Introduce Yourself
Finding it hard to say hello to everyone for the first time? Don't fret- I have posted an easy to follow guideline in the second post of the main thread! Let us know who you are, as well as where you feel comfortable fitting in.

All the horses I know are on a variety of supplements. It really helps their overall health. P.S. I've gone riding a couple of times for the first time after like 3 months i'm soo excited!

What a handsome boy! I love those light bays.

This is Bentley, the barn owners horse. She let me ride him for the lesson that my horse threw a shoe for lol.

Alsoooo @Amigo, i just switched to smartcombo ultra pellets bc my TB has awful feet FOR a TB and he's a redhead so he's got the most sensitive skin in the world and also he might have an ulcer (he's going to get scoped this summer). x.x BUT on the upside this new expensive supplement offers 10K worth of colic surgery reimbursement if it were to ever happen *knocks on wood*

We can't get that here and I don't dare change his food as he goes like a fruit loop. 🤣 My boy has quite good feet to be honest just want to support them more.

Oooooof y'all are a world away from the style that I ride. At this point my horses are out on pasture, maybe getting fed twice a week. Had the grass fertilized so we don't have to worry about them this summer. I think a little before winter rolls back around we're going to find something to help my old mare keep her weight up and a proper fitting blanket for her

The horse I ride most often right now is a grey. Poor kid has melanomas all over his body (eyes, lips, under tail area) They seem to be benign - they've been being monitored for years now and haven't changed shape or spread. So I definitely know the sensitive skin struggle lol.

They don't seem to affect him too badly in terms of his day to day.. I definitely ride bitless because of his lips though
