A lot of people have invested a lot of currency in the scrying stone to see if we were right about combos, and here is the result :D But wait... What are combo bases?When you breed two lions with the right combination of bases, their cubs roll a further, extra chance that can result in a third, new base, a "combo" base. Each combo base has its own requirements, and these bases often ignore the set genetic rules: for example, the Cairngorm combo base (Black Light Solid Special genetics) can be obtained by breeding a Celestial lion (Black Dark Countershaded Special genetics) and a Cocoa lioness (Black Medium Countershaded Rare genetics). Most combo bases can be passed down as long as one parent has it and further requirements are met if there are any, with the exception of Pulsar and Temporal. *Since the 12th October update, cubs that have triggered the original combo bases - Cairngorm, Citrine, Madagascar or Qahir - have a 50% chance of getting their respective mane color, and these can be inherited like any other mane color! Right now there are two different types of combo bases: "standard" combos and "factor" combos. Factor ones can be obtined by breeding any of the bases that make up the combo, but standard ones can be obtained by more than one combination of bases that are assembled into two different groups. The combo can trigger as long as the parents have bases that belong to a different combo group (not to be mistaken by the genetic color group). *Note: While some of the following standard combo tables have been completed, there may be some combinations that remain undiscovered yet. spent about 90sb and got an ember in the scrying stone...Blazing and ember 16 minutes until night time..i tried yesterday and it was 30 mins until night and 30 minutes until day and i got an ember in both of the tries. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hey guys! I just wanted to clear up some speculation about Ember. Quoting August's big update: "New Combo Base! A new combo base is now available to be bred during special circumstances! Ember is a Golden Dark Countershaded Special base that can be bred from now on year-round from the following factor bases: Factor 1: Blazing, Fiery Factor 2: Flint, Pewter" When we wrote the news, we intended the "special circumstances" to only mean the bases required to breed them. There are no other factors or stipulations to breeding Ember besides breeding factors to each other. :( We're very sorry about the communication error and we'll be sure to word announcements more cautiously in the future. 1 player likes this post! Noctis is a bit like Ebony - a breed only base that can be produced from the Black group, although your highest chance would be from the same base group (Onyx, Interstellar, etc). It's not a combo 0 players like this post! Like? |
