After clamping her jaws down on the mans wrist, Leon lunged and knocked the guy down and sand his teeth into the guys shoulder. With a loud crack, Leon turned back to Cassy, human blood dripping from his muzzle. The other partner surged forward, attempting to save at least one of the dogs, but Cassy darted around the injured man lying on the ground and back across the road in the direction they had come. When they had reached the other side, she asked Leon,"Do you know the way to the creek?"

Leon quickly followed Cassy, dodging other humans who stepped out of the way, woman screaming from the sight of his bloody snout. "Huh? Oh yeah! It's just passed Central Park and about two yards in the woods!" Leon tried to explain while running along side Cassy. "Here, just follow me!" Leon barked then picked up the pace to go ahead of Cassy, leading her though multiple different streets then eventually once they had arrived to Central Park Leon looked around to calculate where he was. "Alright...lets see if we're on the south and the.." His voice faded out as he spoke to himself then perked back up, picking up his pace once again. "Come on! Follow me!"

Cassy was running faster than she ever had before, half because she was terrified of the snatchers catching up to them, and half because she needed to keep up with Leon. Soon they arrived in Central park, and he slowed.
"Alright...lets see if we're on the south and the.." He seemed to be grounding himself on where they were, and soon his voice came back to its normal volume. "Come on! Follow me!" He ran into the woods, and Cassy followed, turning her head for a second to make sure they had lost the snatchers. She then ran into the woods after Leon.

Once they were inside the woods Leon finally slowed to a walk, breathing heavily with his tongue bobbing out of his mouth. "Alright, I'm pretty sure we lost 'em..!" Leon huffed out with a smile then started walking once again. "Just a little bit further and we'll be at the creek!" He barked with a wide smile.
Close to about ten minutes later they had finally arrived to a rushing creek, the sound of frogs croaking and a few birds chirping echoed through the wooded area. "We're here! This place is probably the calmest place I've ever been to!" Leon explained then dipped his snout into the cool running water, cleaning the blood from his fur.

After walking for about ten minutes they reached a chrystal clear creak that was gurgling over the smooth rocks, and the sound of life filled the air. Cassy panted, slowing her breath to a normal pace. Padding past Leon to the other side of him, to where the water was flowing away from her, she lapped at the water. Now that the adrenaline was making its way out of her system, she felt an ache in her paw, probably from where the snatcher had grabbed her. She put some weight on it to test it out, and slight whimpered as a small pain snaked through her paw.

Leon's ears perked once he heard the light whimper then quickly lifted his head to look towards Cassy, then his eyes trailed down to her sprained paw. "Hey, are you alright? I heard that this creek had small fish, that sorta message wounds to make them better!" Leon explained as he looked down into the clear water, watching the small fish eat away at the algae.

Cassy raised a brow, but walked over to where the small fish were, holding up her paw so as not to put an unnecessary weight on it. She layed down and let her paw float in the water. Slowly the small fish swam up and began kneading her paw. She winced at first, but soon her paw began to feel better as the muscles were soothed.

Leonidas watched as she carefully set her paw just ever so slightly into the water and smiled softly. "Is it working? Y'know I just heard that from some old dog from one of my shows, I didn't really think it was true but I mean it's worth a try" he chuckled as he watched Cassy intently.
Once Cassy had pulled her paw out Leon finally stuffed his muzzle into the water, trying to catch the small fish who swam each time he dunked his face into the cold water.

Cassy sighed as her paw soon just had a dull ache. "Yes, I think it actually worked, I need to keep that trick in mind for the future.." She stuck her other paw in the water and watched the fish swim around playfully. She smiled, and leaned in to watch closer when she lost her balance. She went face first into the creek, shrieking. Standing up, she began laughing at her own clumsiness.

"it worked? hah see I knew all along it was gonna work!" Leonidas said with a snarky look on his wet face from diving his snout into the water repeatedly, hoping to catch a fish though his chances of actually catching one is very slim, of course that wont stop this pup...
Leon quickly jerked back from the shriek and was drenched in water from Cassy, at first he was wide eyed but then laughed along with her, shortly after he jumped into the water himself so she wouldn't have to feel embarrassed alone.

Leon jumped into the water and laughed along with Cassy. She looked at the fish, trying to catch one. At first, she couldn't grasp the slippery fish, but after a few tries she was able to get her jaws around it. She walked out of the water, and shook her fur out. Laying down on the moss, she set the fish on the ground.

Leon's eyes widened seeing the female walk out of the water with a fish in her mouth. "H-hey! you actually caught one!do you actually know how long ive been trying to do that? " Leonidas exclaimed happily then looked down at the water.
"i dunno if its just because I'm too tall, or my snout is too big, or...I don't know.." leon plopped down into the water.

"Maybe I'm just a natural," Cassy joked. Her fur looked poofy due to Cassy having shook it out. The fish on the moss was flopping around, but soon stopped. "You know, not many dogs escape those snatchers. Most dogs that are caught in their sights are never seen again."
