Appearance: Pitch has a small build, petite would be the correct term. She stands at a short five foot three, making her a couple of inches shorter than the average woman, which she actually uses to her advantage. Pitch has long, silky black hair that falls into curls down to her lower back. Her eyes are a deep crystal blue that are rather enchanting, though they sometimes hide behind glasses that don't even really help her vision. Her eyes do have a cloudy appeal to them, since she is legally blind. Pitch is also very pale, due to her lack of sunlight and preferring the indoors for most of her life. When Pitch does get sunlight, she freckles on her nose, cheeks, and arms. She doesn't normally have freckles, so when she does you'll know she has been out in the sun recently.
Personality: Pitch is a girl of many personalities, tastes, morals, emotions and ambitions. She isn't the type of person who just goes with the flow. She much rather be original and try things the harder way. She can pick her way through things rather nicely without having much of a problem or any troubles. She's quite clever. This may be the one thing that helps her through many of her problems. She knows just how to escape something she doesn't wish to do and make it look like she just didn't have the time to do it. Though she can make her way through problems and troubling situations nicely, she can also be quite indecisive. At times this isn't too bad of a trait because its good to not be sure what you want to do after high school. Yet sometimes it gets in the way. She can be indecisive about what she might want for dinner or what car she wants. When this happens, she normally starts arguing with herself, like there are actually two people in the room with two different opinions. This is a rather odd act but it can be quite amusing to just sit back and watch.

Pitch can be rather creative when she pleases. She has been able to come up with some pretty original ideas but never had the time to go forth with them. With her creativity she has tried to be a writer, artist and musician, so she is quite the talented person. Though none of these things have actually been enough to make her want to make them into a career. With any type of work she does, she is able to keep herself focused until it is absolutely completely finished. She will work endlessly on a project that she likes. This is a good thing and a bad thing. It's good because she is reliable and able to get things done. It's bad because she may go to bed late and wake up early, making her in a crabby mood. Since she is so focused, it also comes this being a perfectionist. Things must be absolutely perfect or she will feel like she can't finish them. This is actually a really good thing. Whenever she works on something and finishes it, it comes out stunning and very original. She has been able to sell a few art pieces this way but was never too successful in creating a career out of it.

Pitch is a rather confident person. She can stand up for herself and have confidence in herself that she will win the battle. Having confidence makes it much easier for her to succeed with her work. She normally stays pretty confident unless someone pushes it down. If someone points out something bad about her work, she can get rather vicious and act like she meant to make that mistake so it looked more original. When she does lose her confidence, she gets rather depressed and goes home and rips up all of her work because it isn't "good enough". She is also very enthusiastic when she wants to be. When people don't feel so sure about their work or about something else she likes to encourage them to just try their hardest and soon they will come out with something fantastic.

Pitch is very dominating. She doesn't like to show it very much, but sometimes it just shows itself for her. It's not that she really tries to be, it just happens. She has always liked being in charge because she feels if she isn't then things wont get finished. When she feels she is more dominant than someone she can be quite aggressive. This may be the biggest she became a warrior, because of her aggression. Her being very dominant also comes with being very persuasive. She can make someone believe her words without really even trying. She has won her way into many great schools by just being persuasive, she doesn't even have to have talent, though she does have it.

Pitch is very moralistic. She feels that if you don't have morals then you aren't cleanly. Hers are quite high too and she follows them with great determination. Some of her high morals are that she will keep her virginity for the perfect guy and they must be married to have sex. Another may be she will never do any dirty sexual practices. She feels that if she does, she wont be completely respecting herself. At times she is pretty private about her morals and other things that she doesn't want the world to know. She will only tell them if they must be told, like in a dire situation. She likes to keep almost everything to herself, which at times can be bad because she never lets anyone know any of her problems.
Likes: Art, books, indoors, animals, outside if she is in the shade.
Dislikes: Bugs, liars, disloyal people, people without morals, too much sun.
Backstory: Pitch was born and raised on Janra. Both of her parents were...different. They didn't live like the other parents did and they certainly didn't talk like the others did. Pitch's parents almost had their own culture compared to the other parents and other people on the island. Pitch didn't mind growing up in such an odd family, in fact, she liked it. She had no problems when she was born, she was very healthy. She also grew up very healthy. Her parents never had to rush her to the hospital for anything. She kept herself quite healthy. Medicines and vitamins weren't ever a must have. She rarely ever got sick, and if she did it was just a mere cold, nothing too severe. It was almost like something inside her was fighting off every sickness and not allowing anything destructive to come into her system. Her parents didn't know what it was, but they were thankful that she was able to stay healthy and strong.

Her ninth birthday was the first time she ever had to be rushed into the hospital, or even go there for that matter. Her and her friends had been playing in the forest behind her house. Her parents had finally let her out there alone, thinking that she was old enough to know that she shouldn't get into anything dangerous. They also taught her what all of the poisonous berries and plants looked like so she would be aware of them. Though there was one plant that they didn't even know existed, and if they had, they would have no idea that it would affect her like it had.

When her and her friends were out playing, she found a pretty, purple flower at the base of a large old oak tree. She had never seen it before and wasn't sure if she should touch it so she didn't, instead she began to head back to her house to ask her parents if it was safe to touch. One of her friends had also seen it and decided to pick it for themselves. They brought it to Pitch to see if she liked it. When they brought it close it made her eyes water but she just thought maybe the smell bothered her since the girl who held it had no problem with it in her fingers. When she picked it up it burned all of her fingerprints on her left hand. She screamed and automatically dropped it, but its poison had already worked its way on her fingers and under her skin. Her friend had no idea what was wrong with her, she thought maybe she was just pretending so she grabbed the flower and waved it in her face, accidentally getting a petal in Pitch's mouth.

Pitch was rushed to the hospital after going into shock. Her parents explained that she was usually very healthy and knew not to touch odd plants that she didn't know about. The doctors had no idea how the plant could have affected her like it had and they had to get the petal out as soon as they could. The flower was in her system for almost an hour. In that time, she lost all feeling in her mouth and began to go blind in both eyes. The doctors were able to get the petal out and they went on their search to find out what the flower was. They were never able to find out anything about the flower, and when they went back to the oak tree to see if there were more of the same flower it seemed as if no flower of the kind had ever grown there. There was really nothing more they could do. They could only let her go home and hope that her vision would come back, but it never did.

Pitch still lives in Janra. Her eyesight hasn't gotten better, but she gets help from her friends and family to do things that she can't do by herself. Many people thought Pitch was crazy when she entered her name into the raffle, but deep down she knew that she could help, even with her disability. She probably wouldn't have been chosen if there were a lot of people who had put their names in, but given circumstances she didn't have many rivals. Truly she entered this raffle so she could show people that she could still do things on her own and be a citizen that helped out in their community. Since she had gone blind people always told her that she couldn't do things by herself so she had to do something to show them different.
Mutation/Power: When Pitch comes into contact with the rot, she can start seeing again. But it isn't like how she once saw things or how other people see things, it's more seeing in infrared. Since she can see in infrared, she can also see in the dark and through solid objects such as walls of buildings. Not only has she been gifted with these things, but she can see farther and her eyes are much more powerful than any other humans. Her gift does come with a downside. Sometimes when she stands in the sun for too long she will get very bad migraines, and she can't see in very bright sunlight so she has to stick to the shadows.

A few of us made two characters so I'm sure it's fine! If Erin can change into a wolf-boar thing I'm sure your dude could probably have some sort of animal form as well so long as it has limits.

Multiple characters is fine! Feel free to make another, Mid! I would prefer no 'shifting' powers though (and erin's situation is a bit different since it's in dreams) but i wouldn't mind some kind of understanding animals, but there has to be a downside, or something dangerous about it.

But also, after Mid's next character, I'm trying to keep things a bit more balanced. I'm going to tentatively close apps for characters from Janra, and I will also be looking for more physical mutations, rather than magic/powers for the time being.

Oh also, I forgot to say...
Things are kind of busy for me right now. I still haven't had time to fully look over the last few character apps, and I still need to update some of the rp info and finish up on my own character app for kat, and start on the one for my second character!
I'm currently dealing with a decent hand injury, so it's hard for me to type, and a lot of other crap keeps coming up too. I'm sorry for the inconvenience but I'll try to get around to reading and accepting all apps as soon as possible.

She gives off the sweet, innocent impression of a bunny due to her schoolgirl look. She keeps her dark blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail or pigtails. When down it falls just past her shoulders. Her skin is quite fair and burns in the sun so she prefers to stay within the shade. Her large eyes are a light green with golden/brown flecks closer to the pupil and framed by lashes a shade darker than her hair. She is 170cm tall (sorry, metric user here :P) and has a slim body with not much muscle mass. She has led a sheltered, pampered life and shows it. Her style is skirt, stockings and colourful blouses, and she loves her dark faux fur coat in winter. She is naturally cute looking but even so is not happy with the prospect of going make up less.

Personality: Confident, smart and charismatic. Her life from the beginning has been a social one whether it playing power games at school, impressing distinguished families to make connections and gaining popularity. She has always believed that the more you are liked the easier your life will be, so she has learnt from a young age how to be likeable even if it not true to her real nature. Despite her cheerful disposition she is quite manipulative in order to get what she wants. Myani also has a strong sense of pride which led her to accepting the dare to enter her name into the raffle. She never thought that she would actually be chosen. But now that she has she won't back down in case she be named a coward by her social crowd. She is also excited, not just scared by the prospect of the adventure. Her thrillseeker side can't help it! Myani has flawless manners, observation skills and is not discouraged by antisocial or shy people, though she sees lack of manners as a great character flaw. She is loyal to her friends but if her trust is betrayed she won't hesitate to resort to dirty tricks as means of revenge. She is selectively moralistic :p. She has a curious side too.

Likes:
Thrills~ back home this meant staying out past curfew or kissing a (taken) boy in a secluded corner. Now the thrills are going to be far more dangerous and it excites her to no end

Pretty things~ She goes gaga over jewels, landscapes, well made breakfasts etc. Myani is all about the aesthetic

Fire~ Shes a bit of a pyromaniac haha

Mutation/Power: When she encounters the lower ground and is affected by the rot she develops stone shattering strength, made possible by the incredible rate of muscle fiber regeneration. As soon as her bones develop microfractures or her muscles tear they heal instantly again without pain. The downfall to this strength is that once her power deactivates, whatever appendage she used the strength on (arm, leg etc) will bear the weight of that exertion and in most cases will break. Her bones will shatter, muscles will tear and she will have to suffer through great agony. Her regeneration slows down so it takes days to heal and in severe cases, weeks.

When her mutation is activated shiny black scales break through the surface of her skin. They are diamond hard, but fall off when her power deactivates. When using a large amount of her body during her displays of strength she can look almost reptilian. She fears that if she keeps her mutation activated for too long the scales will never fall and she will remain freaky deaky looking forever

Other: Her draft drake has led an even more pampered life than Myani and has spotless, thick white fur and deep onyx black eyes. Myani named her Princess after receiving her 6 years ago at the age of 13.
