According to the news post about this quest, all explore encounters are adjusted according to what you need in your quests. I've already heard reports from others that they had more bottle and locust wing encounters show up to help them finish their quests! They are still rare encounters, but their rates should be increased when you need them for quests.

Have you all been able to see the Adventure Shop before completing your last quest, or does it say "this area is warming up"? I've been able to see it since it was set up, but friends are saying they can't.

I've since completed the quest so I don't know if I'd be able to properly report this if it was my account that got messed up.

Update: someone else said it was visible before the 4th but hidden afterwards, so I guess I didn't check again after that.

hi! i'm about to have to pick the vengeful or peaceful path and was wondering, what's your recommendation for which one to pick? i know it's kind of lame, but i'm honestly just looking for the easy way out.

In my opinion after doing it on both accounts, the peaceful path is the easy way out if you have lots of money to buy extra items, and the vengeful path is the easy way out if you don't. I got, of course possibly by chance, a lot more encounters that gave me poachers on the vengeful path than I got encounters giving me free locust wings on the peaceful one.

@savior - as Moon mentioned, it depends on what you’ve currently got in your hoard! If you have a stash of locust wings and bottles set aside, the easiest path would be the Peaceful path
Katze has confirmed that poacher encounters have been increased, so you might have more luck with the Vengeful path if you don’t have many of the items for the Peaceful path.

can i still breed my lionesses while in adventure?

Yes! Doing the Adventure quest doesn’t affect overall gameplay, so you can still breed your lionesses, go hunting, patrol your submale, king your heir, etc.

Anyone else having problems with finding the poacher camps? The encounter popped up the first 2-3 days since I started quest 4, but now I have not seen any on either of my accounts in the 4-5-ish days since

For quest 4, I haven’t found a single special camp and it’s been days 😭
I’ve used energy bar upon energy bar and haven’t found one. Is there something I have to do to make it possible to find them or are they just that rare (like finding the jags for the Invasion of Spots adventure)?

I believe the encounters are just rare unfortunately :(
You can always create a bug report detailing the issues and mods can let you know if there's anything wrong with encounter rates or if that's just the feature!

Gunna drop this info in here because I'm an idiot and didn't realize this myself...

EDIT: I found the correct encounter;



If you see this bunny in explore and you have poacher guns in your inventory there is an encounter button to give the poacher gun to this bunny. Its beside the "nice mask" and says something like "give gun". My dumbass clicked before actually reading/before I realized they were needed for this quest and I've given away my poacher guns and am now not finding anymore in explore :')

I don't even know which encounters in explore give you poacher guns but I haven't gotten another one in like 4 days so I don't know if I'm just having really bad RNG or I've given away all the poacher guns I'm able to find in explore.

So if you haven't yet completed the quest that needs poacher guns - bury your guns so you don't mistakenly give them away in explore.
