Her ears twitched at his voice, sniffing around her for a second. "Doesn't smell like it sir..." Her heart skipped a beat at his voice and appearance alone though she kept her cold exterior. She turned into the cave, unless they expanded she was a few feet from the border, beckoning the male with her tail before beginning a downward journey into her home. "Come male we'll talk inside." The wind had picked up and was whipping around outside, it usually rained near her home, though this time it'd be snow.

Kerrin followed her hesitantly, cracking a small smile as he entered, "Name's Kerrin. Who my you be, trespasser?" There it was. Subconsciously going back to his old ways. His eyes squeezed shut, but as he opened them again, he had to halt in wonder. Clusters of gleaming crystals glinted purple light from as they clung to the walls and ceiling. Some lay on the floors, a few shattered in pieces in the tiny spring water. The male couldn't suppress a nearly-silent gasp at the sheer beauty, a kind that almost matched this mysterious she-wolf's coat.

Coquin - 4 year old loner

She felt him stop without turning around, predicting his expression to be one of awe and shock. "It's a pleasure Kerrin, most call me Coquin but //you// can call me beautiful." She all but purred to the male, making her way deeper into the cave to the waterside where a small prey pile was located. "Eat. You might be here for a bit. So what's a handsome fellow like yourself doing out at this time of year on your own?" Her eyes glimmered at the mere sight of him, though it could be deceived as the crystals in the background.

Kerrin felt hot all of a sudden, as if his skin and fur were steaming, despite the realitive coolness of the cavern. "Erm, I'm alright for the moment, Coquin," he declined, "I just ate." He wouldn't let himself call her as she requested, fearing it would permit his 'player' personality to resurface. "I came to check out the source of the newest rogue scent, and it seems I've found her."

Coquin - 4 years

She didn't let the disappointment show, instead moved the hares effortlessly to her makeshift den inside the cave. The haphazard way up enough to give a normal wolf a heart attack. Coquin went back to Kerrin and dipped down and munched on the last hare, "well I guess you did then..." Her head dropped a inch though she hoped the other didn't really see the display her body showed. "it does get rather lonely in here though, glad to finally have someone else experience the amazingly rare cave with me. No matter how short the visit." Coquin paused as she turned her head towards the entrance with a sigh, the snow would most likely cover the entrance for the fifth time since it was on the smaller side.

Lucifer. Dusk fall alpha.

Her ears twitched at the incoming paw steps. Her tail creating a whooshing noise as the familiar scent of kill wrapped around her. Luce paused for a brief moment, her heat scent nearing its peak, she faltered as thoughts crossed her mind. Whispering the promise of pups and other things.

Kerrin gazed around, the corner of his mouth twitching into a tiny smile. "You did find a one-of-a-kind spot, didn't you," he murmured, "I'd hate to see it without its similarly exquisite inhabitant." And... there it was. Like a key in a lock, that one remark released a long-supressed personality. Automatically, the male sat straighter and pointed his ears forward, raising his head attractively. "How long have you set up camp here," the male asked airily, tapping his tail to the ground in a slow rhythm, finishing his question with a smirking, "Beautiful?"

Her lips quirked upwards at the remark first made from the male. //Bingo//. Her tail thumped against the ground aggressively as the male gave in to whatever he was suppressing. Coquins heart thrummed with the last remark from him, "Oh not long handsome, a month tops. I stumbled across this dwelling when escaping a storm." She smirked slightly, before raising a paw and licking it clean slowly, her eyes flickering to the water for a moment longer then it should have. "Would you like a item to reminder me by handsome?" Her mouth bent down gracefully into the water and pulled out with a beautiful gem the color of her eyes, tail swinging behind her happily.

[What color are Coquin's eyes?]

Kerrin's hazel eyes reflected the gem, awestruck for just a second before he leaned forward to take it. His dark nose touched hers and he looked at his own reflection in her pupils before taking the treasure. A sharp sensation ran through his nose like the spring in the cavern, stabbing just above his heart. It was identical to the one he had when he first fell in love with Cloud, and his chest ached just thinking about his former mate. "If you plan on staying, make sure you hide your scent so my pack can't track you. Mislead them somewhere else maybe," he suggested, not believing what he was saying. Why was he allowing this rogue to stay near Sunrise territory?

Coquin - Loner

Her lips curled upwards for the umpteenth time since since seeing this male. "Your only here because I allowed you to handsome." She chuckled quietly, her heart hammering so loud she was sure the perfect specimen of a male before her could hear it. She leaned forwards and placed a soft lick to his nose, "will you stay until the storm ends at least? I can teach you the way to my den..." She held back the hope that wanted to betray her and voice itself within her voice. The fact this high ranked male wasn't chasing her from the border kept her hopes high as she stood and looked to be haphazard entrance to the den, the exact reason it was where it was. Most wolves wouldn't dare venture up to the entrance of the den, the perfect place for a mother and pups.
