at the edge of the pavilion.

Meadowlark and Jaybug flew back to the rainforest, with the bodies of the fallen. Some were Rainwings, some were Nightwings, but they all died with honor. "Flowfern! We're back!" Jaybug called out, landing on the Royal Pavilion.

Flowfern piped up happily witch soon turned to sadness as she saw her fallen tribe members, "I'm so glad you guys are back!"

"I secured the throne for myself. Flowfern, as part of our deal, you have a room in the royal chambers of the Skywing palace and you get one quarter of the treasure in the treasury to share with your mother and the tribes. Can I see your gem quickly?" Meadowlark asked.

Flowfern nodded and smiled, she took the bracelet off and handed it to Medowlark, "I'd love to stay at the skywing palace. Maybe I can make julry out of the treasure your so kindly giving us!"

Meadowlark murmured at the gem and removed the enchantments, and added a new one. "Here. I enchanted it to give you animus magic, but remember, your soul is not protected. Use it for the good of the Rainwing and Nightwing tribes, and you won't grow evil. My soul is protected, and I have my soul reader." she said, handing the bracelet back to Flowfern.

She took out the soul reader and duplicated it, and gave one of them to Flowfern. "Read your soul each day to make sure you aren't going evil. If the black grain starts filling up and it goes to the halfway mark, stop using your powers immediately and send a messenger to the Skywing palace." Meadowlark explained.

Flowfern was in awe, did she really just say all that? Was she able to enchant things now? "This....this is awsome! Thank you! Thank you so much Medowlark!" She smiled and took the bracelet putting it back on and grabbing the hour glass.

Jaybug smiled at Meadowlark, who nodded. "Flowfern, I think you should go to the Skywing palace with Meadowlark and get settled into your new rooms, maybe experience Skywing life. You can come back any time you want." Jaybug said.

Meadowlark looked at her own hourglass, sighing in relief when she saw that it had stayed the same. "Yes. I need to get back and do the crowning ceremony." she said, putting it away.

Flowfern snapped her talons, "Give me a second to pack!" Withought an answer she flew off returning in moments time with her things in a small pouch on her sides. "Ok I'm ready!"

Flowfern flew after quickly and excitingly, this was so fun! New home, New friends, New palace! "So what's it like at the skywing palace!?" She called catching up and attempting to match Medowlarks pace.

"Beautiful. The turrets seem to touch the sky and the rooms are decorated beautifully. Although... Robin made a mess of the throne room. I'm sure it's fixed by now." Meadowlark said.
