"Yep, I can show you all the alleyways and shortcuts of New York. Are you sure you want to leave your owners? You might discover living outside a home isn't all it has cracked up to be." Cassy got up and slowly circled the spot she had been in, dislodging a small rock that had been under her belly. When she plopped down, the fluff of her tail landed on her nose.

"Who me? Nahh, it can't be THAT bad..." Leon chuckled with a toothy grin. The Great Dane looked up at the windo into the cloudy night sky as rain piter and pattered against the old wood that made up the warehouse. Soon be began to doze off, eventually falling into a deep sleep.
That morning Leon was the first to wake. His ears were perked and his eyes wide open. He inhaled deeply, taking in the smell of the morning dew. "Good morning! " he barked with a wide smile, his tongue hanging out of his mouth. His tail wagged in excitement as he looked out the window. The sun was shining and the birds were singing.

Cassy dozed off to the sound of the rain, and she had a dream of laying next to a fireplace. When she woke up, she found herself to have moved over closer to Leon, who was already awake wide-eyed. Her face warmed, and she got up and stretched her legs. "Good morning Leon. You always this chipper in the morning?" She moved toward the door and lapped at a puddle that had formed over night.

I'm back! Sorry for the long wait v.v))

Leonidas turned to look at Cassy and barked happily. "Of course! It's a new day!" He exclaimed and followed her to the puddle just outside the warehouse in wich they slept in. Leon looked down at the stagnant water and rose a brow. "Dirty water..." He mumbled under his breath then carefully stepped over the puddle, brushing his paws off in a patch of grass. "I'm not too thirsty at the moment.." He said quietly then looked up at the seemingly clear sky, though the sky was clear and the sun was shining the winds were still the same, biter New Yorkern cold. "So, what do you normally do out here?" Leon asked getting a better look at the outside since he wasn't able to look very much from the dark of he night.

Cassy finished getting a drink and followed Leon outside. "Well, I usually head to the streets to find food, bring back other blankets and such." The morning wasn't exactly cold, with the sun shining down from the almost entirely clear sky. But there was a chilled wind, but it didn't really bother Cassy, her fur was still heavy from Winter. "What is your normal schedule for the day?"

"My schedule you ask?" He asked then looked down at his paws, thinking. "Well, first I get a wash in the tub, then we eat, after that we go for our normal thirty minute walk, after THAT we go to training with the instructor for about an hour or so, then when we get back home I have another wash, eat then sleep. But on Saturdays my owner takes us to get groomed, which I think is totally stupid.." Leonidas explained, tilting his head side to side with each different activity he spoke of. "It's tiring, really.." Leon said softly and looked over at Cassy, whose long fur flowed in the chill wind.

Cassy's eyes got wider and wider as Leon spoke of such a planned day. Two baths a day? An instructor for an hour? She normally just wandered around, looked for food, avoided other dogs that would most definitely steal what ever she had found. She shook her head, sending wisps of long hair in the breeze.
"That seems like a crazy day, every day. And it seems like it would be tiring, going nonstop like that."

"You get used to it after a while! But I remember it was rough as a pup...actually I hated it until I started to realize that it was probably going to be like that forever, until yesterday of course" he smirked then wagged his tail a bit. Leon knew if any other stray around here knew of this he would for sure be made fun of, wich made him a bit stressed about telling Cassy about himself. "But...those days are over now! Starting today I'm turning over a new leaf!" He barked, puffing his chest out and holding his chin up high with a smug look on his muzzle.

Cassy listened as Leon told her how he had hated it, and about turning over a new leaf, going astray from his showdog life. Her thoughts wandered a bit when he puffed out his chest. She looked under the big legs of Leon, thinking about how she could probably stand at her tallest under him and maybe still have room. And how last night he had fought off the jerk of a German Shepherd.

Once Leon finished blabbering about how stronger is and how he could take on the whole world he then looked down at Cassy who stared at his legs. "Are you alright there, Cas? You're awfully quiet over there..." The Great Dane tilted his head then sat down on the damp ground. "So, where do we head off to first? " Leon asked with a smile, extatic for his new adventure into a new way of life.

Cassy heard Leon ask her a question, and she came out of her trance and looked at Leon, who had sat down on the concrete. He had a large smile on his face, and excitement filled his voice at the thought of going out.
"Huh? Oh, well. We could go walk around the alleys in the city. " The streets had many alleys and shortcuts that cut through the city, but you had to be careful due to the other dogs that were also scrounging for food.

Leon nodded excitedly then started trotting behind Cassy. "Oh this is so exciting! This is super rebellious in my family! If my father found out, boy would he be mad!" Leonidas laughed but quickly stopped, finding the scent of another dog off into the distance, he got quiet and his ears laid back a bit, all until a smaller dog came around the corner. "Psh! I bet you thought I was scared, tch, I'm NEVER scared!" Leon mused with a grin then lifted his chin up high.
Only moments later from taking a few steps he yelped, from seeing a small snail sliding over his paw. "Uh...that was...uhm...yelping practice! To uh...practice my devious tricks! Yeah!"

"I bet. Seeing one of his prized babies becoming a street dog." Leon stopped all of a sudden when the scent of another dog came through the air, and she looked back as a small Jack Russel Terrier rounded the corner.
Laughing, Cassy shook her head. "Right." They continued walking, until she heard Leon yelp again. Looking down at his paws, she saw a small snail crawling on his foot. "A bit jumpy today, are we?"

"Jumpy? What? Of course not! Just getting some morning exercise is all..!" Leon exclaimed then continued on with his tail raised, frequently looking being him to see if Cassy was following. Once the large male reached the end of the ally he sat and waiting for Cassy to take the lead. "So, do you ever doing anything for fun?" Leon asked, looking over at the smaller female waiting for an answer. ((Sorry for short reply))

Cassy quickened her pace to try and keep up with Leon.
"Uh huh, right. Exercising your reflexes and vocal chords." They got to the end of the alley, and he sat waiting for her. When she caught up, she heard Leon ask if she ever did anything for fun. "Well, I, umm.." She wracked her brain trying to think of something, but she couldn't think of anything that she ever did just for the fun of it. It was always for food, or safety, or getting ready for the winter. "I actually don't know. Nothing comes to my mind."
