He lounges on a pedestal of polished rock, his black and white pelt
rippling like silk in the low light. His golden eyes narrow as they fix on you, unblinking,
assessing.

“You’re late,” Haikiri rumbles, his voice a low thunder that vibrates the very floor. “Or
early. Time is slippery for your kind, isn’t it?” He tilts his head. “A lion seeking a dragon? Bold.
Predictable but bold.”

You step closer, the weight of his gaze pressing on you. His golden streaks shimmer
faintly, as if in response to your presence.
“I am Haikiri—Teacher, as you felines so often call me. Elder of the Den, keeper of
knowledge, master of taming what you cannot comprehend. Speak quickly. I haven’t got the
patience to coddle.” His lips curl into a smirk, revealing a flash of ivory fangs large enough to
crush you with one bite.

You hesitate, unsure how to begin. He sighs dramatically, a gust of warm air that ruffles
your mane. “Fine. Let me guess—you want to know about dragons, how to lure them, how to
tame them? Of course, you do. That’s why you’re here.”
Haikiri rises, his long, serpentine form unfolding with unnerving grace. He prowls to a
carved shelf brimming with vials, ropes, and trinkets. “First, the basics. Dragons are not pets,
cub. They are forces of nature—fire, storm, shadow, and more. Each species has its quirks.
Shadows are sly, storms are temperamental, fires… well, they’ll roast you if you’re not quick
enough. You will come to know more about the other species with experience.”

He glances over his shoulder, his golden eyes glinting with amusement. “And they all
adore salmon. Not the cheap stuff, mind you. Fresh, glistening, practically leaping into their
jaws. That’s how you catch their interest. But if you’re clever—and I doubt you are—you’ll also
need… tools. Other items.” He gestures vaguely to the shelf. “Every dragon has its price. Figure
it out, and you might live to see them up close.”
Your ears perk as you peer at the items, curious. Haikiri chuckles dryly.

“Don’t bother
asking specifics. I don’t spoon-feed answers. Experiment. Fail. Learn. That’s the point, isn’t it?”
He circles back to his pedestal, his paws treading faintly against the stone. “What I do
here is simple: I teach the brave and the foolish how not to die. Taming a dragon isn’t about
dominance; it’s about respect. They don’t bow to anyone, but if they choose to tolerate you,consider it a gift.” Haikiri pauses, his gaze softening for a brief moment. “But know
this—dragons don’t stay where they’re not wanted. Treat them poorly, and they’ll leave. Or
worse.” He flashes a toothy grin. “They’ll remember.”

A low rumble echoes from deeper within the cave, followed by the flash of a scaled tail
disappearing into the shadows. “Ah, there goes one now. Perhaps it smelled your curiosity.” He
reclines again, stretching lazily. “Anything else, cub? Or are you ready to prove you’re deserving
of such a magnificent companion?” His tone is teasing but sharp, like a blade sheathed in velvet.

You consider your next question carefully, aware that this is no ordinary shop—and
Haikiri is no ordinary shopkeeper.

He points to the first item. “Stinky fish. Common dragons love it—their tastes are a bit
bland, I fear. Occasionally, something better might show up.”

Next, his claw taps an image of shimmering stones. “Shiny stones. Uncommon dragons
can’t resist these cheap jewels. Rare ones? Slim chance.”

Next line: “Crystals. Considering you aren’t one of those poorer lions who saunter in my
shop, these are considerably better for luring rare dragons. If the stars like you, you might get a
special dragon.”

His gaze then lingers on a fillet of salmon. “Expensive salmon… Mutated dragons
adore it. The crown jewels of the sky.”

"And finally...A drop from the fountain of wishes , Make a wish for any dragon... then close your eyes and pour a drop on the ground, you Dragon Will Stand here, Forever bound to you. "

With a flick of his tail, he tosses the scroll at your paws. “Since I’ve enlightened you, I
expect something in return. Gold Bettles. They’re good for my… scale routine. No arguments.”
