New Trivia rewards!
Do you remember when you guys voted on the sphinx mask version? I 'member! Three new Trivia rewards can be won in the Trivia game! The Sphinx Mask can be won only in Hard mode, but the other two, Lamassu Idol and Skeletal Sphinx, can be won in any category.
TOS QUIZ! By popular suggestion, we have added a compulsary Terms Quiz. There are 9 fairly basic questions to answer about the Terms of Service and Code of Conduct, and in order to access the game all new and existing members must complete the quiz first. We are hoping this should help with remembering some of the more important rules for newer members, and act as a nice refresher for our veterans  Suggestion
GAME TWEAKS: * Suggestion - Cubs sired will display in birth order (Newer cubs will appear on the bottom of the list). * Suggestion - Cubs bred will list mutations! * Suggestion - Hunter/Non-Hunter role has been added for Lionesses. Please note that you will need to set lionesses as Hunter before you are able to use them in hunts. *Update* - all lionesses marked as "Hunter" now show a hunting icon in their Status section on den/cave pages
* Suggestion - During stud requests you can now attach a message much like you can with a Transfer/Gift! * Suggestion - Longer Clan Raffle names will be allowed now! * Suggestion - You can now add/view notes on your blocked user list. * Some tweaks to tidy up the Hunting page have been made, reducing the amount of information displayed where you select lions and making a mini-FAQ at the bottom of the page. * The Allies page has also been broken down into 3 tabs - Allies, Pending Requests and Foes. * We have updated the Activation page for new members (and those of you who change your email address). You can now be logged in when activating your account. If you entered your email address incorrectly you can now change the email address on the account before you activate it, saving delays of having to contact our staff to have the email changed. * Inverted Rosette Gold will join the usual inverted rosette genetics today!
Updated bases & upcoming markings for: All main lions, All poses, Primal Smilus (adult), Primal Felis (adults), Sirenomelia, Lipomatosis, Cyclopia, Maneless, Female Leopon, Two Heads Fossil, Nuummite & Penumbra bases should be fully updated for all mutations within 24 hours. Further mutation files updates will resume next week!
**BUG FIX** - Raffled lions getting stuck should be *really* fixed. If you have anything stuck, PM Katze #3 for help! Possible new genetic group discussion - Please continue giving your input. There's a suggestion that inspired me to consider few options for a new genetic group called "Iridescent". I gave it a few deep thoughts and conversed with the admins and I figured it is best to create a separate, new thread for just discussion and your thoughts to gather as input. Few options I thought of are: - New Color Group (like Black, Cream etc) and move just a few bases such as Cinnabar etc + add new ones. Moved bases would be polled and would have breeding boosts with their previous colour groups. - New Shading Group (like Solid and Countershaded) and just move the colours like green, blue etc to new shade to make the breeding within same colour group easier for natural and colorbomb breeders. Discussion Thread with notes. Please do not discuss this idea in the News comments.

Although going through each and every lioness page for them to hunt now seems to me like unnecessary and tedious, doing that every time one of my lionesses is pregnant and I need a substitute... This whole new hunting style is not just a one time thing you can do...when the lion dies, does the role go with it? Does their name disappear from the hunting parties? Plus, now you have to add another existing lion to such party + give them the hunting role. I feel this hunting role is a hassle, I already don't like it so much. Because most of us here have more than 50+ lions and some adolescents. Seeing you have to physically add the same role to adolescents to get them to hunt is a bigger hassle. Because I don't always check to see which cub has aged to one year and determine to keep or train them. I'm sorry, but I do not approve of this new way of hunting. It's too much. Especially when majority of my time is on a handheld device and takes much longer to assign these new roles. Being on the computer and doing the same thing is slim. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Even though I know rules and ToS and everything the quiz has stressed me out so much, I was afraid of losing my account, because it sounded like there's no more tries if you fail. Imo with the hunting parties, there's no reason at all for having to make lionesses hunters. It's tidy enough if you have a few parties that you use every day and a list of random lionesses wouldn't bother me (and others, I think) at all. Also adols not displaying makes you need to check it every day if your cub turns adol if you want to train her? What is the reason of that? Honestly, I support the idea of turning off this feature 0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm usually a fan of updates to lionesses, but this new update on their roles; No. I don't like it! If needs be, unless a broodmother, all my lionesses are hunters when the time is needed. And the fact that I have to put my female adols as hunters as well?! I'm sorry if others disagree with my opinion, but is there a way to opt out of having these assigned roles? Cause I would prefer not to have them -_- 0 players like this post! Like? |

Most of these things are really awesome! (Though I will admit: not fond of the fact I now have to go lion to lion marking them as a hunter when "yeah of course they're a hunter, they're not a broodmother". But whatever I'm sure there's SOME reason for it.) 0 players like this post! Like? |

I don't much like the den idea, because not everyone really uses dens (I find it a hassle to move lions from den to den having to go to ever lions page just like this >.<) 0 players like this post! Like? |

I don't think having this extra option to be existed. We already have hunting parties. To assign each one, especially adolescents is too much work to begin with. We've adapted to it, some people like it and majority don't. If there's a better way, boy, I hope it's a good one. @Blitz, I'm with you too.
