Topic name is self-explanary. I LOVE exclusive beetles, but assasin beetle is a fit with a stretch. Its pretty, but it doesnt really "fit" with a pirate theme. CRABS are what we need for pirates.  Let us find crabs tokens in Treasure Hunting! To let our pirate lions keep crab beetles and battle them! Rainbow crabs, wooly crabs, spider crabs, so many options! Thinking of it, assasin beetle really doesnt fit for pirate theme. (so to not clog the first post, Ill write my thoughts here!) Assassins specialised in stealth killing, sneaking to an enemy and doing as much damage with one hit as possible, preferably, kill in one hit without being noticed. Pirates were all about brawn and bluff; they were robbers but, they tried to put on so much of a show that they wouldnt have to kill people, people would be so scared they'd give their stuff over quietly. They're quite the opposite battling styles, so assasin beetles do NOT fit at all with the theme.  So while I hope the exclusive beetles for Treasure Hunting will continue, I very much hope the assasin beetle theme will not be continued, let it stop at 1 species in Treasure Hunting. Those beetles belong somewhere else! Crabs on the other hand have several points of "fitting" with pirate theme; they share the battling style with the general "pirate" theme, they share the sea element, and they are used on many pirate styled insignia and folklore, and crabs are marine invertebrates as close to land beetles as spiders and mantises are, so they are not "too far" from the beetle theme. i've been wanting crabs for years and in your "they're not too far from spiders" argument, if man-o-wars can be beetles that's more than enough of a reason for crabs to be beetles IN ADDITION to them basically being sea spiders 2 players like this post! Hermit crabs can have "colors" of living inside various pirate-themed houses, like cracked rum bottled, old boots, etc! This would be so cute  1 player likes this post! Like? |

I support this! Though I have a feeling that if it were to happen and implemented in Treasure Hunting, it might not be done until 2025's Jan event... since as far as I can tell, it seems Treasure Hunting is a Jan-only game? 1 player likes this post! Like? |
