James was silent, as well, until they did reach the library, James pushing the doors open. Simply put, the library was massive. It was a big room, anyways, and each wall was pretty much a bookcase, with shelves and shelves of various books, as well as several other bookcases, that made up aisles, a few ladders leaning on the bookcases. There were no people there, aside from James and Raz, but there were some tables, for people to sit at, too. James walked in, expecting her to follow.

Radia walked through the doors and stopped dead in her tracks. This room was the largest room she had ever seen. Dreamed of, even. It was larger than most of the common-houses in town. She looked around, her mouth slightly agape in awe. "Wow." She whispered under her breath. She took a few more steps in. How would she choose a book from this? She walked over to one of the walls and ran a hand over the bonds and titles of the books. She didn't recognise any of these. Of course, she hadn't read many different books. She mostly read the same books over and over because they couldn't afford to buy new ones all the time. Raz walked along the wall, forgetting about the Prince and their conversation.

"Most of them are just history books. I've had to read a lot of them, for education purposes." James stated, crossing his arms behind his back, and following after her, mostly to make sure she didn't steal anything. He looked up towards the ceiling, which was pure white, except for the middle of it, which was a sort of glass dome, one big window, more or less, for natural light, since torches would be quite dangerous in here. He remembered when he was younger, having to stay in here for a few hours every now and then, sometimes with his sister or tutors, studying, reading. It was quite boring, now that he really thought about it, and was glad that he didn't have to do that, again.

Radia stopped, spotting an interesting title. Robin Hood. She took it out of its place. "Was it worth it?" She asked, turning to face him. "All the studying?" She continued to walk along the cases and read titles of books. They were all sorts of colors-- or once were. Some were faded beyond repair unless they were to be bonded again. There were green, red, Brown, blue, all sorts of colors for the covers and bindings with nice writing. She plucked another book about magic. That would be helpful.

James momentarily looked away from the ceiling, to look at her, and shrug slightly. "I don't think so, no. Especially since I skimmed through most of them, and I have no intention of trying to read any of them again." He grinned just a bit, as he looked back up. "I had a bit of trouble paying attention, my tutors hated that. I only paid attention, when I trained to use my magic properly, since I actually cared about that." He said, sighing softly at the memories. "Plus, freezing random objects and all that is a lot less boring than sitting and reading books all day, I think."

"It's good to know your history. Harder to make the same mistakes over and over when you do know it." Radia responded to his first comment, a bit absent-mindedly as she skimmed through books. She smiled at the part of him not paying attention. Of course he would only pay attention to his power. "I'm sure you did enjoy freezing random objects." She smiled looking over at him. "But you can't rule a country by freezing its problems. " She shrugged, continuing her search for books.

"True. But, still, I hardly paid attention. I do know at least the basic things, for everything." James said, glancing at her for a moment, eventually looking away from the ceiling, to look at and follow after her. "Well, I could freeze all my problems. Another royal tries to start a little coup, just freeze them. Simple as that." He said, and shrugged, grinning a bit. "I actually freezed of my tutors, on accident, though. Just his chest down, though."

Radia playfully rolled her eyes. You can't freeze a coup, it will just come back angrier when you unfreeze it. She thought to herself. She covered her mouth to hide a grin and laugh when he reminisced of freezing a tutor. "Oh my... You didn't!" She said, looking at him. She tried holding in a giggle, but that didn't work too well. "That's terrible." She returned to looking for books. She kept imagining a little-James freezing an adult. She almost wished she'd been there to see it. It must have been quite the sight.

((Yeah, but it works. I could see him wearing the bandages in combat.))

James smiled a bit, and simply nodded. "I did." He said. "Though, I didn't get in trouble for it, because he was just fine afterwards. He even thought it was a bit impressive, for a kid, and was just glad I didn't freeze him entirely." James explained, with another nod. "I didn't know how to shatter the ice I cast, then, though, so we had to wait for him to melt, with a bit of help from another kid, who has fire magic, but he wasn't too good with it, so it took hours. That part, was not so fun, honestly."

Radia's smile faltered slightly. I didn't get in trouble for it. Of course not. Radia shook the thought off. There was no need to do that to herself. She was tired of arguing, and just talking with him was... nice. "He didn't get hypothermia, or something?" She asked, glancing back at him. He watched her moves, she caught. It couldn't be because he thought she was going to do something with the books. She couldn't steal them: where would she bring them to? She only had her room. As they spoke she took another book. That gave her three books in her arms. She stopped looking and turned to face him.

James shrugged dismissively. "Not that I know of. He's just fine, today, though he does keep his distance, now, from me." He replied, with a small grin. His former tutor knew, though, that James probably wouldn't do that again, since it was an accident, anyways. "Are you done?" He asked, when she stopped, doing the same, before he bumped into her, or something. "Also, I suppose you can come back, with me or someone else, to get more, if and when you finish those." James added.

"I don't blame him." She smiled. She looked down at the three books in her hands. She nodded her head. "Yeah, I think I am." She paused to hear what he said next. "I can?" She grinned giddily, like a child. "That would be great. There's a lot of interesting looking books in here. Even some of the history ones I saw, though I'm sure you probably skimmed some of them and would disagree with me." She hugged the books tightly to her chest, las if they were her lifeline. Perhaps they were. Maybe, if Radia couldn't escape, they would keep her a safe distanse away from insanity. Radia could only hope she could get herself out of here.

"You can, as long as you don't go around telling everyone that I'm letting you come here." James said, with a nod. "I wouldn't necessarily disagree, but I can't exactly relate to wanting to read history books, willingly, that's all." He added, and shrugged almost boredly. "Let's go back, then, before someone figures out you're not where you're supposed to be." James told her, and turned, starting to walk away, towards the door.

(i was kind of thinking about their plot, and i was thinking that like raz "influences" him, and this can be before or after they start to have a real relationship, to try and overthrow the king and queen early, so he can change how it is, for everyone, in the kingdom. they fail, losing a fight against the king and queen, and the guards and stuff, and james is banished, with raz and anyone who helped, and then they'd just kinda live life away from the royals. and james is just clueless, about how to live like, normally and its funny. they could also keep trying to start a revolution, and maybe do eventually.)

Radia raised an eyebrow. "Why would I tell? This will probably be my only time out of my prison cell." Radia had decided to call her 'room' a cell. It was, really. But she didn't think they wanted her going around saying 'cell'. "Ok." She followed after him, hoping not to fall behind this time. Or at least, not fall too far behind. She kept a slight didstance between them, following a few feet behind. She still admired the walls and tapestries hung on them. Radia kept her books close to her. Maybe, if she didn't hold on tight enough, the books would slip out of her grasp, and she would loose them forever. She didn't want that to happen. She tightened her grip.

"Just saying." James said, glancing back at her, not seeing to mind what she called her room, as it just wasn't a concern of his, or anything, what she called her room. Or cell, or whatever she wanted to call it. He decided that if someone, that would question why she was with him, and why she had books from the library, he'd simply say that he was making her carry them for him. Besides, he was certain most people would believe that, as James hadn't been the kindest to a few servants in the past, anyways.

(in a good way, but i could be the "do her bidding" way at first, but when they start developing like a relationship its with better intentions for both of them, and the kingdom, too?)
