New Trivia rewards!
Do you remember when you guys voted on the sphinx mask version? I 'member! Three new Trivia rewards can be won in the Trivia game! The Sphinx Mask can be won only in Hard mode, but the other two, Lamassu Idol and Skeletal Sphinx, can be won in any category.
TOS QUIZ! By popular suggestion, we have added a compulsary Terms Quiz. There are 9 fairly basic questions to answer about the Terms of Service and Code of Conduct, and in order to access the game all new and existing members must complete the quiz first. We are hoping this should help with remembering some of the more important rules for newer members, and act as a nice refresher for our veterans  Suggestion
GAME TWEAKS: * Suggestion - Cubs sired will display in birth order (Newer cubs will appear on the bottom of the list). * Suggestion - Cubs bred will list mutations! * Suggestion - Hunter/Non-Hunter role has been added for Lionesses. Please note that you will need to set lionesses as Hunter before you are able to use them in hunts. *Update* - all lionesses marked as "Hunter" now show a hunting icon in their Status section on den/cave pages
* Suggestion - During stud requests you can now attach a message much like you can with a Transfer/Gift! * Suggestion - Longer Clan Raffle names will be allowed now! * Suggestion - You can now add/view notes on your blocked user list. * Some tweaks to tidy up the Hunting page have been made, reducing the amount of information displayed where you select lions and making a mini-FAQ at the bottom of the page. * The Allies page has also been broken down into 3 tabs - Allies, Pending Requests and Foes. * We have updated the Activation page for new members (and those of you who change your email address). You can now be logged in when activating your account. If you entered your email address incorrectly you can now change the email address on the account before you activate it, saving delays of having to contact our staff to have the email changed. * Inverted Rosette Gold will join the usual inverted rosette genetics today!
Updated bases & upcoming markings for: All main lions, All poses, Primal Smilus (adult), Primal Felis (adults), Sirenomelia, Lipomatosis, Cyclopia, Maneless, Female Leopon, Two Heads Fossil, Nuummite & Penumbra bases should be fully updated for all mutations within 24 hours. Further mutation files updates will resume next week!
**BUG FIX** - Raffled lions getting stuck should be *really* fixed. If you have anything stuck, PM Katze #3 for help! Possible new genetic group discussion - Please continue giving your input. There's a suggestion that inspired me to consider few options for a new genetic group called "Iridescent". I gave it a few deep thoughts and conversed with the admins and I figured it is best to create a separate, new thread for just discussion and your thoughts to gather as input. Few options I thought of are: - New Color Group (like Black, Cream etc) and move just a few bases such as Cinnabar etc + add new ones. Moved bases would be polled and would have breeding boosts with their previous colour groups. - New Shading Group (like Solid and Countershaded) and just move the colours like green, blue etc to new shade to make the breeding within same colour group easier for natural and colorbomb breeders. Discussion Thread with notes. Please do not discuss this idea in the News comments.

I agree with you, Spork, in that being able to toggle this hunting feature on and off would be far better than forcing everyone into it and making them re-organize everything. I hover around 40 lionesses usually, and it was tedious enough for me to figure out how I wanted to re-do everything, so yeah I can see how if you have 50 or more lionesses this update could be really frustrating. 0 players like this post! Just a little reminder that if you guys have suggestions or want a feature to be tweaked, please post an appropriate thread on our Game Development forums. Coders do not look at the news comments, and will not see a suggestion here. With all the comments made on the news, suggestions are easy to miss, as well. We appreciate your input and highly value all of your opinions, so we would really appreciate if you would direct your suggestions to the proper area of the site. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ok, the fact that color group is winning over shade is ridiculous. No one is going to want Xanthic, Glacial, and Cinnabar in the same breeding color group once they realize that's what it will look like. Someone else said before that there's really 0 context on what people are voting on unless they've been keeping up with the threads for the suggestion. A lot of people probably just say "ooo new color group cool" without actually realizing what that entails for them and other players. 0 players like this post! Oh man, got almost anxious when noticed I can't send anyone to hunt. With 43 lionesses, setting many of them to hunter (I used them all to hunt before...) is such a pain. >:( Otherwise, nice updates! 0 players like this post! Like? |

a lot of these updates came out of left field for me. i didn't have a lot of time to begin with, but the roles change and tos quiz were such a big turn off that it killed my motivation to do anything else. a little warning would have been nice 0 players like this post! Like? |

Also everyone that is mad about the hunting update: Do you add hunts to your lionesses? If not, this update is actually really good for that. It will ONLY show lionesses that are set to Hunter in the "Replenish Hunts" section. You cannot add hunts to just parties; you have to select each lioness at a time from the Replenish Hunts section. Honestly you should have been able to just add hunts to specific parties in the first place, but still. Imagine having potentially hundreds of lions to sift through; not everyone wants to put a bunch of tags/notes in their lioness' names. This also completely removes the chances of someone accidentally hunting a lion they meant to sex change. Aragami - Missing the whole entire point of why people are upset with the update to begin with. Shoving the whole "you can auto set all lionesses from the bottom of the page" isn't going to help. I've set my lionesses this way, doesn't make it less of an extra step and doesn't mean that the update isn't excessive. Katzi - I think most of this is people discussing the updates in general. If a bunch of us have the same idea in this thread, I'm pretty sure we will band and suggest it. Although, that's a funny way of implementing and completely changing everything on the site. Because if one group has time to read the news articles, as they are alerts at the top of the page, but don't have enough time to go through the entire suggestions forum...well, see the problem there?
