New Trivia rewards!
Do you remember when you guys voted on the sphinx mask version? I 'member! Three new Trivia rewards can be won in the Trivia game! The Sphinx Mask can be won only in Hard mode, but the other two, Lamassu Idol and Skeletal Sphinx, can be won in any category.
TOS QUIZ! By popular suggestion, we have added a compulsary Terms Quiz. There are 9 fairly basic questions to answer about the Terms of Service and Code of Conduct, and in order to access the game all new and existing members must complete the quiz first. We are hoping this should help with remembering some of the more important rules for newer members, and act as a nice refresher for our veterans  Suggestion
GAME TWEAKS: * Suggestion - Cubs sired will display in birth order (Newer cubs will appear on the bottom of the list). * Suggestion - Cubs bred will list mutations! * Suggestion - Hunter/Non-Hunter role has been added for Lionesses. Please note that you will need to set lionesses as Hunter before you are able to use them in hunts. *Update* - all lionesses marked as "Hunter" now show a hunting icon in their Status section on den/cave pages
* Suggestion - During stud requests you can now attach a message much like you can with a Transfer/Gift! * Suggestion - Longer Clan Raffle names will be allowed now! * Suggestion - You can now add/view notes on your blocked user list. * Some tweaks to tidy up the Hunting page have been made, reducing the amount of information displayed where you select lions and making a mini-FAQ at the bottom of the page. * The Allies page has also been broken down into 3 tabs - Allies, Pending Requests and Foes. * We have updated the Activation page for new members (and those of you who change your email address). You can now be logged in when activating your account. If you entered your email address incorrectly you can now change the email address on the account before you activate it, saving delays of having to contact our staff to have the email changed. * Inverted Rosette Gold will join the usual inverted rosette genetics today!
Updated bases & upcoming markings for: All main lions, All poses, Primal Smilus (adult), Primal Felis (adults), Sirenomelia, Lipomatosis, Cyclopia, Maneless, Female Leopon, Two Heads Fossil, Nuummite & Penumbra bases should be fully updated for all mutations within 24 hours. Further mutation files updates will resume next week!
**BUG FIX** - Raffled lions getting stuck should be *really* fixed. If you have anything stuck, PM Katze #3 for help! Possible new genetic group discussion - Please continue giving your input. There's a suggestion that inspired me to consider few options for a new genetic group called "Iridescent". I gave it a few deep thoughts and conversed with the admins and I figured it is best to create a separate, new thread for just discussion and your thoughts to gather as input. Few options I thought of are: - New Color Group (like Black, Cream etc) and move just a few bases such as Cinnabar etc + add new ones. Moved bases would be polled and would have breeding boosts with their previous colour groups. - New Shading Group (like Solid and Countershaded) and just move the colours like green, blue etc to new shade to make the breeding within same colour group easier for natural and colorbomb breeders. Discussion Thread with notes. Please do not discuss this idea in the News comments.

I would instantly non-support having all lions as Hunters by default. Then all those annoying NCLs will be up on hunting lists again! Maybe all born lions as Hunters by default and all Claimed lionesses need to be set, but NOOO way to all set to hunters by default. Just dont click on them. Dont add them to the hunting parties It was really simple... And if you accidently hunt them? No harm done. Fading Angel, having to scroll through them is the problem. They block the way, they force me to read through to find females I wanted to hunt. Every single time, every time you claim an NCL, she gets up there and blocks the view. I find that a hundred times more annoying than having to go to a lioness' page once in her life to set her role. At least that is a one-time event, and NCLs is constant. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Savory- I get where you're coming from, which is why I agree for a more streamlined way cuz I wouldn't want to click every lioness if I had 30+ again owo However, I don't use hunting parties often as I bred lionesses every heat since maroon is very rare for me to get and I need all the breedings I can, thus it screws up my hunting lionesses and makes extra work to delete the party, sift through all the lions, and then re-create until another lioness in that party is in heat. And even then when I had all parties pretty well timed, I would hunt them 10 times and start more from my un-organzied mess of a list lol. Thus, I prefer this update. I am still 100% ways to make this more streamlined and easy though as I don't like anyone being inconvenienced. Though I still believe people should try updates for a week or so before they all out hate it but thts just my opinion lol. Mad Hyena- omg same it is basically caves again lol. I'm just a purrson who 100% believes you need to give updates some time to settle before 'jumping on the hate train' or whatever though so idk maybe I'm just too chill for these updates lately lol. xD And yus! I claim them too and they were always in the way lol. Especially when I already had 30 or so lions actively ready to hunt and only 4 could be brood mothers qwq drove me up the wall every 30 mins and was a big reason I kept myself to 10 or so lions. 0 players like this post! Then make hunting parties? That what I did and would prefer to do at this point. I made 2-4 hunting parties with my main lions. And had a few not in party to cover when one would be unavailable in the party and what not 0 players like this post! Like? |

And if they dont fit in hunting parties? Breeding renders hunters useless, and what if I end up with 4 hunting parties consisting of 2 huntable females each? Multiple hunting parties cant be selected, but individual lionesses can. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Because breeding renders is why I would keep a few extras out of parties. I mean fine cool, you guys like it differently, but there's literally no put for hunting parties now, and just a mess for the majority of us that dint much care to hunt a NCL sometimes If you just put 5-10 lionesses on huntress, thats all that will show, so what's the point of making parties when they are already just that easy to click on? 0 players like this post! How are hunting parties useless? I'm actively using one right now for the lionesses I want hunting who aren't pregnant or something, so I don't see how that's useless in any sense~ o.O 0 players like this post! Like? |

There's a very good put for hunting parties still - hunting certain females together. Like a lvl 24 female training her level 3 underlings, so you dont have to select all of them every time, you organise them. So you remember which females you wanted to hunt first, you send a hunting party first and all the rest, later. All those uses still stay. All that's different now is that undesirables wont automatically be a sore in the eye getting on the hunting list. 0 players like this post! Like? |

This update for the hunting parties has to be the most blown-up topic more than when the hunting parties existed...because at the time the parties made sense. O.o I dunno, I feel like this is extra work I wouldn't have time for when adolescents age and I have to give them the role again (right?) and add them to a list. I allow all my girls to hunt, because large number of members, means many more mouths to feed. I do also go a day or two without feeding or amusing them, because laziness. I just completed my girls to have that special role that they need in order to hunt. Kinda tedious to work with, since I had to double and triple check to make sure I did get all of them situated. Re-organized my parties and back to square one. I benefit my pride and stats, Idc who I choose to hunt. They hunt, bring back a game with 2 or more uses and I'm satisfied. 0 players like this post! I think the best way to solve this mayhem is just make it so you can go through your caves one by one, check all the ones you want on/off hunting, then have a button at the bottom for that. Like moving lionesses from cave to cave in large groups. Less work for people who want their whole pride hunting, and easy for those who don't. 0 players like this post! Like? |

But many people do care who they send to hunt, and dont want some random chase-fodder getting the stat that was meant for a keeper lioness to get. It's not like hunting is instant, a wrong female sent out = wasted 30 minutes, needed lions didnt get a stat, good food item could have been caught but she failed because she's a measily level 1. A ton of reasons not to want some females up there on the list. And having default hunters would be disastrous. Now you have to spare a click to a female you WANT to hunt - meaning, a keeper of some sorts. If it was changed to all be default are hunters, then you'd need to spare a click to editing the females you DONT want to hunt - like all the fodder NCLs and other lions you dont intend to keep. Wasting time on something you are not intending to keep is a lot worse than doing it on something you mean to keep. 0 players like this post!
