As you can see many citizens are running and creating chaos from this once peaceful city. Behind me you can see humans with deathly pale skin "rising from the dead" just after they have died, and have the sudden urge to attack anything living. Thats right, these people attack the living. If you look to the left of me you will see one roaming the streets as of now. Please if you are at home lock your doors and make sure your loved ones are near, again don't leave-" -Female Screams- ........... PLEASE STAND BY........... WE WILL BE RIGHT BACK____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ A deadly virus has swept across the world, nearly taking over human population in a matter of days. Government officials released in what hoped to be a cure to cancer, brought successful results until another disease erupted, the side effects from the cure. Not only did people die, but were plagued with another unknown virus that reacts in a matter of days, the symptoms of a state of fever, aches, and internal bleeding, and this illness ultimately lead to death. The infected just right after they die, reanimate into living corpses who only have one agenda in mind; the lust for blood. Blood spilt and only a few remaining survivors roam this havoc of destruction. You are one of them. You fortunately have survived in what killed many friends, family, and other loved ones. You might just be humanity's last hope in this now destroyed world. It'd be pretty interesting to see where this all goes, too. Like... a videogame." Shaun opened up the door under the sink, and glanced around. Towels, cleaning supplies, tampons... He tossed the box of tampons Serena's way with a chuckle. "I'm willing to bet those are gonna be like gold in this world." He found a small first aid kit and put that in his pack as well, then left the bathroom. "Bedrooms upstairs. Wanna lend a hand?" He put a hand on Trouble's head and ruffled his fur. Serena listened as he moved around and was quick to catch the box that he tossed at her. It took her a moment to register what it was before she felt annoyance surge inside of her. "O thanks," she said with a fake smile across her lips, "I'll hold onto them just in case you need them." With a roll of her eyes she looked about the house for anything else she could grab that could be of use. There wasn't much, but she found a few matched in the kitchen that she figured would be nice for starting a fire once it got cold as well as a knife sharpener in case their blades grew dull. 0 players like this post! "Well, nothing useful here. Unless Trouble needs a new chew toy." He moved to the next room and grinned, seeing a huge television, king sized bed and massive dresser. "Wow, these guys must have had some serious debt to live like this." He dug through the drawers, tossing aside clothing and looking for something useful, something hidden. Trouble stuck his head under the bed and pawed at something, and Shaun pulled it out. A case, locked, but that was nothing for a talented thief. He fought the cheap lock open and looked in the case, smiling wickedly. He stuffed the contents in his bag without showing them, keeping their identity a secret. He thumbed through the clothes to find something to change into, settling on a pair of grey cargo pants and a Metallica t-shirt. He stripped off his own tattered shirt and tossed it on the floor carelessly, sighing in relief at the feeling of air on his skin. With his whole chest and back exposed, his scars became more clear. A cluster of deep scars on his chest and stomach, most likely stab wounds, with a long slash going through his left pectoral. His arms were littered with slash marks, an old bullet wound grazing his right shoulder, but the worst wound was still the dog bite on his left forearm. He was obviously someone who had been through a lot in his short life. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Atlas || 23 || Male || Gay || Advisor || Inside of a Library; 12:15 P.M || Mentions: Jasper Atlas' cheeks are growing slightly more red, but he nods very quickly. He eventually catches his breath and clears his throat, clutching his bag tightly in his hand. "J.J, huh? Alright.. I'm Atlas." He says, holding his hand out for an awkward handshake. Do you do handshakes in the apocalypse? He wasn't very good at this whole, end-of-the-world thing. He awkwardly pulls his hand back and runs it through his hair, eyeing the bow and arrow strapped to the younger man's back. Weapons had always made him nervous, but at least it wasn't a goddamn firearm. Hopefully J.J knew how to use it at least. "You're the boss. Let's get out of here." The man who had stated his name as Hunter had probably just saved her skin. Having been distracted she let her guard down, allowing a the creature to sneak up on her. "it's Ren. I appreciate your aim." her bow now lowered as she turned around to pull his arrow out of the undead skull. She the. Reached for the large combat knife she kept on a leg holster, and with one good swing decapitated the undead nightmare. After placing the knife back into place, she turned back to Hunter. With his arrow in hand she walked towards him, even though she didn't fully trust the male, it would have been rude not to return the arrow that had saved her. Kido followed closely next to Ren, noticing that Ren was not afraid of the strangers anymore her body language changed. Her tail swayed limply behind in a happy sort of way. Ren stopped a few feet short of Hunter, if she knew anything it was that the dog he had with him was not to be messed with. She could read his body language loud and clear, almost as well as if the animal were to speak. "Its a pleasure to meet you, now lets hope we both make it out alive." he flirted with a cocky grin. Walking down the bookcase he lead the way further into the section of the library that almost appeared to be ruined by water damage. Pausing, the teen placed his bow and arrow back on his shoulder. "There are only fallen bookcases beyond this point, so uh... we kinda gotta run. If you keep heading straight there should be a hole in the ceiling with a rope dangling from it. Atlas || 23 || Male || Gay || Advisor || Library; 12:17 P.M || Mentions: Jasper Atlas followed as closely as possible, holding his arms outstretched to keep his balance. He was a bit wobbly on top of all of these bookcases, and nearly crashes into Jasper once they had stopped because he was so preoccupied on staying on top. Looks down at the ground as Jasper explains what the plan is, and he cites his lower lip nervously. "Erm.. I've never tried.. But I hope so." He says. His mind is working at a million miles a minute, and he's nervous that he's not gonna be able to climb the rope, or fit in the small hole. He has a terrible habit of looking on the bad side of situations. "Listen.. I'm, er, a little bit wider around the waist area. If I get eaten because I get stuck in the hole, blame powdered doughnuts." He tries to play off his nervousness with humor, giving a light chuckle as he scratches his head. 0 players like this post! And I don't want to do it where a walker's been rotting away for days or weeks or whatever." he said. He'd been forced to come along, but he wasn't forced to stay. He didn't really want to leave his pup with Shaun and the new girl, but nor did he want to relieve himself with an audience. Edgar was behaving himself well enough and with a groan and the roll of his eyes, Levi bent over and unclipped Edgar's leash from his collar and threw the leash onto the kitchen island while Edgar curiously sniffed around at the new company. Levi took this as his cue to go outside. He still had his wimpy pocket knife with him and before tip toeing out the back door and closing it behind him. He kept his back to the house and relieved himself by a bush. He was watching for any walkers that may try and show up, but he spotted none. Happy that the coast was clear, Levi went back inside to attempt to wash his hands in the sludgy mess that came out of the sink when he turned it on. Deciding it was a bad idea, he instead found a tiny bottle of hand sanitizer that would work better. 0 players like this post! Like? |

"Pleasure to meet ya, Ren... And it'was really no big deal, I got no reason to let a walker rip ya apart" he said, offering her a slight and small greeting smile. He watched as she decapitated the head, nodding slightly in acknowledgement to the strength she used to do the action, though didn't know why she had done it; he had already killed it and, besides, if it hadn't been killed by his arrow, decapitating it wouldn't have killed it. He shrugged, pushing the odd thought to the side. Max was still a little restless and wary, letting out deep, quiet growls every one in awhile. After beheading the beast, the woman, who he now knew as Ren, had turned around towards him, his arrow in her hand. Ren began walking towards him, which caused Max to let out a few warning growls. A little bit of confusion filled his gaze when she stopped a few short from him, but he nodded slowly and slightly in understanding as she asked permission. At this, he whistled quickly, yet quietly, and Max stopped growling and backed up a few steps at the sound, though he was looking up at Ren warily. Hunter crouched down and undid the muzzle on Max's snout and stuffed it in his bag before looking up at her, knowing Max wouldn't attack now. Levi praised the pup by handing him a broken piece of a saltine cracker than was in his pocket. Levi hated to admit he enjoyed raiding stores and restaurants for the two salty crackers packaged in a thin plastic wrapper. Edgar gobbled up the cracker enthusiastically. He's such a pig... Eh. He's a growing pup though. Dunno if I can blame him. he thought, his eyes lifting up to the girl while he absently patted Edgar's side. "Levi," he said gruffly. "And the pup here is Edgar." As much as Levi tried to make the point he named his dog, he had really read his tags and decided to keep the name, but he discarded his identification tag and vaccination tag, as he believed the sound of jingling tags would attract walkers. Levi unloaded his heavy pack onto the counter and hoisted himself onto it and let his legs dangle a few inches from the ground. Edgar attempted to join Levi by resting his front paws on Levi's legs, but Levi gently pushed him away. "The more important question is who are you. Not just your name, but what the hell are you doing out here? And what the hell attracted you to us?" he said, looking at her with his murky brown eyes. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Trusting that the dog nor Hunter would attack them she removed Kido's muzzle. With just a sign of her hand she balled her fist telling Kido to sit, in which the she wolf did. Walking the short distance she placed the arrow into Hunter's hand. Before taking a few steps back to stand beside Kido again. Her head rested on the wolf's head gently patting the canine.
