New Trivia rewards!
Do you remember when you guys voted on the sphinx mask version? I 'member! Three new Trivia rewards can be won in the Trivia game! The Sphinx Mask can be won only in Hard mode, but the other two, Lamassu Idol and Skeletal Sphinx, can be won in any category.
TOS QUIZ! By popular suggestion, we have added a compulsary Terms Quiz. There are 9 fairly basic questions to answer about the Terms of Service and Code of Conduct, and in order to access the game all new and existing members must complete the quiz first. We are hoping this should help with remembering some of the more important rules for newer members, and act as a nice refresher for our veterans  Suggestion
GAME TWEAKS: * Suggestion - Cubs sired will display in birth order (Newer cubs will appear on the bottom of the list). * Suggestion - Cubs bred will list mutations! * Suggestion - Hunter/Non-Hunter role has been added for Lionesses. Please note that you will need to set lionesses as Hunter before you are able to use them in hunts. *Update* - all lionesses marked as "Hunter" now show a hunting icon in their Status section on den/cave pages
* Suggestion - During stud requests you can now attach a message much like you can with a Transfer/Gift! * Suggestion - Longer Clan Raffle names will be allowed now! * Suggestion - You can now add/view notes on your blocked user list. * Some tweaks to tidy up the Hunting page have been made, reducing the amount of information displayed where you select lions and making a mini-FAQ at the bottom of the page. * The Allies page has also been broken down into 3 tabs - Allies, Pending Requests and Foes. * We have updated the Activation page for new members (and those of you who change your email address). You can now be logged in when activating your account. If you entered your email address incorrectly you can now change the email address on the account before you activate it, saving delays of having to contact our staff to have the email changed. * Inverted Rosette Gold will join the usual inverted rosette genetics today!
Updated bases & upcoming markings for: All main lions, All poses, Primal Smilus (adult), Primal Felis (adults), Sirenomelia, Lipomatosis, Cyclopia, Maneless, Female Leopon, Two Heads Fossil, Nuummite & Penumbra bases should be fully updated for all mutations within 24 hours. Further mutation files updates will resume next week!
**BUG FIX** - Raffled lions getting stuck should be *really* fixed. If you have anything stuck, PM Katze #3 for help! Possible new genetic group discussion - Please continue giving your input. There's a suggestion that inspired me to consider few options for a new genetic group called "Iridescent". I gave it a few deep thoughts and conversed with the admins and I figured it is best to create a separate, new thread for just discussion and your thoughts to gather as input. Few options I thought of are: - New Color Group (like Black, Cream etc) and move just a few bases such as Cinnabar etc + add new ones. Moved bases would be polled and would have breeding boosts with their previous colour groups. - New Shading Group (like Solid and Countershaded) and just move the colours like green, blue etc to new shade to make the breeding within same colour group easier for natural and colorbomb breeders. Discussion Thread with notes. Please do not discuss this idea in the News comments.

Also this setting individual lions as hunters? This... was completely useless, and a huge inconvenience, thank you for that. Mayhaps hunter should be an OPT OUT rather than an opt in. Coupled with the sudden quiz leaving many under the assumption they were in trouble due to very poor timing and wording on the staffs part? This was just a terrible update, especially with the whole thing about setting the lionesses as hunters, it's completely unnecessary and time consuming. And like many people said, the quiz was a very bad idea too. All around bad update, I hope at least the hunting situation gets taken out so it's back to normal. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The hunter/non-hunter roles for lionesses seems a bit tedious for those that have many lions, and like to hunt them evenly. To be able to turn that off would be nice. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I get the idea behind setting lionesses as hunters, but the way it was implemented just makes it an unnecessary hassle. I feel like it would be much better if lionesses were set as hunters by default. That way players who don't want all their lionesses as hunters have the option to clear up the hunting page can still do that, while everyone else won't have the hassle of setting it. I'm honestly baffled as to why that wasn't how it was implemented, it seems so obvious that it would be the best way to go about it. But another thing to note, I'm not very happy about the many cynical and rude comments people are leaving about the feature. LOVE the new hunting update omg finally I can't stand having lionesses I don't hunt in the list especially since I couldn't make them all brood mothers so they would stay off the list lol~ Though I feel bad for people with huge prides having to click them one by one, but purrhaps a checklist or something will be added later for convenience sake? owo Seems to be caves situation with hate the moment it comes out again though which is kinda depressing to see, Like seriously people need to chill lol, but oh well they are allowed their own opinions, though the rudeness should stop but that's just me. -shrug- ToS is nice too, though i was concerned for a sec but it was super easy so no purroblems there owo 0 players like this post! I too was a bit freaked out on the sudden quiz and that it should've been mentioned that it would occur on the next update and not right away. I find it a nice way to roughly have users click a multiple choice answer, but I too wasn't sure if I'd get a temporary ban for like an HOUR if I got one or more answers incorrect. Although, I know the staff wouldn't be that selfish to have you get banned for an hour for not knowing the ToS by heart. Not all of us are that great with memory or also have common sense. However, I do think we should correct answeers that we get wrong and not at the end of the quiz saying we didn't pass because we got x/9 questions wrong and have to do the quiz from the top. That should be looked into thoroughly and maybe for some folks that misinterpret the grammar may need a different phase of the wording. (Because some people may have Dyslexia and can't really focus too well with wording, etc) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Really do not like the "Role" update. Its tedious and downright annoying. I NEVER supported that option. I enjoyed having all my ladies displayed how they were, and having my adols pop up in when they came of age. This was nice especially since I have 30+ lionesses & at least 5 female adols at a time. Now I'm going to have to keep more track of each lions' progression.   Hope there will be an option to opt out of this. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Okay I supported the original suggestion for the hunting edit, but I'm kinda ticked it took this turn. I was hoping for there to be a manual "this lioness doesnt hunt" option so I could select the few I don't want, this is just a heck of a lot of work with a computer that hates loading new pages. Wish this was something you could tick off a bunch of lionesses in a den at once at the least, but oh well. :/ Everything else is great, but this and the sudden tos quiz irked me. Quiz more bc I logged in with exactly enough time to get everything on my account lined up on the hour mark and then got thrown off, but oh well. 0 players like this post! Like? |
